Kindred Durrington is a warm and welcoming environment where the staff are passionate about the mission to create inspiring worlds full of awe and wonder for little ones to grow and thrive in. By creating days filled with unique moments and opportunities, Kindred are able to truly enrich a child’s development during 0-5 years.

Not only that but Kindred also personally understand what it is to be a parent during this magical time and create meaningful relationships with every parent. Parents will never miss an opportunity to share in the joy of every child’s developmental and learning moments.

Kindred Durrington is located within the heart of Durrington, next to the Infant School and has been awarded an Ofsted 'Good' rating (May 2022).

They offer exceptional childcare and early years education to children aged from 3 months up to 5 years and are open from 7:30am to 6:00pm (with session times to suit your needs).

The nursery has an impressive large outdoor space with mud kitchens and access to a fantastic Forest School. Staff are passionate about loose parts play and follow a Reggio-inspired approach to learning and development.

There is a dedicated parking area for families at the nursery.

My daughter is so happy at Durrington. From initially thinking that a childminder setting was the best option, having to move her to a nursery because she wouldn't settle was a hard decision to make but one that I wish I had made at the start.
The staff at Durrington are supportive of her, our family,
transitions between developmental stages, they listen and follow our lead on things like naps, toilet training, tantrums and the dummy as well as providing advice and support for us to manage them better when we ask.
She gets loads of extra curricular opportunities on top of her daily routines and activities such as baking, dancing, park visits, visitors and celebrations. Their facilities are great, lots of outside space and give opportunities to use it every day no matter the weather.
She has bonded well with all staff members and we could not be happier with the care that she receives there.

My daughter has been having an amazing time at Kindred Durrington. She really looks forward to going everyday. The staff engage really well with her and she has many positive memories and experiences that she shares with us. She has strong bonds with all the staff and they are always happy to see her
everyday. The app is great and it keeps me updated on how her day is going. She participates in a wide array of activities which keep her occupied and engaged. I am so happy to have found a little family at Kindred. I definitely will recommend to others.

Kindred durrington nursery is very good- staff are lovely and welcoming, learning resources/ toys and outdoor space is great. The meals are always nutritious and healthy- and my son always enjoys them. My son enjoys when baby sensory attend the nursery, and all the activities he does in nursery- he
is kept busy and occupied. The communication and updates from staff are great. Ive never felt any worry or concern when dropping him off and staff are quick to help or answer any questions I have, he is happy when I pick him up. The nursery is clean and tidy. When my older son previously attended they were very good with SEN needs, and supported him in his own unique journey and gave him tools/equipment to support him during his time there, and also supported me as a parent. I would recommend the nursery to any other parents, very happy with both my son's time there.

Both my girls have attended kindred, one is now thriving at school and my younger still attends.
They both loved going in, they developed their social skills, numbers and language skills and built confidence ready for school.
Most importantly they had fun everyday and made me feel completely at ease
as a parent.
Through their app, we got constant updates on what my child ate and any bumps and scraps, as well as termly updates on all the task theyd been upto.
The nursery was also very reliable, there hasnt been a time when i have been let down with childcare due to staffing which is reasuring for me as an nhs worker.
The options of extra days if needed, funded places, open days and partys they host have been a really bonus.Any more serious bumps and scraps(rarely), that have required imediate first aid they have phoned me straight away and have really helpped with my 2nd borns questionable choices!
Only room for improvement would be the outdoor space would be great a bit bigger

My son has been attending Kindred since 2022 when he was 9 months old. My son had a stoma for 12 months due to a bowel condition and the nursery embraced it, learning how to deal with changes and looking out for anything concerning. My son has autism and I can't speak highly enough of the Manager and
SENCO they've gone above and beyond to support his learning and development and give him all the opportunities any other child gets. My son can't wait to go into nursery each day and I am always assured of his care and that his needs being met. The food is fantastic he eats better at nursery than at home and they always do extra activities like learning French, cooking and fun exercise and dance class. My son has some really strong bonds with staff there and I'll be extremely sad when he leaves later this year to go to school.

