Kindred Whitton is a warm and welcoming environment where the staff enrich a child’s development during 0-5 years. They fill each day with meaningful activities and support each little one to grow and thrive.

The team at Kindred also personally understand what it is to be a parent during this magical time, so ensure they form meaningful relationships with every parent. Parents will never miss an opportunity to share in the joy of every child’s developmental and learning moments.

Kindred Whitton has multiple activity rooms, each thoughtfully designed and offering a home-from-home environment. These rooms enhance development through play and the nursery garden offers a wide variety of outdoor learning opportunities, including a large sand play area.

My little boy started at whitton day in sept 2025 and he just loves it there! The staff really look after him so well and always give him the attention he deserves. They are in constant communication with us to understand his development areas and work with him to improve on them. He is so very happy
when he is at nursery and we cannot thank the staff enough for looking after him.

Our 3-year-old son started in the Preschool year this September, and we've been delighted with the care he's received. The staff are loving and highly capable with the children and friendly and communicative with us. Our son loves it there, and we're very happy with our choice.

Our child has only being going to Kindred Whitton for a couple of months after we moved to the area. She had a bit of a tough time at her previous nursery, struggling to sleep and not eating much. Since moving to Kindred Whitton shes been having a great time. The staff are fantastic and give us great
updates and insights into her time at nursery. Shes formed a good bond with the staff members who look after her and loves to go nursery these days!

The manager and her team are absolutely amazing and do everything to make the nursery feel like a warm and loving second home for the children. We moved our daughter to whitton day nursery after a bad experience elsewhere and she immediately was made to feel very welcome from the minute she walked through
the door. She has made lots of friends and enjoyed every minute of her time there which as parents has made things a lot easier for us. The staff are very friendly, very approachable and put the needs of the children first. What the facility lacks in space compared to some other nurseries, is more than made up for by the staff and wider community, allowing all the children to thrive.


Can't recommend it more highly.

Our family has been part of the nursery for the past six years, and we couldn't be more grateful for the care and support both of our children have received. The staff are incredibly nurturing, taking time to know each child and helping them grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence.


The environment

is warm, welcoming, and truly feels like a second home. Our children have loved the engaging activities and the encouragement to explore and learn through play. Communication has always been excellent, keeping us involved and reassured every step of the way.


We'll always be grateful to Kindred Whitton for the role they've played in our children's early years.

My daughter has been at Kindred since Jan 25 and is absolutely thriving. She eats well and plays well. Sometimes she refuses to sleep though, I think because she's too excited. I've noticed my daughter is more comfortable around her older cousins nowadays and I'd put this down to her experience at nursery.
I've been most impressed by the staff. A real sense of care and commitment really shines through. I feel very comfortable leaving my daughter in their capable hands. Thanks very much, team!

The manager and her team are most wonderful, my daughter is now sad to leave to go home every evenings!


We have noticed that since my daughter has been attending she has learnt many new skills, expressions and physicality. She's even more vocal and not afraid to express herself.


Specifically,

as parents we actually learn more about her when she starts interacting with others. It is probably the best decision we made amongst other nurseries in the area.


She eats so well and love all the food at the nursery and we really can't compete with that at home. This is a true little gem of Whitton and sincerely recommend to new parents or any parents who would want their kids to have plenty of fun and shine. Thank you the manager and everyone there!

We have always been extremely happy with the care provided to our child at Kindred Whitton! The staff take great time to get to know your child so well and provide lots of learning opportunities for them through play and fun. They do lots of messy play, story time, outside play and singing/dancing.
I love that every day is so varied and fun filled for him! I am always particularly impressed by the varied food menu and the quality of the meals. We love it so much that we have signed up our second child to start very soon. The nursery has a very family feel about it!

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Hello, my name is Bex. I graduated from St Mary's University with a BA in Drama alongside Primary Teaching in 2005. Soon after I took a part-time job at the Whitton Nursery and never left! I have always had a love of children, and this love inspired me to complete my Early Years Professional Status in 2007 at Kingston University.


My love of children and drama complement each other, and I love to act out well-known stories with the children. My favourite authors are Julia Donaldson and Michael Rosen.


Being a part of the Kindred Family is an exciting adventure and we will continue to explore.

Hi, my name is Charlotte and I am the deputy manager.


I started working at Whitton in 2014 when I embarked on my NVQ Level 3. Since then, I have gained my BA Hons in Early Years Education from Kingston whilst continuing at the setting.


I took a 3 year break to have my little boy and when the opportunity arose to fill the deputy position, I jumped at it! Kindred Whitton has always had a very special place in my heart, and I am delighted to be back working here again.
