We recently went to one this weekend with a bbq, fire engine, games, a performer and loads more. The nursery puts lots of effort into these extra days and it is hugely appreciated!

From the start, Small People has been a place where they could grow, explore and thrive in such a supportive, nature-filled space. We feel that Small People set our older child up for success at school by fostering independence, social skills and a love of learning, making her transition to school easy. The food at Small People is truly outstanding. It's so reassuring to see the nursery prioritise good nutrition while introducing the children to a variety of flavours. The fact that the food is homemade with love really adds to the overall wonderful experience at Small People.

with the new management. This seems to have created a more stable environment at the nursery and I have confidence that the new manager has the best interests of the children at heart. Little things have had a great impact - such as repairing the gate and using a key fob to access the nursery. Having a receptionist as a friendly face in the morning is also appreciated.

environment. However, communication needs improvement and staff retention has been a serious issue, affecting consistency. In the preschool room, there are usually just two staff members (sometimes only one) with a large group. Adding a third staff member, even part-time, would allow smaller groups and more individual attention. We really enjoy the community days, but outings like trips to parks, which were a highlight in the past, haven't happened in over a year. The promised forest school has also not materialised even with several promises. Despite these challenges, we deeply appreciate the care the staff provides, and my daughter's happiness at nursery speaks volumes.

The transition from room to room was so smooth and it wasn't a problem at all for her. Again this is thanks to the staff that works there. They made her hit her milestone so early and her development in all areas is wonderful and this melts my heart. The management also is so helpful and always they help me in different situations as a working parent such as booking extra sessions; they communicate every change that happens to the nursery. The nursery it's super clean and the food is great. My daughter is going to be in this nursery until she starts school.
