Pippins Day Nursery and Preschool

Pippins is such a special place and the staff are brilliant. The setting on the farm is amazing, especially Forest School and the woods and meadow. We feel so lucky our son is able to spend time there, supported by a kind, understanding team

My son only started Pippins on Monday but what I have experience so far is fantastic! All the staff are lovely and I am well informed of my son's day. I LOVE the app and all the updates I am getting. SUPER pleased my boy is with Pippins

Lovely nursery, great caring staff in the baby room who make an effort to put great activities on for the children. The outdoor area is also lovely. Lovely big light room. Would definitely recommend Pippins

We have been very happy with the care our daughter has had at Pippins. The staff are lovely and take great care of her. The setting and facilities are also beautiful. We always feel confident that she will have fun and be well looked after.

A fantastic nursery who go above and beyond to make the children’s experiences the best they can be. Our daughter has thrived since starting Pippins. The staff are all fantastic they leave great updates on the app and care for the children to the greatest level we could ask. Couldn’t recommend the setting enough to anyone looking for a nursery in the area.

Pippins Forest School Nursery has been a wonderful adventure for my toddler. He attends one day a week, and so to start he did naturally experience some sadness at the new experience. But each week I have been reassured by the staff as to how he is getting on. The staff advised me of some great suggestions for how I could help him adjust, and he looks forward to going each week now. The staff are caring and work with each child's different needs/personalities. I also like how the little ones are given autonomy wherever possible, which is so important. I would recommend Pippins Nursery based on my son's experience.

My daughter started Pippins in January and is loving it. The staff are kind, knowledgable and just amazing with the children. So glad we chose Pippins. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nursery in the area.

We have been delighted customers of Pippins, the team who care for our daughter and previously cared for our eldest daughter have genuinely felt like an extended part of our family. The environment is engaging, fun and nurturing.

I just love this nursery so much! We had a not so great experience in another setting and Pippins has really raised the bar to our expectations. My son is so happy there and, as a parent, I feel supported and that we are working together as a team for his development. As a parent, that's all we can ask. Baby Pippins staff are so loving and caring, always smiling and ready to give updates on my child's day and development. Forest school is one of the best settings I have ever seen and I love seeing my little one having so much fun with new adventures every day.

We're so happy we chose Pippins as the nursery for our little boy. The amazing staff have been so caring, gentle and in tune with him as his sensitive soul took a little while to settle. And the activities, the way they talk so positively and lovingly about all the children, the garden and the beautiful setting definitely make it the right choice for us. We feel so lucky to be part of the Pippins Community!

I do appreciate this Pippins nursery because of the high standards but more than that I appreciate the fact that if you have emergency they find a solution and a place in the classroom for your baby/toddler.

We really rate Pippins Day Nursery and Preschool. It has been great for both of our children, and they have absolutely loved the baby room, classroom and forest school. The staff are very caring and provide excellent feedback at the end of each day. The food is also brilliant, and both children really enjoy the variety, often going in for seconds or thirds!

We love Pippens. The children are happy, there is lots of variety for them, having both the Montessori and the forest school. The staff are kind and I feel confident in dropping both my children there 4 days a week. It’s very special.

My eldest went to Pippins Day Nursery and Preschool and I now have my 18-month-old there and he has been going since he was 10 months old. I can honestly say that every day I leave my son with his wonderful key worker. I have no doubts or worries about their care and know they’re giving him the best possible experience he could get in a nursery. He started off a bit nervous as he hadn’t been to many groups thanks to Covid, but he quickly settled in and has an amazing time. When I tell him in the morning it’s time to go to nursery, he runs to get his shoes and bag. I highly recommend them!

Would highly recommend Pippins Day Nursery and Preschool for both forest school and classroom. We are fortunate to be split between the two settings. Staff are extremely professional and attentive to the children. Very warm and welcoming. From the moment we first visited, we knew this was the nursery for us. My daughter loves it and doesn’t give us a backwards glance when we drop her off.

I couldn’t recommend a nursery more! Thank you for being so perfect. My boy came here and absolutely loved it! He grew a lot in his year at Pippins Day Nursery and Preschool. He made some fantastic memories that he’ll never forget! Every session was really different and towards his start of school, the girls really focused on his transition there. Which was fantastic! My little girl now attends here and they’ve been so patient and amazing with helping her settle in. She had settling in sessions until she was ready to start properly! They’ve made her feel so at home and happy there. Every time she comes home I hear about the amazing things she’s learnt that day. Or friends/staff she’s spent time with! From the classroom and down at the yurt. She loves going to both! If you want a perfectly picturesque nursery with incredible staff, then look no further! The classroom and Forest school is nothing short of incredible. The staff are beyond lovely and helpful! I really can’t recommend Pippins enough.
