Our child has been at Walton Montessori for almost two years now and has been thriving since day 1. The care taken towards settle in sessions were greatly appreciated when we first began our journey and that same level of care has been applied throughout our child's time at the nursery, including when
it comes to the dietary requirements. The staff are always approachable and make time to share a nice snippet of the child's day or something they did that was sweet/memorable, which has always been a nice touch. The thing we loved the most was how much time they spend outside at Walton Montessori. They have two nice outdoor areas including a forrest school and our child has enjoyed it thoroughly.

We are very happy with the care and attention our daughter receives at Walton Montessori. The teachers are kind, patient, and truly caring, which makes children feel safe and comfortable. The nursery environment is warm, welcoming, and well-organised, helping little ones settle in quickly. What we love
most is the focus on play-based learning and activities that encourage creativity, sharing, and confidence. The staff make sure children enjoy their day through songs, stories, games, and fun group activities. Hygiene and cleanliness are always well maintained, and communication with parents is regular and clear. Thank you to the wonderful team at Walton Montessori for your hard work and dedication. Our daughter is always excited to go to nursery, which is the best feedback a parent can ask for.

My son had the most supportive team of the most professional teachers. The Senior Leadership here have been second to none and I would wholeheartedly recommend this school. The care and nurture shown to both of my children has been extremely attentive but most of all an aspect my son particularly needed
to accommodate some special needs he had. The school were super-efficient and listened to all of our concerns and did not wait to fulfil all of his needs the first day he started here. My son would be staying here but he has been offered an assessment place for his speech and language, which is why I am changing his setting for intense therapy, but my son loves it here and will be sad to go. We had been in search for a school for a couple of years and by far Essendene has been a true blessing and gift for our children and surpassed our expectations. Both my children have developed rapidly in their speech & language and confidence here and I thank the amazing teachers and support staff.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Essendene. From the moment we joined, it was clear that the staff are not only highly qualified, but also genuinely passionate about early childhood education. The teachers go above and beyond to create a nurturing, stimulating, and supportive environment
where every child can thrive.

One of the standout features has been the structured approach to early learning, particularly in phonics. The preschool does a fantastic job preparing children for reception, ensuring they are confident and eager learners by the time they move on. It's incredibly reassuring to know our child is gaining such a strong educational foundation.

Communication is also a real strength of this preschool. We receive regular updates on our child's progress, activities, and even little day-to-day highlights, which really helps us feel connected and involved. It's clear that the staff take great care in making sure parents are well-informed and engaged.

Our daughter has always been cautious about change but she settled into Essendene after having been at another nursery for years prior very quickly. She has learned so much at the preschool. They do school trips and lots of great activities with the kids all centred around learning and education. We
have seen her progress leaps and bounds. We would highly recommend Essendene to anyone.

This nursery was not meeting my child's needs and deliberately delayed early intervention for almost a year despite several requests. In the end, the local council got involved and encouraged me to take my child out to a much better quality setting. Unfortunately, the delays were enabled by the SLT
and Head and then covered up so they are not honest or supportive. The nursery manager is not honest at all or caring and has an aggressive bullying streak and encouraged bullying against parents. I wouldn't recommend the early years setting at all to any parent under this nursery manager. The key workers however were always very caring and went above and beyond to the best of my knowledge. I believe the upper years have caring teachers but the nursery is just a business and operates separately to the primary years hence why they did not care at all about my child's needs which need to be flagged to OFSTED.

Our eldest has attended Montessori for the last 4 years and her sister has attended for the last 2 years so we have built up a comprehensive picture of the nursery, staff and different rooms over the years from baby room and settling in at an early age through to preschool. The team of staff and managers
are excellent; they are very approachable and supportive and show a genuine interest in the individual children, their quirks, their friendship groups, toilet training etc! No matter how busy it is at drop off and pick up, the staff are friendly and willing to chat and debrief on the day's activities and how the children have eaten, slept, played etc. The activities are varied and well planned and they spend lots of time outdoors in the garden & forest school. Both our girls have been very happy here and developed some lovely friendships with the other children. Overall we have been really impressed and pleased with Montessori and would highly recommend it to other parents!

Both my children have been to Walton Montessori and both of them have had wonderful experiences that have set them up for their first few years at school.
We all love the team that work there and we have seen a number of staff come and go over the years but the culture and ethos have remained the
same and that is one where a nurturing and kind environment is fostered.
We couldn't recommend it highly enough!

Walton Montessori is a fabulous early years setting right in the heart of Walton-on-Thames, both of my children have thrived here from babies right through to starting school.
The staff care deeply for the children and a real emphasis is placed upon emotional support and meeting each child's individual
needs.
We've been through everything from medical emergencies to potty training and I can't fault the professionalism or kindness of everyone involved.
The management team has been consistant throughout our time here which has provided great continuity within the setting. Management knows each child so well and as a family we'll miss them both dearly.

We've had such a wonderful experience with this nursery.
Our daughter has been attending since she was 2, and it's been amazing to see how much she's grown-both socially and emotionally. She's made great friends and genuinely looks forward to going in. The staff are always warm, approachable, and really
listen whenever you have a question or concern. The managers are just as involved and supportive. We've also loved getting updates and pictures through the app-it's such a lovely way to feel connected to her day. Couldn't recommend them more!

Our daughters have been attending this nursery since January, and we have been really happy with the experience. We moved to the area recently and were a bit anxious about them changing nurseries, but the team made the transition incredibly smooth. The settling-in support was excellent, and we received
detailed reports during that period, which were really reassuring.
They settled quickly and have been going in happily every day since. We also like the weekly class updates and occasional individual observations, which often include lovely photos - it's a great way to stay involved with their day-to-day activities.
The nursery has a fantastic outdoor space and a warm, welcoming environment. We are sad that our kids will be leaving soon for reception, but we're very grateful for the positive experience they've had here. We would definitely recommend Walton Montessori nursery to other families.

WPS has been a very positive experience for my child. The staff are kind, caring and intuitive. They listen to the need of parents and child and put support in place quickly and effectively. The preschool does an excellent job of preparing children for school - teaching them phonics, maths and rules
as well as embracing fun and enjoyment with forest walks and dancing. Very happy with our experience.

Warlingham park nursery is warm, welcoming and the staff are truly wonderful. My one year old daughter has settled so well. If there are days she's feeling off colour or upset the staff are brilliant. I leave knowing she will be cared for and within minutes I'm updated with happy, smiling pictures,
which is so reassuring before a day at work.
The activities are varied and stimulating. She eats and sleeps well throughout the day.
I can't recommend it highly enough.
I also have a daughter in Year 2 who also absolutely loves the school. As a family we call it the hidden gem in Warlingham!
