our daughter is having a great time- very friendly and personable staff, plenty of facilities to learn and play with and seems to love the food.
have noticed how much she has developed in just 3 months with others and it's nice to see her enjoying going in every morning

My son has been at Orchard for almost 2 years and is thriving there. The staff are attentive and caring and provide a range of activities for the children as part of their education. They are approachable for any questions or issues. We particularly appreciate the meals made in house, which my son enjoys.
Our older child had a great time at Orchard from age 1 to leaving for school and it was an easy decision to come back to Orchard for the younger one.

My daughter started at the Orchard Day Nursery just before she turned 1 and during the last 11 months she has settled in very well. The staff have been accommodating to her CMPA allergy and provide daily updates on meals eaten, nappies changed and naps taken throughout the day on the app.
The staff
are very attentive and provide a range of activities for the children inside and out in the garden.
I particularly like the open plan setting and kitchen giving it a home like feeling. Nappies are changed frequently in an open space.
Food is cooked fresh daily and provide a range of foods and fruits.
Photos are shared with parents in a newsletter each week.
My daughter looks forward to going to nursery which is reassuring that she is happy and taken care of. Thank you to all the staff. They are wonderful.

We have two children that attend and we are very pleased to have our children at the Orchard. A few noteworthy things that we feel differentiates this nursery (1) opening hours enable much greater flexibility for working parents (2) the carers help to raise well rounded children, preparing them for
school and also teaching behaviours, manners and some practical things about life (3) they care and give helpful guidance of things we can do at home to support our child's development.


Overall, our children are happy and we're really pleased to see how much they have developed (ahead of our expectations).


Overall very pleased with everything, slightly reduced rating for 'management' due to some small invoicing corrections that took longer to resolve than I would have liked.

My son absolutely loves attending The Orchard - we started in September and the staff clearly care for him and are so supportive of his development. He's come on a lot more with skills like his movement and language since starting and the updates on Fridays on the app are lovely. It's so nice to see
the activities he's been up to during his time there (3 days a week).


We definitely feel we made the right choice - our boy is so happy there!

Our daughter has been attending the nursery for around eight months now, and we couldn't be happier with her progress. From those early days of settling in to now confidently walking in on her own, it's clear she feels happy, secure, and excited to be there. She has thrived, becoming more independent,
curious, and confident in herself.
We've seen so much positive development in her during this time, and we know this is thanks to the warm, caring, and dedicated staff who make the nursery such a nurturing environment. Our daughter attends five days a week and always goes in with a smile, which says it all. We're truly grateful for the support, kindness, and encouragement she receives every day.

Having moved around and experienced several nursery settings for both of my children, The Orchard Day Nursery has been the very best. Now that my youngest has graduated, I'll truly miss the warm smiles that welcomed us every morning. She has been so happy here, learned so much, and grown into an amazingly
independent little girl. The variety of activities - from Teddy Tennis and Theater Bugs to Spanish lessons and outings - are meaningful and enriching. The staff are wonderful, caring, and clearly love the children. There's little turnover, which brings great consistency and comfort. The manager is exceptional - working tirelessly and always going above and beyond to give the children the best start in life. Orchard also makes a real effort to involve parents - inviting us in for special events, celebrations and shared experiences. My daughter has thrived here and is more than ready for school. I couldn't recommend Orchard Day Nursery more highly!!

Both our children have been to Orchard and we have been so happy with their care. The staff are warm and caring and the turnover is very low. The manager is organised with great communication with parents and is very dedicated to the nursery and the children. Since she started at the nursery it has
gone from strength to strength including the introduction of various events where parents can spend some time in the nursery. There are lots of enriching activities with external teachers. I love that they celebrate important events from different cultures. Both our children have learnt to recognise and write letters and numbers very early and they have great reading facilities and foster a love of stories. The outside space is nice and big compared to many other local nurseries. The food is cooked freshly on site and is varied with different cuisines. They use the app well to keep parents updated throughout the day. Our daughter runs in happily every day. We will miss Orchard!

