Amazing first month at nursery. Our little one settled well with the help of staff who are very kind!
The chef has made a huge effort catering for our vegan diet too, which has made the first few weeks super easy on us and the little one.
Highly recommended!

Our daughter has attended Corner House for four months, from ages 11-15 months, so far. We have been blown away by how fantastic all the Corner House nursery staff have been. The atmosphere is really warm and every staff member makes an effort to bond with the children.
The communication is excellent
through the app and the transition to nursery, and then again to the toddler room, has been handled really sensitively.
We are really impressed by the facilities and activities the children are exposed to. The quality of the food and teaching is really high. Our daughter loves going to nursery and we feel so reassured and confident, as parents, that she is in the best care.
Reply from Jackie hammond, Manager at Corner House Day NurseryThank you so much for this lovely review, we are delighted that your experience has been so positive and we look forward to working closely with you in partnership over the coming years.

I would highly recommend this nursery. The indoor space is beautiful - light, airy and modern and always clean and tidy. Many different toys and learning materials for the children. Food is very healthy. We receive photos and updates from the app which is helpful as a new parent.
What I have been
most impressed with though are the positive, compassionate and caring staff, to whom we are very grateful for helping our sensitive son settle in his first nursery. The fantastic managers always make time to talk to us about any queries and find solutions and are excellent communicators also. Our son absolutely loves his key worker too and has started to talk about staff members whilst at home. We feel that he is loved for the individual that he is and that makes us feel reassured. Thank you Orchard!

Our 3 year old has been at Orchard for about 6 months and our 1 year old for about 3 months. Both girls have settled amazingly and love going in every day. The hours offered (7am-7pm) are very generous and even though we tend to do 8am-6pm, that extra flexibility is so useful as we both work in Central
London. The staff are very friendly, kind and communicative and the facilities are excellent as everything is brand new and modern. The girls get a good variety of meals and there have also been various parties put on to celebrate events throughout the year (eg Christmas, Halloween, Mardi Gras, Chinese New Year etc.), where the staff make a huge effort and bring out special food and entertainment (eg outside entertainers, Santa Claus, face painting etc). The kids have also been out to Bushy Park, the library and supermarket which is sweet. The garden at the front has just been built too and the children seem to go outside every day. We're very happy with Orchard and grateful to the staff

Our 4 year-old son has been at The Study for 18 months and is very happy there, and our baby has just joined too! The staff are of a high standard and are very caring to the kids and friendly to the families. The nursery is fortunate to have low turnover so we have got to know each other well.
Lots
of work is being done by the team to make more of the wonderful site they have - there's a large playground and plenty of indoor space which gives children the chance to move between different environments. Extra curricular activities like PE, Spanish and Music are a big hit with our son and one of the reasons we chose The Study.
There is still some work to be done to make the nursery even better, but the team is making progress all the time and are encouraging of parents giving feedback and suggestions which is great.

We are incredibly grateful to have found this nursery. From the very beginning, Saffron has been absolutely brilliant. Her warmth, professionalism and genuine care for the children is evident in everything she does.
The team have gone above and beyond to help our son settle in. They arranged dedicated
sessions with us to fully understand his individual needs, routines and personality, and have guided us at every step of the way. That level of partnership and open communication has made a significant difference. At his previous nursery he struggled to adjust, but here the staff have shown patience, consistency and real understanding.
Although there are still occasional tears at drop-off, we can clearly see how much more comfortable and confident he has become. Most importantly, he is thriving, engaging in activities, building relationships and growing in independence. We feel reassured every day knowing he is in such capable and caring hands.
Reply from Saffron Blevin, Nursery manager at The Orchard Day Nursery, Kingston (formerly Park Hill School & Nursery)Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed review of the nursery. We are proud of our team members and how they each get to know each child and their needs to help them thrive in our care. It has been a joy watching your son develop his confidence and engage in activities and develop his relationships either others. We will continue to develop our partnership with parents to enable each child to grow and thrive during their time with us.

My son joined in September from another nursery. I was apprehensive about how he'll settle in as he was at his previous nursery for 2 years.
My son cried at drop off for about 3 days (max) and he settled in very quickly.
The staff are absolutely brilliant. All are very attentive to each child's
need, genuinely caring and my son loves the cuddles he receives to welcome him at drop off from staff.
I couldn't be happier and the team work really well together, which I believe is also important.
We haven't been around for summer but I'm sure they'll do activities out of the nursery.

My son loves everything about the Nursery. He previously attended another nursery and I can only see positive changes on him. His behaviour changed, as well as his mood. There's nothing better than picking up a happy child at the end of the day, not a crying one. All the facilities are brand new, they
are all clean and kept tidy. At the Orchard Day Nursery Hampton, we received value for our money and a high quality service. I'm not nervous during the day, because I know he is in safe hands. Communication is great at the Nursery. I always know about everything. We've attended multiple events with other parents. We all had fun! These events make a real difference. Absolutely content with everything! Thank you

We are so happy with GPP. Our Son joined in September and didn't settle too easily, but the staff were fantastic. They really made him, and us as parents feel comfortable, and he soon settled. Now he absolutely loves his days at nursery. We can see him thriving in many areas. Most importantly to us,
he goes in happy and smiling, and comes out happy and smiling. Thanks to all the staff at GPP nursery.

