Kindred Waltham Abbey is a warm and welcoming environment where the staff are passionate about the mission to create inspiring worlds full of awe and wonder for little ones to grow and thrive in. By creating days filled with unique moments and opportunities, Kindred are able to truly enrich a child’s development during 0-5 years.

Not only that but Kindred also personally understand what it is to be a parent during this magical time and create meaningful relationships with every parent. Parents will never miss an opportunity to share in the joy of every child’s developmental and learning moments.

Kindred Waltham Abbey offers a warm, home-from-home environment and is thoughtfully designed within a purpose-built facility, complete with its own private car park for added convenience. The nursery has a large garden dedicated to each age group with a mud kitchen and wild nature garden.

The nursery offers exceptional childcare and early years education to children aged from 3 months up to 5 years and is are open from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. Speak to the team to find out more.

My daughter has been there since she was 8 months old and she is now 3 1/2 and thriving. The staff have always been very polite caring and informative. My daughter always struggles at drop off (just how she is) and they are always on hand to give her cuddles and comfort. They are always doing fun things
such as yoga etc. Special mention to Shanice, Sydney, Sarah, Sadie, Nicola and Gemma. All have been brilliant looking after my special girl throughout the years! Would highly recommend.

My Daughter has been here for over 2 years, she was very shy at first (able to talk but not talking at nursery) her confidence built within weeks.
She is now absorbing so much more and is enjoying what she tells me is 'Yogo' and her letters of the week. She is definitely preparing for school.
I highly
recommend this Nursery/ Pre-school they are professional, approachable and understanding that your child is is in their care.
The nursery is purpose built, I was impressed that they can access their toilets from their outside play area (as well as easy access inside) With fun outdoor activities.
They explain what your child had done for the day, whether they have eaten well or not, food likes and dislikes, progression in understanding and of course any art work they have been working on!
I have not ran into any major issues, I am always upto date , given plenty of notice for picture day. I have no complaints! Management welcoming and approachable and most importantly knows the children.

My Daughter has been at Kindred in since September and she absolutely loves it! She's always asking for Nicola :) she's just so genuinely happy to go, it a huge relief knowing she's making happy memories and completely safe with all the amazing staff there x

My daughter has been at Kindred now for 2 years and we always had a very good and positive experience.


Every question is answered and we have always felt reassured that our daughter is well cared and looked after.

My son has been has been at kindred for 13 months now and I couldn't be happier the nursery has such warm welcoming feeling.
All the staff are wonderful and my son has settled so well grown with confidence, learning and making new friends every day and it's so lovely to watch him grow at kindred.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Kindred. The staff are incredibly caring and dedicated, taking the time to really get to know each child and make them feel valued and secure. Our little one has grown in confidence, made lovely friendships, and comes home excited to share what they've learned

My daughter has been going to this nursery since the beginning of this year and I am really pleased with her progress. The staff are so lovely and really seem to care and show her so much love and attention. She doesn't seem to be behind in anything and is learning so much and nursery is bringing out
her personality.


One thing I would like more of is a bit more interaction on the app, maybe some more pictures as I feel like it has slowed down since when she first started but other than that I cannot fault anything.


Everything at the nursery is clean and tidy, staff well presented and polite. Manager is lovely and helpful.

My son has been at Kindred for 4 months now and he absolutely loves it! All the staff are lovely and welcoming. My son has already built good relationships with the ladies in his room. We are really happy with everything, especially the activities and the food supplied. Would highly recommend

Since starting at this nursery, the staff have welcomed my son with open arms and a friendly smile. All staff that greet us at the door know who my son is and are able to answer anything that I ask. He thoroughly enjoys going to nursery and is happy all day.

I have been using the nursery for nearly 5 years for both of my children and I cannot recommend here enough! Both of my children have loved attending and my daughter even 3 years after leaving still says how much she loved it and wishes she was still there. The staff are amazing and so supportive, nothing
is ever too much trouble to them to help with or listen. My son has had a few difficulties and all the staff have been amazing and helped me or pointed me in the right direction to help him in the best way. I cannot praise the staff enough and I'm actually dreading when my son leaves that I won't be a part of this special place any more.

Our little boy has been at Kindred since 2021 and we couldn't be more pleased with how he has developed, his care has been amazing and we can't thank all the staff enough for everything they have done for him. He runs in every morning and big smiles when we comes home, it is like a big happy family,
he will miss Kindred when he goes to school next year and he has simply had the best possible start thanks to all the love care and attention shown by all staff.

My son has been attending this lovely nursery for over a year. He is safe, happy and extremely well cared for. We had a very in-depth tour of the nursery and was introduced to all staff who were all extremely happy. All staff who I deal with at pick up and drop off are friendly and aware of my son and
aware of his daily activities and how his well-being has been throughout the day. There is a varied menu for the children which is also updated on the app daily so I am aware of what my son has eaten throughout the day. The app is a fantastic resource that the Nursery use. This is a fast and interactive way to keep the parents updated. I also receive weekly observations, I am aware of where my child is with his development and the expectations of the nursery and also the next steps in order to support him for the future. My son thoroughly enjoyed going to Nursery and I am extremely happy with his progression and development over the past year. I couldn't recommend this Nursery enough.
