Walton Montessori offers a child-friendly environment for 4 month olds to five-year-olds, which follows the Montessori Philosophy of encouraging independent learning.

Each child has their own targets, which they work towards with support from qualified Early Years practitioners. At Walton Montessori Pre-School they also follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which is an early years curriculum for children from birth to five-years-old. Children are all assigned a key person and will be taught individually by all the motivated staff across both rooms.

Every member of staff is passionate about child development and work at Walton Montessori for the love of their profession. Staff try and instil a caring, stimulating environment where the children can feel happy and will naturally learn from their experiences. peers and adults.

Children's learning is individually tailored to what they are able to do and the team are constantly challenging the children's abilities, ensuring they are ready to move on to their next big step in learning when they transition to reception class at primary school.

Our child has been at Walton Montessori for almost two years now and has been thriving since day 1. The care taken towards settle in sessions were greatly appreciated when we first began our journey and that same level of care has been applied throughout our child's time at the nursery, including when
it comes to the dietary requirements. The staff are always approachable and make time to share a nice snippet of the child's day or something they did that was sweet/memorable, which has always been a nice touch. The thing we loved the most was how much time they spend outside at Walton Montessori. They have two nice outdoor areas including a forrest school and our child has enjoyed it thoroughly.

We are very happy with the care and attention our daughter receives at Walton Montessori. The teachers are kind, patient, and truly caring, which makes children feel safe and comfortable. The nursery environment is warm, welcoming, and well-organised, helping little ones settle in quickly. What we love
most is the focus on play-based learning and activities that encourage creativity, sharing, and confidence. The staff make sure children enjoy their day through songs, stories, games, and fun group activities. Our eldest has attended Montessori for the last 4 years and her sister has attended for the last 2 years so we have built up a comprehensive picture of the nursery, staff and different rooms over the years from baby room and settling in at an early age through to preschool.The team of staff and managers
are excellent; they are very approachable and supportive and show a genuine interest in the individual children, their quirks, their friendship groups, toilet training etc! No matter how busy it is at drop off and pick up, the staff are friendly and willing to chat and debrief on the day's activities and how the children have eaten, slept, played etc. The activities are varied and well planned and they spend lots of time outdoors in the garden & forest school. Both our girls have been very happy here and developed some lovely friendships with the other children. Overall we have been really impressed and pleased with Montessori and would highly recommend it to other parents!

Both my children have been to Walton Montessori and both of them have had wonderful experiences that have set them up for their first few years at school.
We all love the team that work there and we have seen a number of staff come and go over the years but the culture and ethos have remained the
same and that is one where a nurturing and kind environment is fostered.

Walton Montessori is a fabulous early years setting right in the heart of Walton-on-Thames, both of my children have thrived here from babies right through to starting school.
The staff care deeply for the children and a real emphasis is placed upon emotional support and meeting each child's individual
needs.
We've been through everything from medical emergencies to potty training and I can't fault the professionalism or kindness of everyone involved.
The management team has been consistant throughout our time here which has provided great continuity within the setting. Management knows each child so well and as a family we'll miss them both dearly.

Our eldest joined Oak class just before she turned 3. She really enjoys it and has made lots of friends! Our youngest joined baby room when she was around 14 months and they both walk in together without looking back! :) Both our girls are very happy at Montessori, wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We've had such a wonderful experience with this nursery.
Our daughter has been attending since she was 2, and it's been amazing to see how much she's grown-both socially and emotionally. She's made great friends and genuinely looks forward to going in. The staff are always warm, approachable, and really

Our daughters have been attending this nursery since January, and we have been really happy with the experience. We moved to the area recently and were a bit anxious about them changing nurseries, but the team made the transition incredibly smooth. The settling-in support was excellent, and we received
detailed reports during that period, which were really reassuring.
They settled quickly and have been going in happily every day since. We also like the weekly class updates and occasional individual observations, which often include lovely photos - it's a great way to stay involved with their day-to-day activities.
The nursery has a fantastic outdoor space and a warm, welcoming environment. We are sad that our kids will be leaving soon for reception, but we're very grateful for the positive experience they've had here. We would definitely recommend Walton Montessori nursery to other families.

The teachers and the management teams are all very well prepared and dynamic, but also able to provide a very caring and nurturing environment. Our child was 12 months old when he joined and has learnt a lot with them, and most importantly this nursery has been a happy place for him to go in the morning.

Both my daughter and son went to nursery here and have had a great experience. They settled really quickly and in every class they were in, the staff have all been amazing. The activities they do with the children are so varied, they have a big outdoor space and forest school and we were given regular
updates and observations on how they were doing. The staff are super attentive - so much so that they were the ones that picked up when my daughter wasn't breathing normally during her nap (which ended up with a hospital stay but caught early thanks to the staff being so caring and observant). Would 100% recommend it!

My son and daughter have both been extremely well looked after at Walton Montessori and we all feel part of the family. They have loads of fun in the big garden and forest school, and doing theatre bugs! My daughter has additional needs and staff have been very attentive and caring, making time to discuss
strategies often with myself and my partner, and have helped us so much in so many ways. We are so grateful, and so glad we found Walton Montessori. It really is a special place.
