Abbey Nursery Houston

Abbey is a fantastic nursery. As a family we have used the nursery since Jan 2022. It has been a great place for both my son and daughter. They are so well looked after and cared for I know they are in safe hands. I would 100% recommend the nursery to anyone looking.

I have 2 children at the nursery and both love it. My children have great relationships with the staff which is lovely to see and makes me feel at ease leaving them there. We get frequent updates each day on them

Nursery is good, always lots of toys out for the children there is always lots of good experiences for children out. The staff are always very friendly with all parents and staff. Very good resources in the nursery.

The staff are warm, nurturing, and truly dedicated to creating a safe and engaging environment. The variety of play activities they provide is fantastic, keeping the children entertained while also encouraging their development. It's clear that the team takes great care in ensuring each child feels happy and secure. The communication with parents is excellent, giving us real peace of mind. We are so grateful for the love and attention they give-highly recommend!

We have used Abbey Nursery since September 2023. We have always found all staff very friendly, approachable and caring. The menu changes regularly and our son is always offered an alternative if he doesn't like the first choice. There has always been excellent communication, and staff are quick to answer any queries or concerns. We are very happy with our experience.

Our 20 month old son has been attending this nursery for 3 months now and we are very pleased with all aspects of his experience there. The staff have always been lovely; there are plenty of fun activities everyday & amazing meals. He is a fussy eater at home but has gotten on really well at the nursery, often wanting a second helping! He is always in good spirits and having a great time when I pick him up. We are very grateful for all the care and nurturing he has been getting and would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

All of the staff at Abbey nursery are incredibly kind, caring and nurturing. Both of my children thoroughly enjoy being there and I am always amazed at their learning. Most recently, my four year old son was telling me about all of the planets in the solar system that he had learnt. Keep up the amazing work.

The nursery is a great environment for pre school children to flourish in. I have had 2 children attend from the age of 2 years to 5 years. The app they use to share updates with you through out the day makes you feel involved and connected.

Overall very pleased I picked Abbey nursery to look after my baby!

My wee one has really come on since starting nursery at a young age. He seems to really enjoy it and have fun in the time he spends there. The updates and reviews are great and we are kept well informed. Frequent communication of any updates surrounding the nursery and also if in direct relation to my wee one too. Good menu choice and activities on offer to help with all areas of development.

We have two kids at Abbey Nursery Houston both of which have had a wonderful experience, mainly down to the staff. The level of care provided by the staff, particularly the more experienced members of each room, has been great. To see the development in both children, see them benefit from the social aspect of the nursery and for them to have the opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of experiences really does demonstrate the value of enrolling them in a great nursery.

I think overall the nursery provides an excellent level of care. Kids have a good space indoors and outdoors with easy access to local park and scout hall too for activities. Not sure kids get outside quite as much as they used to, though my perception may be wrong but overall, the nursery is very good, with friendly and kind staff.

Our daughter has been with Abbey Nursery Houston since she was 12 months old - which is now over two years. The care standards in each of the rooms has been excellent including when we've had some complex health issues to deal with over the years. Our daughter has a brilliant time, access to the playground and trips to the local scout hall for other activities. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

My daughter has flourished since she started at Abbey Nursery. She has a great wee group of friends - since moving to the 3-5 room her speech has improved, she has become more independent (putting on her shoes and her jacket etc. and choosing her own outfits each day) and she is recognising words and letters. She really enjoys the group learning and likes to participate in the activities.

My son has been at Abbey since January 2023 and has had a wonderful experience there. He has gone from strength to strength and enjoys a variety of both indoor and outdoor activities that keep him challenged and engaged. The staff at Abbey know my son well and take a genuine interest in his health and wellbeing, this is very important to me. I am very grateful for the hard work and care of all the staff who work with my son.

Our daughter has been attending nursery here for a little under 6 months, and we are absolutely thrilled with how she's doing. She's so happy going into nursery in the morning, and always tells us how much fun she had. The staff are all excellent with her, and I'm especially happy with the level of communication we get through the app. Our daughter also has some potentially complex medical needs, which the staff at the nursery are fully on top of, and I have no worries about what would happen if she ever became unwell while at nursery. When our daughter first started at Abbey Nursery, one of the key workers assigned to her had been at the nursery for over 20 years. If a workplace as fast-paced and high-stress as early years education and childcare can retain staff members for that long, they must be doing something right.

I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else for 0-3 childcare facilities.

We get the right amount of updates on our son. Too many and you worry the staff are stuck doing admin all day and too little and you feel like you have no idea what your little one gets up to all day! Abbey hit the sweet spot perfectly.
