Harrow Day Nursery & Montessori

We have been very happy with this nursery since our son joined in August 2024. It's a very nurturing and caring environment and the outdoor space is fab. The nursery goes above and beyond with its children, their parents and the wider community, often putting on out of hours events which we thoroughly enjoy.

Our toddler started at the nursery as a baby and the care he received in the baby room really made us feel that it was a safe secure space for him. He developed strong attachment with the baby room staff and then with other staff members as he moved from toddler room to preschool. Management were good at identifying and assigning appropriate staff members as his key person, as he developed a good bonding with them. They understand him emotionally and are there to support him and encourage him to try new things that he finds challenging - we personally saw how a staff member patiently and lovingly supported his potty training journey, using lots of positive reinforcements. We have now trusted the nursery with our second baby and he has been thriving - he loves singing and laughing with the staff members, and he has developed so much in a short space of time, it's been heartwarming to see him grow and thrive!

We moved from Manchester and another nursery there. We were worried about our little one settling down but much to our relief he absolutely loved it there. The staff is amazing and was so accommodating. The nursery itself is big and spacious. Will definitely recommend x

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Harrow Day Nursery & Montessori. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth, care and professionalism. The staff are incredibly nurturing, patient and dedicated to each child's well-being and development.

Our child absolutely loves going to nursery each day - which speaks volumes! The daily activities are thoughtfully planned, encouraging creativity, confidence and learning through play. We've noticed such positive growth in social skills, communication and independence.

The facility itself is clean, safe and filled with age-appropriate toys, books and learning materials. We especially appreciate the regular updates, photos and communication from the staff - it makes us feel involved and reassured.

We're so grateful to have found such a caring and inspiring environment during these important early years. Highly recommended to any parent looking for quality childcare.

I couldn't be happier with the care my daughter receives at this nursery. From the very first day, the staff have been incredibly welcoming, nurturing, and attentive. It's clear that they genuinely care about the children and put a lot of effort into creating a safe, enjoyable, and stimulating environment.

Although my daughter is still a toddler and not yet speaking, she's always happy and excited when we arrive, and she settles in so well. It's reassuring to see how comfortable and content she is in their care.

The team keep me well-informed with regular updates and photos, which gives me real peace of mind during the day. I truly feel she's in the best possible hands. This nursery has exceeded my expectations, and I'm so grateful for the kind, supportive experience they provide.

The nursery staff have the best of intentions towards the children and are always thinking of new and innovative ways to keep them engaged. They recently had Donkey visit the nursery. The children learned a out life cycles with love chicks hatching from eggs. We are even impressed with the new learnings and habits brought home.

The facilities are nice and spacious. The toddler and pre school room in particular. The garden space is large with lots to do.

The administrative side continues to improve and engagement with parents is improving.

Overall you can tell that this is a good nursery that is always trying to improve and doesn't get comfortable with where it is currently at, which would be easy to do after recently receiving a positive Ofsted report.

My son are so happy and content here. The attention to detail is excellent and the staff certainly go that 'extra mile' to ensure that the needs of each individual child are met. I would never go else where and would highly recommend

The nursery is accommodating to children's needs. Some Key workers and staff are very good. We are happy with the overall management. My child is happy and I feel safe sending my child to the nursery. Cleanliness could be a bit improved when it comes to the time when the child is toilet training but overall we are happy with the nursery.

Our son and us love the Harrow Day Nursery and Montessori because they support him to be independent (eg: feeding himself, choosing the toys he wants to play with). We also are very impressed and happy with the activities and special events organised where parents also get involved.

Care and management from the nursery is excellent. Our child is happy to arrive for breakfast and can’t wait to show us all the things they’ve done when picked up. Daily reports through the app are thorough with photos. Carers are quick to inform us of any incidents and regularly put on family events. Facilities and the building itself (a former church hall) are excellent with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for children to enjoy.

A lovely nursery! All of the staff are so supportive, and they provide my daughter with so much care, attention and positivity. Every day there is a new activity or experience planned, and she seems to be really thriving from the variety.

My daughter has attended this nursery since October 2023, where she started in the toddler room, but has since transitioned into the preschool. The staff were warm, engaging and caring, and she enjoyed the various activities planned each day. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the outdoor area is well-equipped and spacious as well. The staff are good with communication, and the app is very useful as well. I viewed several nurseries in the area, and this one was by far the most welcoming and spacious.

I’ve had a great experience with Harrow Day Nursery. My daughter has just started in the last month, and all the staff have been so helpful and patient in settling her in. The staff do daily updates on the nursery app of how my daughter is doing, which is great because as a parent, you want to know how they are when you’re not with them. Overall, I would highly recommend Harrow Day Nursery.

My son has learnt so many things through the varied activities at the nursery and both my wife and I are confident he is safe and well looked after. Communication with nursery staff is always fast and efficient. My son loves going to the nursery and is extremely happy so we know his needs are being met. We cannot recommend the nursery highly enough.

Harrow Day Nursery has been a great option for us and our daughter. She's settled in very well and the staff have been so caring and warm. I feel my daughter is very safe there I can tell that she is well looked after during the day. It's a big nursery with good facilities and an excellent garden space. I toured several nurseries in the area to make our choice and I am very happy that we have selected Harrow Day Nursery for our daughter's care.

My daughter has been attending the nursery since 2021 and she loves every minute of it. The primary caregivers are amazing and go above and beyond with her. She's always telling us lovely stories about her teachers and friends. It's a little community and I thoroughly enjoy listening to her about her time there. The teachers are awesome, cannot fault them in any way. They always listen, and if there's something wrong, they're hot on the trot to sort it out. She has adapted to the environment there with ease. The transition from baby to toddler to preschool was smooth and carefully thought out by her caregivers. There are lots of celebrations too, which she loves and we love attending too as parents. Lots of online activity, checking in on her progress with new work cycles. Her eating habits have also improved by trying new things there. I'd highly recommend Harrow Day Nursery to my friends and family. We'll be sending our second child there too.

One thing I would like more information about is learning plans for preschool children and ideas of lessons we could do at home also.
