The Orchard Day Nursery Wimbledon

Our little one joined Orchard Day in August and we are so happy with our choice! He settled brilliantly, the staff were always so welcoming and supportive with him (and us!) which made the transition so much easier. The food choices they offer are amazing and it's great to see him eating so well there. He comes out smiling and we love seeing the fun things he's got up to on the weekly round ups. The staff are all delightful and you can tell they really care! Cannot recommend Orchard Day enough, we are so happy we chose it and can't wait for our little one to continue to explore and thrive under their care!

Most importantly, Orchard is a warm, happy place. Our children have always been excited to go in and have grown enormously in confidence, independence and curiosity. We will always be incredibly grateful to the wonderful team.

I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking for a positive experience for their child in their early years.

In addition to their fantastic outdoor play area, their communication is brilliant. We really enjoy receiving the daily updates and weekly summaries detailing exactly what the children have been up to. It is a fantastic nursery that we cannot recommend highly enough!

A lovely, fun and dynamic nursery. Staff are friendly, caring and communicative. Curriculum is varied with a focus on reading, physical development (tennis sessions) and language (Spanish lessons). Long opening hours are very helpful.

We put our son into Orchid Day Nursery at just 13 months old, and as I had never left him before, I was incredibly nervous. From the very beginning, the staff were so supportive, caring and accommodating, making the transition so much easier for both of us. They have always gone above and beyond to make sure he is happy, settled and well looked after.

Our son also has severe food allergies, and the chef is always so accommodating with his meals, which gives us complete peace of mind. Orchid has become so much more than a nursery to us - it genuinely feels like his second family. We couldn't be happier with the care and love he receives there and would highly recommend them to any parent.

My child has been attending this settling for some times now, my overall experience has been great, my child loves going in to nursery and is excited everyday, my child always comes home happy and telling me about the people who they have played with for the day

My husband and I are thoroughly impressed with the level of care Orchard Day Nursery have provided for both of our sons. All staff go above and beyond our expectations and regularly communicate with us on the profess of our sons. The nursery embraced different cultures and incorporates these into the curriculum and menu. Our sons are thriving in this environment and like attending this nursery.

We've had such a lovely experience with this nursery. Our child is always happy and excited to go, which says everything. The range of activities is fantastic and really supports their development while keeping things fun and engaging. They also have a great garden, which our child enjoys a lot and spends plenty of happy time exploring. The staff are incredibly attentive and caring, and we always feel confident our child is in safe hands. Communication has been excellent too - we're kept well informed and involved, including development reviews every 6 months, which we really appreciate. Highly recommend!

Our son has been at Orchard Nursery for a year. He is having a genuinely lovely experience, and comes home smiling every day. The staff are caring, respond promptly to questions and requests, offer a wide range of activities to support my son' s development and provide helpful feedback on how he is progressing. My son has been at Orchard for almost 2 years and is thriving there. The staff are attentive and caring and provide a range of activities for the children as part of their education. They are approachable for any questions or issues. We particularly appreciate the meals made in house, which my son enjoys. Our older child had a great time at Orchard from age 1 to leaving for school and it was an easy decision to come back to Orchard for the younger one.

We have two children that attend and we are very pleased to have our children at the Orchard. A few noteworthy things that we feel differentiates this nursery (1) opening hours enable much greater flexibility for working parents (2) the carers help to raise well rounded children, preparing them for school and also teaching behaviours, manners and some practical things about life (3) they care and give helpful guidance of things we can do at home to support our child's development.

Overall, our children are happy and we're really pleased to see how much they have developed (ahead of our expectations).

Overall very pleased with everything, slightly reduced rating for 'management' due to some small invoicing corrections that took longer to resolve than I would have liked.

My son absolutely loves attending The Orchard - we started in September and the staff clearly care for him and are so supportive of his development. He's come on a lot more with skills like his movement and language since starting and the updates on Fridays on the app are lovely. It's so nice to see the activities he's been up to during his time there (3 days a week).

We've seen so much positive development in her during this time, and we know this is thanks to the warm, caring, and dedicated staff who make the nursery such a nurturing environment. Our daughter attends five days a week and always goes in with a smile, which says it all. We're truly grateful for the support, kindness, and encouragement she receives every day.

This nursery is absolutely amazing and I would recommend it to anyone. Staff is friendly and very supportive, activities are great and food is healthy. The overall feeling is very positive and my daughter gained incredible confidence in her years at the Orchard Day Nursery.

Having moved around and experienced several nursery settings for both of my children, The Orchard Day Nursery has been the very best. Now that my youngest has graduated, I'll truly miss the warm smiles that welcomed us every morning. She has been so happy here, learned so much, and grown into an amazingly independent little girl. The variety of activities - from Teddy Tennis and Theater Bugs to Spanish lessons and outings - are meaningful and enriching. The staff are wonderful, caring, and clearly love the children. There's little turnover, which brings great consistency and comfort. The manager is exceptional - working tirelessly and always going above and beyond to give the children the best start in life. Orchard also makes a real effort to involve parents - inviting us in for special events, celebrations and shared experiences. My daughter has thrived here and is more than ready for school. I couldn't recommend Orchard Day Nursery more highly!!

Both our children have been to Orchard and we have been so happy with their care. The staff are warm and caring and the turnover is very low. The manager is organised with great communication with parents and is very dedicated to the nursery and the children. Since she started at the nursery it has gone from strength to strength including the introduction of various events where parents can spend some time in the nursery. There are lots of enriching activities with external teachers. I love that they celebrate important events from different cultures. Both our children have learnt to recognise and write letters and numbers very early and they have great reading facilities and foster a love of stories. The outside space is nice and big compared to many other local nurseries. The food is cooked freshly on site and is varied with different cuisines. They use the app well to keep parents updated throughout the day. Our daughter runs in happily every day. We will miss Orchard!