We couldn't be happier with the care this nursery provides for our children, and that's largely thanks to the wonderful staff. The team is nurturing and genuinely committed to knowing every child. They're always friendly, and the support they offer is reflected in the incredible progress our children
are making. The nursery is very well managed, with strong, positive relationships between staff and all team members involved directly in caring for the children. It's also flexible and accommodating of our family's needs. We receive regular updates via the app, with observations linked to the The Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, and keyworker meetings are insightful and reflect the strong bonds staff have with the children. Children's achievements are celebrated-whether with a sticker, Star of the Week, or a lovely graduation-creating a real sense of pride and community. Extracurriculars like Spanish, Theatre Bugs, and tennis are great, and the garden is used daily. We feel so lucky to have found this nursery

We could not recommend this nursery highly enough. Our 3 children have all attended and we are impressed every day by the dedication, kindness and support of all of the staff. The nursery manager, goes above and beyond to ensure the children have a variety of stimulating activities and is always looking
for ways to improve the nursery. The nursery is a friendly, welcoming and supportive environment, and the staff all seem so happy and work together as a fantastic team.


The children enjoy different sessions such as theatre bugs, Spanish lessons and tennis, and a huge effort goes into recognising different occasions throughout the year. Any concerns are always dealt with quickly, and our son had extra support with his speech and language from the nursery. We are so grateful to all the staff.

Our overall experience of The Orchard Day Nursery has been very positive, with their warm home from home care and nurturing environment. The staff and management have been very approachable and extremely supportive of my child's needs, abilities and emotional development, which have been the primary

We couldn't be happier with our experience at The Orchard! It's a truly nurturing environment where each child is cared for with genuine warmth and attention.


The staff are incredibly supportive, kind, and attentive - always going the extra mile to ensure the children feel safe, happy, and confident.

The preschool curriculum is thoughtfully designed, blending fun with foundational learning in a way that really prepares them for school, while still letting them enjoy being little.


We also love how communication with parents is open and consistent, making us feel like true partners in our child's early education.


The nursery also offers a wide range of activities, from Theatre Bugs to Teddy Tennis to the Spanish classes, which our child really enjoys!


Another highlight for us has been the healthy, freshly cooked meals provided each day.

We have enjoyed sending our 2 girls to this nursery for several years and been so pleased with our choice. The staff are ever so kind and creative with the activities they run for the children. The on-site kitchen and chef is designed to inspire a good relationship with food and we have been very impressed
with the varied selection of hot, healthy food and snacks that are provided. They provide several events for parents and care givers to attend through the year and we very much enjoyed the recent graduation ceremony for our eldest daughter. Our youngest also has some health conditions which the staff have been especially careful with and for which we were very grateful. Our children get up to all sorts of messy play, sandpits, garden time and learning skills like tennis, Spanish, theatre, phonics, play time with a mixture of toys and waterplay. They are always looking at ways to improve the environment and upgraded their garden during our time there, the extended hours are helpful too

My twin boys have been attending Orchard Day Nursery for almost 3 years. They both really enjoy going to nursery and run in happily each morning! The nursery has good facilities with a lovely outside space and a large open plan setting. The best thing about this nursery is the incredible staff. They
are really friendly, caring and nurturing and have helped my boys develop and thrive. They also keep parents well informed of children's development and progress, which is really helpful. I'm so glad I chose Orchard Day Nursery as we've had an amazing experience and will be sad to leave once my boys start reception.

My two daughters went to The Orchard Day Nursery. They have been both very happy there thanks to the amazing staff working at the nursery. They always went above and beyond to make the kids happy. The kids were involved in so many different activities, never a boring day! We also loved the open-plan

My child loves going to nursery at Orchard Day. They have developed and progressed significantly developing their gross and fine motor skills significantly. Their social skills and talking have also improved with structured development on both. They are a very independent and happy child and feel comfortable
with all of the staff there. They enjoy all of the food and we appreciate the catering to no or low sugar/salt options. The only improvement would be to keep driving even more communication with parents - we love to see photos/updates and developments and quick and timely updates around any issues or challenges.
