Rosewood Montessori Day Nursery & Forest School

We decided to send our daughter to Rosewood when she turned 12 months - she just graduated (still can't believe an actual graduation party was held - which was awesome!) age 3 and a half and is now attending nursery school - and I feel a big part of this smooth transition was thanks to the staff at Rosewood Montessori. The staff were brilliant - accommodative to our needs, always on hand to have a chat about anything. They were helpful in terms of helping with the transition from baby to toddler. We made the transition to potty training without any big hurdles and all the way through; they were just there for us. We will miss you all and would make the decision to join again if given a choice without hesitation. Thank you to Cathey, and all the staff once again!

Amazing team at Rosewood. As a mother of an IVF baby, I know I can be overprotective, and I felt nothing but seen and supported when my daughter first started attending last Feb. I viewed several nurseries and instantly felt that Rosewood Montessori is the place where I feel safe and comfortable to leave my child. I find everyone very personable and caring. My son loves gong to the nursery and learns a lot every day. Thank you very much for all the hard work you do.

Our daughter has been coming to Rosewood since January. She really enjoys it and has settled well. The staff are very helpful/approachable. Our daughter receives great care here. We are so pleased we joined the rosewood family and look forward to more enjoyable fun days for our daughter to come.

My son goes 5 days a week and really enjoys his time at the nursery. The workers at nursery are really friendly and my son always enjoys his time with them. He looks forward to going to the nursery in the morning, which makes things easy in the morning.

I have 2 children who have been at Rosewood for 15 months now and we have been very happy with their development and the care given by the whole team. We have been involved in a serious issue at the nursery which has been dealt with very well by the staff in particular the manager who has been very approachable and genuine in attending to our needs as parents and making us feel comfortable enough to trust the nursery to care for our children. They are very happy there and always tell us gleefully about what they have learned, new songs and activities, and interact very well with the other children. The manager truly is a credit to this nursery and you can tell that she genuinely loves helping and watching children thrive.

Since then he has had such a fun time at nursery. The food is great. The staff keep you updated. The activities are engaging. My Son talks about his day and misses nursery too. I would whole heartedly recommend Rosewood Montessori.

From the moment my son started at Rosewood, I have felt confident and assured he is being well taken care of. The nursery manager is exceptionally knowledgeable and was part of the decision for us. The nursery environment is light, clean and calm. My son is happy at drop-off and enjoys the food and being with the staff. I feel like this is the perfect place for his learning and development before he goes to school. The garden outside and forest school is something I know he will really enjoy using.

My son had a great transition to nursery. He settled in quickly, and we could tell he bonded really well with the staff. He also developed a lot physically and verbally and enjoyed being at the nursery. The staff and management were always helpful, open and informative about my child's progress and the activities that the nursery was doing.

Rosewood is a real gem of a nursery. The combined philosophies of Montessori, the forest school and the early year's framework have had a really positive impact on my son. He enjoys the opportunity to be creative and loves the wide range of activities. Possibly due to the restrictions of Covid, I noticed that he sometimes had difficulties playing with other children. The staff at Rosewood have been skilful in helping him understand how to initiate play with other children and how to manage difficult feelings when things go wrong. After just one week at Rosewood my son had a much more successful playdate and I felt he had really turned a corner. The staff have understood how to help him build self-esteem and he can't wait to go back there every day. The manager is an exceptional leader who has extensive knowledge of child development and a rare background in family therapy. She is a real goldmine for parents looking to help their child navigate the challenges of daily life.
