The Orchard Day Nursery Hampton

Our daughter started at the Orchard nursery in March and we couldn't be happier with how she's doing.

The staff are incredible and go above and beyond with a great range of activities and menu options at meal time! The app is also kept regularly updated through the day with meals, naps etc which is a big reassurance when they first start.

When she started our daughter was extremely nervous around strangers but within weeks of starting nursery we noticed a change and now she's like a different person. She goes in smiling and comes out smiling which is all you want as a parent!

We couldn't be happier with the care he receives and feel incredibly lucky to have found such a warm, friendly and nurturing environment for our son.

Overall, I can't rate them highly enough!

He is always so happy when we pick him up from nursery, and it is clear how much he enjoys his time there. He absolutely loves all the staff, especially Sarah, who has a very special place in his heart.

Our child loves attending nursery here! They joined in October 2025 and was quickly made to feel at home, with thoughtful and personal touches to help them settle. The food is cooked in house and is a rich, varied menu. The children often go out for trips in the local area and it has been particularly lovely for them to go to local shops to buy food which they then cook.

Our daughter attended Orchard Day Nursery five days a week for the 12 months before starting primary school, and she loved every minute of it. She thrived there, learned so much, and made some wonderful friends who helped make her time at nursery so special. The nursery itself is modern, spotless, and has a fantastic outdoor area with plenty of games and activities to keep the children engaged and happy. We also loved receiving the regular photo updates through the app, which gave us great insight into her day and all the fun activities she was enjoying. The staff are excellent. They are kind, warm, and nurturing, and they always took the time to chat with us about our daughter's day and development. We are incredibly grateful for the care and support they gave our daughter, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Orchard Nursery to other parents.

What I have been most impressed with though are the positive, compassionate and caring staff, to whom we are very grateful for helping our sensitive son settle in his first nursery. The fantastic managers always make time to talk to us about any queries and find solutions and are excellent communicators also. Our son absolutely loves his key worker too and has started to talk about staff members whilst at home. We feel that he is loved for the individual that he is and that makes us feel reassured. Our 3 year old has been at Orchard for about 6 months and our 1 year old for about 3 months. Both girls have settled amazingly and love going in every day. The hours offered (7am-7pm) are very generous and even though we tend to do 8am-6pm, that extra flexibility is so useful as we both work in Central London. The staff are very friendly, kind and communicative and the facilities are excellent as everything is brand new and modern. The girls get a good variety of meals and there have also been various parties put on to celebrate events throughout the year (eg Christmas, Halloween, Mardi Gras, Chinese New Year etc.), where the staff make a huge effort and bring out special food and entertainment (eg outside entertainers, Santa Claus, face painting etc). The kids have also been out to Bushy Park, the library and supermarket which is sweet. The garden at the front has just been built too and the children seem to go outside every day. We're very happy with Orchard and grateful to the staff

My son loves everything about the Nursery. He previously attended another nursery and I can only see positive changes on him. His behaviour changed, as well as his mood. There's nothing better than picking up a happy child at the end of the day, not a crying one. All the facilities are brand new, they are all clean and kept tidy. At the Orchard Day Nursery Hampton, we received value for our money and a high quality service. I'm not nervous during the day, because I know he is in safe hands. Communication is great at the Nursery. I always know about everything. We've attended multiple events with other parents. We all had fun! These events make a real difference. Our son attends 5 days a week in the baby room and settled quickly. There were tears at first but they only lasted 2 weeks. The staff were great at comforting him and he built a rapport with them quickly.

The manager and deputy manager both come across as experienced. They've hired quality permanent members of staff - all of whom we've been impressed with so far.

The indoor facilities are excellent - probably the best in the area. The outdoor space lets it down. There's only a small yard-like area, although there are plans to build an outdoor space at the front of the building. The older kids have been to the local park - it would be great if the younger ones could do something like that, especially considering the limited outdoor space.

Overall, the nursery is excellent and we're very happy with it. I trust the managers and strongly believe they do the best for my boy. In the mornings, when we say, 'Shall we go to nursery?' Our son replies, 'Yes!', with a huge smile on his face!

Our 2yo daughter moved to Orchard from another nursery which was closing. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, arranging the settling schedule to suit us, and they have all made an effort to get to know her and help her feel comfortable, tailoring their approach to her needs. It is a lovely setting with a big variety of toys and activities, and good food. Our daughter is very happy there and talks enthusiastically about her days there. Thank you!
