You wont find a better nursery than The Finchley!
My niece currently attends and my nephew attended a few years ago. This is a home away from home for us and the staff now feel like family!
The love and care all the staff have shown throughout is a true testament to how amazing the team are at The
Finchley.
The settling is processes and room transitions were smooth and they were and are always excited and happy to go in and excited about the days activities.
This really is an incredible nursery and it is so comforting to our family to know they are in the best hands!

We couldn't be happier with the care our son receives at The Finchley Nursery. From the very beginning, the staff have been incredibly kind, caring and welcoming and the level of warmth and attention makes such a difference. The quality of care is truly exceptional. Our son feels safe, happy and valued
every single day, which gives us complete peace of mind as parents.
The activities provided are wonderfully varied and exciting. Each day is filled with engaging opportunities for learning and play, encouraging creativity, confidence, and curiosity. The structured routine gives the children stability and helps them thrive, while still allowing plenty of fun and exploration. Communication with parents is excellent. We are always kept well-informed about our son's day, his progress and any important updates.

Since my son has started Nursery on the hill he has come on leaps and bounds. I was slightly anxious as any mum would be sending him to nursery after having a year together, however he is absolutely thriving. All the staff have been so welcoming and attentive. We have both formed lovely relationships
with the staff in the baby room and they have helped so much with his development from walking and hopefully soon to be talking! A mother can only dream that their son smiles and laughs everytime I say 'We are going to nursery today'! I love that they update us everyday with pictures so we can see all the fun he has had!! Could not be happier with our choice.

My son has attended for over nine months now and has a wonderful time which is the main thing I need from a Nursery. The staff all seem lovely and trustworthy and get to know the children well. They send nice updates so you know what your child has been up to. I would like it if they did a few more
outings to the woods or something, but otherwise they seem to have a good range of activities. The garden is quite small but the kids still do lots of different things. They are also very helpful with potty training. Thank you!

I am thoroughly impressed with the nursery! The staff are amazing - warm, caring, and truly dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for the children.
The learning opportunities are great and I love how they're tailored to each child's unique needs and interests.
The outdoor space is great,
the children get plenty of fresh air and exercise, the equipment is well-maintained and stimulating, for example their mud kitchen and sand pit in the baby garden!
But what really sets this nursery apart is the communication, they are fantastic at liaising with us.
The management team is very involved and approachable.
The team keep us informed about my child's daily activities and progress through a great online app and we receive daily photos too.
The nursery organise many different events to celebrate everyone's culture within the nursery.
Overall, I'm thrilled with the nursery and would highly recommend it to any parent looking for a high-quality early years setting.

I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough - it truly feels like a warm, loving extension of our home. From the moment my 3-year-old son started attending, the entire staff has gone above and beyond in every way, especially when it comes to supporting his additional needs.


As a parent of a child

with extra requirements, I was initially nervous about finding a place that would truly see him as an individual, understand his unique way of experiencing the world, and help him thrive without ever making him feel different. This team has done exactly that - and so much more. They are patient, incredibly knowledgeable, creative in their approaches, and always full of genuine warmth and positivity. They've tailored activities, routines, and support to suit him perfectly, celebrating every small milestone as if it were their own child's victory. NoTH have provided a wonderful, safe learning environment for my son, he has been with the team for 2 years and has flourished in their care. They provide a wealth of stimulating activities including yoga and trips outside to visit their local environment aswell as forest school experiences. I cannot
recommend them highly enough and have absolutely trust and confidence in the staff that they provide the best possible space for him to learn, explore, play and grow under their guidance and support. Thank you NOTH team for being so amazing

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. Our son started in the baby room and is now in the over-twos room, and he has loved every single part of his journey there. The staff are absolutely amazing - so caring, supportive, and genuinely invested in the children - and we've seen incredible growth in
his confidence, learning, and development. He runs in happily every day, which says everything about how safe, loved, and stimulated he feels! We love nursery on the hill!

Where do I start?! What an amazing nursery with such a bubbly and caring team. My now 17 month old joined The Finchley back in December, he had such an amazing settling experience, all the staff were so supportive with myself as I was a bit nervous. My son is absolutely THRIVING at nursery, he is learning
so many new things. He is thoroughly enjoying all the fun messy play activities along with their extra curricular activity such as Drama, my son LOVES music and is having a blast during these sessions. The baby garden is a perfect size, so much room to run around and explore different things such as a big sand pit area and mud kitchen along with all the fun toys they set up daily. I cannot thank all the lovely staff members in his room enough! Along with all the staff members I have met so far, what an amazing job you are all doing! Very very friendly and nurturing environment for my little boy. Thank you The Finchley!

That partnership with families is so important to us.

My son gets on so well at nursery, his socialisation and language have improved thanks to going to nursery.
The staff are always available to answer my questions and support both me and my son in what we are doing, for example toilet training.
I see so many benefits from him attending this nursery

The staff are caring and attentive. They provide helpful feedback to parents at the end of each day and truly understand every child's individual needs. They have also been very supportive with toilet training. My daughter has built a strong bond with her key worker and is always happy to be greeted
by her. Each week, they introduce new activities that are engaging and fantastic for children's development.

My Son has been at Nursery on the Hill since sept 2025 and he absolutely loves it.
His excelled in so much since being there. His learning and development has improved so much and I love how many friends his made.
The staff are amazing and I wouldn't recommend enough!

We have been so pleased with our daughter's experience of nursery, thanks to the wonderful team at NOTH. We feel safe knowing that she is well-taken care of. They provide regular photo updates and will call to keep us informed if needed. We receive updates for her targets so we can work on it at home
with her too. Could not ask for anything more!

We honestly could not have wished for a better nursery for our son. From the very first day, the team made us feel completely confident and at ease, and the care, patience, and genuine love they show every child is truly special.
Our son has grown so much during his time here - not just in learning,
but in confidence, happiness, and independence. He absolutely loves coming in, and that alone speaks volumes. The staff take the time to really know each child as an individual, and it shows in everything they do.

The nursery feels like a home away from home. My son loves going to nursery and when I pick him up he is full of all the wonderful things he learn and what he had been up to. The structure they have for the children promotes academic and social development. The staff are well managed and really informative

We had a great experience with Nursery on the Green - our daughter attended from 11 - 20 months until we moved away from the area, and we couldn't have asked for better care in those formative months. She settled with the baby room staff very quickly, and they were always great with providing feedback
and ensuring that our daughter had a comfortable time. Would recommend this nursery to anyone!