My son started here in June at the age of 9 months old , he is now 17 months old and is thriving and hitting milestones early . The first day he started he loved nursery but was always unsure on handover in the morning but as time went on my little boy now goes straight to his keyworker and waves me
goodbye with no issues. He is currently in curiosity Crescent and has such a lovely relationship with his peers and the staff there. The staff at kindred Durrington aren't just there for the children but always ask how I am doing and always have a open door policy if I need to get things out . They are amazing and I cant fault them . My son also loves experimenting with food more since going here and now eats like Eddie Hall , costing me a fortune

We've been really pleased with the care our son receives at this nursery. The staff are always friendly, supportive, and enthusiastic, which made settling in much easier for both him and us as parents.
Since starting, we've seen a big boost in his confidence and social skills, and he genuinely enjoys
attending each day. Seeing him so happy to go in reassures us that he feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

Our boy has been here since he was 6 months old, he absolutely loves the staff, they are friendly and professional at all times.

My son has been attending the nursery for the last 6 months and has settled in perfectly! He's always welcomed in with big smiles every morning. From the very beginning, the management team have been incredibly supportive and always available to help with any queries or concerns. They respond quickly and take the time to listen, which gives us real peace of mind. The staff are kind, caring, and genuinely invested in the children's wellbeing.
Communication is excellent, we are always kept informed, and if there are ever any issues, they let us know straight away and deal with things promptly and professionally. We've had an absolutely fantastic experience at Kindred Durrington. My daughter started there at 11 months in Sep 25. The staff went above and beyond to provide a loving and nurturing home from home environment for her,which helped her settle in quickly. Within a week she was happily settling herself
for a nap there,something which we still haven't achieved at home! The baby room offers plenty of space to play and explore, with plenty more activities in the garden. The staff always set up a variety of activities to encourage learning,curiousity and exploration,such as water and messy play,painting,cooking,dancing and even a baby sensory class. We had to move house and relocate in Dec 25,but my daughter really enjoyed her time at Kindred Durrington and formed beautiful bonds with the staff. She was so confident starting her new nursery thanks to the wonderful start she had at Kindred.

Since my son has started at Kindred nursery, durrington, all the staff have gone above and beyond to make him feel settled and to reassure me in starting our nursery journey. My son has issues with separation from myself, so the staff have done everything possible to make my son feel comfortable and
confident when I leave him.
The nursery have fantastic communication so I am never left wondering how he is doing, and since September we have had a number of meetings/phone calls to update me on my son's progress and areas we can work on as a team.

My son has attended this nursery for almost 2 years. In that time he has built great bonds with the staff, especially one in particular who he adores. All the staff are always smiling and welcoming. We always receive an update of the day when we pick up our son as well as regular updates via the app.
The meals provided are a good variety, my son always finishes his meals and often has seconds.
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, always happy to help.
Also on 2 occasions the staff member has not recognised the grandparent picking up my son and followed appropriate policies in order to safeguard, which as a parent is very important.

Our daughter attends Kindred Durrington and has made so much progress since her enrolment began. Each of the staff are caring, attentive, knowledgeable and supportive which makes my daughter excited to go into nursery each morning and happy on collection. The relationships and trust that she has with
them at Kindred is wholesome and we feel really lucky to have them look after our daughter with such care.

My Daughter has been attending this nursery for around 12 months now, two full days a week.
Since beginning here the staff have been understanding and compassionate to my child's unique needs and have definitely helped with the development we have seen over the last 12 months.
Staff keep us informed
of anything that is/has happened at the nursery and our child loves to attend the setting.
Staff are friendly and approachable, always putting the children's needs first.

My child has been attending the nursery for 3 months now and has settled in beautifully! All of the staff are wonderful and they take amazing care of her! They've been very good about changes in hours and have been supportive of our family changes. Would highly recommend!
