Great activities created which are engaging, varied and innovative, with staff who spend time getting to know my son, the food is exceptional and it's a friendly community, where all staff know my son and he knows them. Any concerns I've had have been listened to and responded to.

My daughter attended StationHouse from May 2024 after moving from a different nursery and during her time at StationHouse she absolutely thrived. She made great friends, had strong bonds with her key people and I watched her grow in her personal social and emotional development. She learnt how to write her name and identify words, has a great understanding of phonics and left more than ready for school with a zest for imaginative play and a joy of reading. She also learnt key skills that have helped her in her first year at school including Makaton, understanding right from wrong from the staff incorporating British Values into everything they do, and she enjoys meeting new people through the social interaction she had with both adults and children during her time at StationHouse. Attending forest school every week for over a year, she has a love of the outside world and taking care of animals, not to mention enjoying lighting fires responsibly! I couldn't be happier with StationHouse.

We have been absolutely blown away by the lakehouse team. They have always responded super quickly, been so thorough and diligent in the care they provide our daughter. The activities and updates we get are detailed and really make my day with the photos! 10/10 could not recommend them enough.

Stationhouse is a wonderful nursery that consists of incredible staff in a great setting. Through the activities and encouragement of staff, we have seen our daughter grow in confidence and independence. Values of kindness and sharing are well established, as well as the opportunity to learn and try new things. Food is excellent - well balanced and well-received!

Stationhouse is a brilliant nursery. They provide a caring, nurturing and loving environment filled with adventures and activities - encouraging the children, building their confidence and developing strong bonds with the other kids and adults too. Listening to the children and developing activities around their interests ensures the children are engaged in their own learning too. This couldn't be done without the hard work and dedication of the staff who are all amazing - they have such compassion and enthusiasm whether it's first thing in the morning or last thing in the evening they always have a smile! They will always take the time to tell you about their day and work with you and provide support, coming up with creative ideas to help and ensure your child's wellbeing comes first.

Our experience with Lakehouse has always been very positive. The communication is always prompt and professional, the staff are helpful and always cheery and smiley. Our child seems very happy and we feel he is well cared for during his time at nursery.

I think that Stationhouse Nursery in Portishead is excellent. The facilities are excellent, and the ethos of the team - putting the child first and individually supporting them to develop and grow - is something that has seen both our kids shine. The staff provided excellent feedback to parents and has provided us additional resources to help us provide consistency between nursery and home. The management team are great to deal with, and I think the inclusion of the forest school is a highlight. I would strongly recommend Stationhouse Nursery.

The team at Stationhouse Nursery in Portishead are exceptional. They constantly demonstrate their unwavering dedication to all the children in their care, creating a nurturing environment that allows children to grow and flourish. Having both our children attend Stationhouse meant we saw exactly how the children are understood as individuals. Our children’s key workers know them inside and out and tailor their approach wonderfully to provide the best possible support and opportunities for development and learning. Not only do the team at Stationhouse care for the children themselves, but they are also attentive to the families behind them. The facilities are excellent, and the fact that the forest school is included at no extra cost is brilliant. Having food prepared fresh daily by an excellent chef is also wonderful. The Stationhouse team are part of the village helping us to raise our children, and I am sincerely grateful to them.

Fantastic nursery. The staff are incredibly caring but also ensure the children have such a fun, stimulating and exciting time. The staff seem very happy and well supported, which is a credit to the nursery's management team. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful childcare setting nearby!

Fantastic Nursery that goes above and beyond for our child. She always comes back happy, having actively learnt things that she’s keen to show us. She adores the staff and we are always delighted leaving her there knowing that she will have a great day.

We have had a great experience with Stationhouse Nursery over the past 5 years with all 3 of our children. The staff really care about each child and are happy to accommodate and adapt to parent requests. The children are all happy, the activities varied and enriching and the food excellent. They eat better at nursery than at home!

Stationhouse has been absolutely fantastic since we started in September! We had recently moved to the area and were sad to leave our old nursery but needn’t have worried as Stationhouse has exceeded our expectations in all areas! The staff are amazing! A great manager and is always so friendly, approachable and organised. The staff in Sunbeams are all brilliant as well. Our daughter’s key worker is always so engaging and goes above and beyond. We have been so touched by all the effort she and the other girls have made to help our daughter use Swedish at nursery, as she is being raised bilingual at home. Our daughter adores all of the staff and waves us off happily at drop off every time and talks about them regularly at home - a great testament to how happy she is there.

Fabulous experience with my son at Snowflakes, Stationhouse! The team are supportive and helpful and always demonstrates a professional manner when I have any dealings. They give care and attention to handovers and really make us as a family feel valued, my son loves going and has learnt so much from them all!

Stationhouse is a fantastic nursery from the baby room to the preschool room. Everyone has been welcoming, supportive and engaging from when we first started. They take the time to find out about the children outside of the nursery and make me feel very comfortable leaving both children in their care. They have worked with me and given me constant advice about my daughter’s allergies, ensuring she is still getting delicious, nutritious meals. My pre-schooler has developed a love for writing and drawing and is set up brilliantly to be starting school in September.