My daughter has attended WHS Nursery since 2023, and the difference compared to our previous nursery has been remarkable. After experiencing genuine concerns elsewhere, it has been a relief and a joy to watch my daughter truly flourish here. Her confidence, wellbeing, and personal development have grown
enormously, which I strongly attribute to the caring, attentive, and hardworking staff.
WHS Nursery offers an excellent range of enriching activities, including dance, forest school, French, sports, and music, alongside community visits to the local library and an annual Christmas visit to the local nursing home. Maths and phonics are thoughtfully woven into the curriculum through play-based learning, making education both engaging and effective. We have 2 annual parent/staff meetings and if any issues arise in-between we're encouraged to get in touch. I couldn't be happier with our choice and I would highly recommend the nursery to parents seeking a new nursery.
Reply from Michelle Kimberley, Manager at Westbury House NurseryThank you for your review and comments. It is lovely being part of the school community where we can access a broad range of additional Professional support, enhancing our curriculum and opportunities for all children who attend.

Incredible nursery. The staff team are all highly skilled and lovely to deal with. They provide exactly the right balance of care and learning and are clearly passionate about what they do. There's is a rich early years curriculum which clearly benefits from being attached to the school, including gymnastics,
multisports, music, French and forest school. Plus dance for a small extra fee. The communication is also excellent and any concerns are dealt with promptly. My son was incredibly well prepared for starting school and my daughter loves going in every day.
Reply from Michelle Kimberley, Manager at Westbury House NurseryThank you for your review. We aim to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for all of the children and their families. We are a dedicated and hard working team who are committed to ensuring that we provide high quality education along with positive parent partnership.

Things this nursery does well:
1) instilling good, kind values e.g. sharing, caring and empathy
2) encouraging creativity and confidence
3) teaching respect for rules and order
4) teaching good manners, polite communication, importance of turn taking.
Things this nursery doesn't do well:
1)
meals don't meet needs of special diets though lots of fresh fruit
2) outdoor space is very limited and, after repeated postponement, forest school has failed to launch this term at all
3) management is disorganised (miscalculated fees, delayed replies to email, cancelled appointments at late notice)
4) my child spent an afternoon with their own faeces visibly smeared on the outside of their trousers and on their white socks and shoes. I saw and smelt it immediately upon pick up but staff hadn't notice it. //
I find it strange that parents aren't
allowed into the nursery but have to drop off/pick up at the main door. I would like to see the everyday environment my child spends their time in.
Reply from Michelle Kimberley, Manager at Westbury House NurseryThank you for taking the time to send us the review of your experience. We take all feedback very seriously and apologise that you feel this way and you have had a negative experience. Our aim is to provide the best possible environment for all children. We take pride in our nurturing and educational setting within a small Prep School. The site is suitable for the capacity of the Nursery and School, of which would have been seen during the enrolment and tour process. We are fortunate to have an on site Chef and catering team who meet the EY nutritional guidelines and are reviewed termly with the Parent Committee, the menus are available and shared with all families during the enrolment process. We don't have a record of any formal complaints made by yourself, I would be very happy to arrange a meeting with myself and the Senior Leadership Team to further discuss. Thank you again for your time.

Since joining the nursery, my daughter has absolutely thrived, and I couldn't be happier with the care and attention she receives. What stands out the most is how genuinely the staff understand and respond to her individual needs. They take the time to get to know her personality, her strengths, and
the areas where she needs a little extra support
Reply from Saffron Blevin, Nursery manager at The Orchard Day Nursery, Kingston (formerly Park Hill School & Nursery)Thank you for taking the time to complete this review, we take pride in getting to know the children as individuals and take the time to understand what they need to allow them to develop across all areas of the curriculum. My granddaughter loves going to nursery! She learns so much and is constantly challenged with the activities available for her. She loves the adults that work with her. She is encouraged to be polite, caring and kind.

We have been nothing but impressed by the organisation, engagement and overall care from the staff to our daughter at The Study Nursery. Since transitioning from a school with a nursery to a dedicated nursery the space available to the children both in the classroom as well as outside is second to none.
I would highly recommend this nursery.

My son has been at Orchard for almost 2 years and is thriving there. The staff are attentive and caring and provide a range of activities for the children as part of their education. They are approachable for any questions or issues. We particularly appreciate the meals made in house, which my son enjoys.

My daughter started at the Orchard Day Nursery just before she turned 1 and during the last 11 months she has settled in very well. The staff have been accommodating to her CMPA allergy and provide daily updates on meals eaten, nappies changed and naps taken throughout the day on the app.
The staff
are very attentive and provide a range of activities for the children inside and out in the garden.
I particularly like the open plan setting and kitchen giving it a home like feeling. Nappies are changed frequently in an open space.
Food is cooked fresh daily and provide a range of foods and fruits.
Photos are shared with parents in a newsletter each week.
My daughter looks forward to going to nursery which is reassuring that she is happy and taken care of. Thank you to all the staff. They are wonderful.

We have two children that attend and we are very pleased to have our children at the Orchard. A few noteworthy things that we feel differentiates this nursery (1) opening hours enable much greater flexibility for working parents (2) the carers help to raise well rounded children, preparing them for
school and also teaching behaviours, manners and some practical things about life (3) they care and give helpful guidance of things we can do at home to support our child's development.
Overall, our children are happy and we're really pleased to see how much they have developed (ahead of our expectations).
Overall very pleased with everything, slightly reduced rating for 'management' due to some small invoicing corrections that took longer to resolve than I would have liked.
