Gidea Park Preparatory School and Nursery

My son has attended the pre-school for two years and I cannot fault the staff. They have been so attentive to him and his interests and have gone above and beyond support his learning and growth. It can be nerve-wracking choosing a facility for your child, but I feel the genuine care and love the staff have for him and that gives us such a peace of mind.

We haven't been around for summer but I'm sure they'll do activities out of the nursery.

We are so happy with GPP. Our Son joined in September and didn't settle too easily, but the staff were fantastic. They really made him, and us as parents feel comfortable, and he soon settled. Now he absolutely loves his days at nursery. We can see him thriving in many areas. Most importantly to us, he goes in happy and smiling, and comes out happy and smiling. Thanks to all the staff at GPP nursery.

The nursery feels like part of the wider school, which makes the move into Reception really smooth. There's a great mix of creative play, early learning, and lovely extras like music and drama. Meals are freshly cooked on site by their own chef and included in the fees-plus the flexible wraparound care has been a huge help for us as working parents. A brilliant start to their school journey.

My son joined the toddler room in September 2023 and the staff have always gone above and beyond in helping him settle and ensuring he enjoys his day. My son always comes out smiling eager to tell me about his day. He is now in the preschool room and the teachers especially one member of staff in particular have gone beyond what I had hoped to help him settle in and ensure he participates in different activities. It has been wonderful to see him grow so much since his time at Gidea Park Prep.

Fantastic nursery with great facilities. Staff are wonderful and caring and our daughter has loved it. As the nursery is linked to a school, our daughter has learned and developed beyond our expectations.

The class is well-balanced and the kids get involved in a variety of activities throughout the day.

My daughter has just started at the nursery and so far, I couldn’t fault it. From initial enquiry communication and information, to settle in days and now the care she receives whilst there two days a week, everything has been fantastic. Staff are warm and friendly and provide a caring environment for children to learn and play in. The communication app used by staff is excellent and gives a daily insight into what the children have been doing, have eaten, length of naps etc, with pictures, which is very reassuring.

My child has been attending Gidea Park Nursery since they turned 2 and has settled so well. She is developing so many skills and meeting many milestones which I know is due to the approach the nursery take with the children and how comfortable she feels whilst at the setting.

My three-year-old son joined Gidea Park Nursery in January 2024 when we moved to the area. I have been thoroughly impressed by the facilities and staff and my son has settled in smoothly as a result. The regular reports show his development progress and the staff really care about his wellbeing and learnings. I would highly recommend this nursery and looking forward to him starting reception in September 2024!

My son started in Jan 2024. It took him some time to settle. The staff were and remain compassionate, kind, caring, knowledgeable and approachable. My son now loves attending. I am extremely grateful that we have been able to find such a great nursery.

My child has just started nursery in March. He has seemed to settle in well and enjoys his day at nursery. The staff are very friendly and support me with any concerns I may have. Overall happy with my experience.

My little two year old boy joined Toddlers at the end of October and attends five mornings per week. It didn’t take him long to settle in as the staff were so nice and welcoming. He’s been there a few months now and I can see he’s really thriving. He loves all the teachers and support staff. I feel so reassured knowing that when I drop him in he’s going to have a great time learning and playing with the other toddlers. They really care about his development too and hold regular review meetings to see if there are any issues that he needs help with. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough!

My daughter loves her nursery and is excited to attend each day. The staff are lovely and caring and work hard with the children to develop their skills and learning. The nursery staff try to identify opportunities for additional learning when children display an aptitude for it which is fantastic as it keeps children engaged and challenged. The nursery and pre-school rooms have recently been refurbished and the school is investing resources in improving the facilities. Overall we are happy with Gidea Park Prep Nursery and are delighted to see our daughter thriving in the environment and around her peers and teachers.

Amazing staff with so much heart and a caring mindset. It's wonderful seeing our daughter get excited about going to daycare here. The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualised way. The management are really committed to providing a safe, fun and loving environment and we are very thankful to the whole team!

The preschool children sometimes mix with the under three (baby room) class and some activities are combined with the reception class - both excellent experiences for her social and emotional development and preparing her for reception in 2024.
