Kindred Mickleover Nursery and Pre-School

My daughter started this nursery in the baby room earlier this year. Staff were so supportive of both baby and I, and really helped her to settle in. I am confident that my daughter enjoys her time at nursery and is well looked after. The staff are very attentive, and I am really pleased that we chose for my daughter to attend here.

My son has attended Mary Poppins/kindred since he was 9 months old and he is just coming up to 2. It's a small setting of a very knowledgable and hands on team who care for my child very well. My son is always happy to go in to nursery and all the ladies go above and beyond to make sure he is ok and any issues are communicated very well whether it be by phone or on the new app.

My son has been attending Mary Poppins for almost a year now and he has learnt so much in his time there! He is more confident at using his cutlery because the staff have helped him. He loves coming to nursery and has made many friends there! I would recommend Mary Poppins.

She has learned a lot since starting at Kindred nursery. The management is excellent and key workers for our toddler are great.

I believe that my son is extremely well looked after at the nursery, he clearly loves attending the nursery. The staff have always been extremely friendly and are clearly exceptionally good at what they do. They're all very knowledgeable and very attentive to the needs and well being of my son, and can only imagine that it is the same for every child that attends there. The staff always bring to our attention the smallest concern that they may have regarding my son, they immediately call and keep you informed of any possible problem no matter how small. It's obvious that they care very much about the children that attend, which as a parent makes you happy and confident about how your child is looked after. I believe that my son and the other children there are very lucky to have the staff that they do have looking after them. The parents should also count themselves lucky for this.

The most fantastic and friendly staff. My son has been here for 7 months and it feels like home and as if we've known them forever. My son loves coming to nursery and is happy, safe and well looked after here.

My son has been at Mary Poppins since he was 13 months, and is now 3years 3 months. He has thrived and developed such an inquisitive and confident personality. He is thriving at Mary Poppins and very grateful for all the support from the staff there.

Mary Poppins has been excellent in looking after our daughter. When we first moved to Derby, it was stressful finding a nursery and sending our daughter for the first time. However, we had a very good experience and always feel reassured when we drop her off before work. The staff are very caring, polite, and keep us updated about everything.Thank you to the Mary Poppins team for all your care and support.

Denise and the team are really friendly and efficient, I feel confident putting my little boy in nursery, he is happy and he is learning and socialising. Communication is brilliant and the facilities are good,

After having my son, the thought of returning to work and leaving him in other peoples care really worried me. As soon as we were welcomed in to Mary Poppins we knew that it was the right place for him. Denise showed us round 4 years ago and we have never regretting putting him in to this nursery. He absolutely loves coming to nursery, he is thriving and we will be so sad for him to leave but having now had our daughter we are exciting for her to begin her Mary Poppins journey. Returning to work this time around does not feel anywhere near as daunting knowing that she will be well looked after and entertained all day. Having personally attended this nursery 30 years ago it still has that family feel which is comforting and yet still professional. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much for them and you can really see that they care for the children. I recommend Mary Poppins to all of my friends and family who are considering nurseries. We couldn't wish for a nursery!

We are always kept well informed about what's happening at the nursery, and we really appreciate the feedback and updates about what she's been getting up to during the day.

Both of my children have attended Mary Poppins nursery and it's been a happy second home to them. My daughter's confidence grew from day one due to the warm, homely environment and the care from all the staff. It felt like I was dropping my child off with a family member. Her interests were taken on board and she really flourished there and loved it until she left for school, so I was happy to send my son there too. He is still enjoying himself and loves all the activities they put on for the children. He is more than happy to go in the morning and I can see him playing with a smile when I pick him up. We've been so impressed with the gentle, knowledgeable and professional care for both of our children and can tell they treat each child and their needs individually whilst communicating to us in detail about their day.

Both my children have been to Mary Poppins and I really can't fault them. My son left a couple of years ago and my daughter this year. They are both very different children and the ladies who work there have been amazing with both. I was always so surprised at the things they were learning and picking up at a young age and Mary Poppins has certainly helped both of them develop. The kids have both enjoyed going and are usually very excited to tell us what they have been doing with their day.

My child has been attending Mary Poppins for the past 3 years. Our experience of the nursery has been amazing, mostly due to the wonderful staff there. The environment is warm and friendly and I feel that my child is thriving in his development. Most importantly, my child is happy to go into nursery every day which makes me feel reassured that he is safe and well cared for. Thank you!

The team at Mary Poppins are fantastic. Always great you with a smile at the door & look genuinely happy to see our little boy each morning. They are brilliant at giving us a run down at the end of the day & flexible with anything we need. Our boy absolutely loves it there & always comes out/home with a smile on his face, fully tummy & exhausted from all the fun he's had!

Absolutely brilliant, I trust you so much to take care of Finley. You have always have been brilliant he loves it. He especially loves music Mondays with the parachute and always talks about 'Becky', I do hope this is his name otherwise apologies. You all do brilliantly with him, thank you so much. Will really miss you all looking after him when he goes to school. Keep going the Mary Poppins angels x

I like it most as it's not crowded and fully staffed.
