When we first walked into Woodlands we loved the cosy and creative feel. There are hand-drawn pictures for book week, photos of littles & their families, art projects on every wall and clear communication around their priorities and practices. The first impression was of a team who deeply, deeply
cared about children's outcomes & wanted to create a community/ collaborative feel. Having now joined I can say that solid first impression has just gotten better and better. The staff are so kind, warm and caring (to both kids and parents), the policies are sound, the attention to detail around diet, sleep, changing and play is second to none. It is the kind of nursery that you hope for and (after touring several others) aren't sure exists. We absolutely love Woodlands, feel enormously grateful to staff & highly recommend it to other parents.

I love the stuff, everyone is very nice and helpful. I just would like to have more details of what is served to the kids, as my little one is 1 and a half, and his diet is changing so much, it would help me to have a better view of what he accepts and what not, the amount, the type of diet etc... but
at this point most of my expectations were achieved!

My son has settled in really nicely to the nursery. that staff are really lovely and have supported my child and us parents through this new transition of being at nursery.
my child always looks so happy in the pictures on the app everyday. it makes being away from him easier when i get to see that
he is having such a great time.
the only downside to the nursery is that the actual setting itself looks old and run down.
i have noticed holes in walls and stained ceiling panels and in general looking a bit out dated.
but the service provided by the staff is very professional and you can see that they work really hard to ensure the children are safe, happy and healthy.

My 15 month old has been here for a few months now and loves it here. Staff are all brilliant. The updates on the app are really reassuring along with the pictures to see how she's getting on.
Her eating has also come on so well.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found this nursery. Every single member of staff has been consistently understanding, kind, thoughtful and patient, especially during a period when our daughter was recovering and needed a little extra care and flexibility. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble and
we were always met with warmth, reassurance and genuine empathy.


The environment itself feels truly homely, safe and happy. There is a calm, caring atmosphere that immediately puts both children and parents at ease. Knowing our daughter is somewhere she is cared for so attentively has made a huge difference to us as a family. We could not recommend this nursery more highly.

We absolutely love this nursery! From the very first visit, the staff made us feel so welcome and reassured. Our child has grown in confidence, independence, and social skills since starting here. The carers are kind, attentive, and genuinely care about each child's development and happiness.
The environment
is clean, safe, and filled with engaging activities. We're always updated with daily reports, photos, and progress, which gives us peace of mind. The team does a fantastic job encouraging learning through play, and our child is excited to go every day.

The standard of nursery, and calibre of workers recruited has noticeably decreased since the "family first " takeover. The nice garden and hut/climbing frame has been replaced with a corporate style rather than something my son enjoys. The AstroTurf is a good idea.

Tiny Tots has provided a wonderful environment for our son to flourish. The staff are friendly and genuinely care about the children under their supervision. Our son refers to them all as his best friends and has built a great relationship with them since starting in the baby room through to preschool.
We can also see how going to nursery has supported his learning and development, especially when it comes to his language and social skills.

I'm happy to chose this nursery for my child, wonderful staff, attentive and involved in my child's needs, he did not speak or understand English very well and I can say that for a year since he has been part of this team, he speaks, understands English, is happy to participate in all the activities
prepared by the staff, learns and discovers new things every day! Great job and thank you for everything!

The staff and teachers are all wonderful and my children are both very happy at Cherrywood. They are cared for beautifully with fun, engaging and stimulating activities and always come home happy. It is a very social nursery and puts on lovely events for all the families to enjoy and meet each other.
