They make every child feel special and wanted. After my older children's first day at school every staff member asked how it went and how they are. They nurture and support both children and parents and make nursery an enjoyable place for everyone!

We couldn't be happier with the care and support our two children have received at the nursery. Our eldest has been attending since 2022, and watching both of our children grow in confidence, develop new skills, and reach important milestones has been amazing. The dedication and genuine care shown by all of the staff have made such a positive difference to our family.

A special mention has to go to Kym. She is always so friendly, welcoming, and approachable. Nothing ever feels like too much trouble, and she's always available to talk whenever we have a question or need reassurance. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine passion for what she does are evident every day.

Overall, we have had an amazing experience at Hucknall Day Nursery. From my eldest child to my youngest, who is now heading into her final year of preschool, it has been wonderful to watch them develop, grow, and thrive during their time here. Seeing their progress has been incredibly rewarding and fulfilling, thanks to the guidance, care, and support provided by the fantastic team. We are truly grateful for all they have done to help our children flourish.

I attended the Mother's Day afternoon tea the nursery and it's such a lovely experience to be able to share that with my little girl. She gets so excited when I'm able to visit and real care goes into these special events like mother's day, Christmas etc.

We have always been extremely happy with the service and care that we have received from hucknall day nursery, especially from Kym & Hannah. They are extremely personal, caring and kind and we can't thank them enough for everything they have done for us over the years.

I could not be happier with the nursery I have chosen for my little boy, the nursery itself and the staff are absolutely amazing. As my son has a medical condition, I was very anxious sending him to nursery however the attentiveness and care of the nursery staff put me at ease straight away. They always keep me updated via the app, send weekly observations and always give a fantastic handover and the end of the day. My son loves it at Grosvenor and all of the staff. Our daughter is leaving Hucknall Day Nursery and will be starting school in September. She's had 4 great years at Hucknall Day Nursery, made even special by their Graduation Event to celebrate the achievements of their Rising 5's. The moment was marked with songs, balloons and an afternoon garden party. Thank you for a great send off! She will miss everyone when she starts big school!

My daughter has really enjoyed her time at Grosvenor house. They do so many fun activities and are very nurturing and caring. We've really enjoyed attending the events too, such as the summer fair and Christmas grotto. The staff seem to know her well and take the time to get to know her interests. She will miss the nursery when she goes to school.

Our son started Small People in May 2026, the team saw our tight turn around and were amazing in accommodating this. Since starting our son has had nothing short of a blast every day he is in. As parents we get lots of updates about his day which is lovely. In our first month we also had weekly phone calls to let us know how he was settling in. I could sing the praises of Small People all day!

We couldn't be happier with this nursery. The staff are caring, attentive, and genuinely passionate about supporting the children's development. From day one, they made George feel safe, welcomed, and excited to attend each day.One thing that has stood out to us most is how seriously and professionally they handle George's allergies. The team has been incredibly accommodating, careful, and proactive in ensuring his safety at all times. They communicate clearly with us, follow all procedures diligently, and always give us peace of mind knowing George is in such capable hands.The environment is clean, nurturing, and full of engaging activities that encourage learning, creativity, and confidence. We've seen such positive growth in George's communication, social skills, and independence since starting here.Communication with parents is excellent, and it's clear the team truly cares about every child's wellbeing and progress.

My son absolutely loved Small People Nursery. I was so nervous at first, but it's truly like no other. The focus on outdoor play is amazing, and he was always happy at drop-off and collection. I'd 100% recommend, especially if you're feeling a little unsure.

The team is always very friendly, welcoming, and approachable, creating a positive and nurturing environment. Most importantly, my child genuinely looks forward to going to nursery every day, which says it all.

Our daughter has attended since August. She settled in quickly and we have been so impressed by the kindness of the staff and the way they take such a personal approach to each child. The food always sounds delicious and they organise lots of different activities for the children. Couldn't be more pleased that we chose Grosvenor House nursery.
