I honestly can't recommend this nursery highly enough. From the very beginning, every member of staff has been so welcoming, caring and supportive, making both me and my son feel completely at ease.

My son absolutely loves attending and has grown so much in confidence since starting. It's wonderful to see how happy and excited he is to go each day, which speaks volumes about the nurturing environment the staff have created.

The team genuinely care about every child as an individual. They always keep me updated on his progress, celebrate his achievements, and provide such a wide range of fun and educational activities that have really helped his development.

The nursery is always clean, well organised and full of engaging resources, and it's clear that the children's happiness, safety and wellbeing are the top priority.

The Chef is very thorough and has ensured my sons dietary requirements are met and double checked with us. I would recommend this nursery to others. It is very good prep for pre schoolers to give them the right skills & environment to be school ready.

We will be leaving the nursery soon to attend school and I will be absolutely gutted to say goodbye to the nursery.

If you are considering sending your child/children to a nursery in or around Ollerton this is the one. I can't thank the staff enough for all of the time and effort they put into each and every child. My son absolutely loves it here and all of the lovely ladies that work here. And has made tremendous improvements and has made lots of little friends. The range of activities they do each day and the outdoor time (which is really important to my son) is fantastic! The feed back given after every session makes you feel like you haven't missed out on a minute of them during the day. They go above and beyond for everyone (kids and adults) and I can't thank them enough for putting all my worries and questions to rest. So if you are looking for the perfect setting to send your little one too, look no further.

Our son has been at the nursery for around 14 months, and we find the atmosphere is genuinely one that fosters great development and growth in general. They have recently invested in improved outdoor space, which is challenging given the fairly small footprint of the site. The location isn't ideal - Parking is always fraught and the entrance internally and externally is cluttered and narrow. The building also relies on natural ventilation so during recent hot weather they have struggled to safely stay open which is inconvenient and uncompensated. Updates are given regularly, although we do find some entries for food, sleep and nappies might not be entirely accurate. As first time parents we don't quite know what to expect with regards to minor injuries and incidents but staff don't always see how they happened. Important to stress that there have however been no serious incidents in our time there to our knowledge. Management is responsive and the majority of staff are very friendly.

I have had three children at Adderbury over the course of the past 9 years and I can honestly say it has been the best setting I could have wished for. A real home from home, with kind and caring staff who show dedication and commitment to each and every child. Staff get to know the children as individuals and support them to settle and thrive. The setting has engaging activities, and well considered continuous provision. The care given with medical issues and allergies is exceptional too, with dietary needs being catered for carefully. There have been so many exceptional members of staff and my children always adored the adults caring for them. Any issues raised have always been dealt with promptly. My children have always been so happy going in each day and it really has been like a second home for them all. Vi, the manager, is just super too. Couldn't recommend more - a perfect place to care for little ones.

My son, who has allergies and recently diagnosed autism, started here at 18 months. Having experienced another nursery previously, I can honestly say this one is exceptional. My daughter also attends and has thrived here since starting at 9 months. The care and attention they provide is outstanding. We have never had any concerns regarding my son's allergies, and the chef provides suitable alternatives so he can enjoy the same experiences without feeling left out. They support and accept him for who he is and always adapt their approach to meet his needs. With regards to his autism, they have shared valuable strategies that have helped both at nursery and at home. The staff are a real strength of the nursery. There is a good level of consistency within the team, which has helped both of my children build positive relationships and feel settled and supported in their environment.

The team are wonderful, and we're so grateful for the way they support her learning and development. We especially love the focus on nature, cooking, and arts and crafts, which gives her such a rich and well-rounded experience.

Best nursery ever. My daughter is thriving so much after being enrolled here. I know she is in the best hands and care. She loves her teachers and they love her. She is always happy coming to school and is always big smiles. Would recommend Ashbourne day nursery 100%

My daughter started Ashbourne 5 months ago. She absolutely loves going to nursery and her face lights up every morning when she sees the staff. Shes made fantastic progress in the short space of time that she's been there. I am so glad we chose Ashbourne!

Our little one loves preschool they are always doing fun activities and he comes back tired and happy. The meals are healthy and nutritious. Another good thing is they have a lovely garden full of many things to help our child develop and grow while having fun. Thankyou so much to ashborne day nursery in Ollerton.

Since my little boy started in 2025 he has loved every minute he has made friends and has come on leaps and bounds with his learning. The staff are absolutely wonderful and so caring. The setting of the nursery is lovely and very clean. Would highly recommend

Our little boy absolutely loves coming to Ashbourne! The staff are all so lovely, caring and attentive and it's clear they genuinely care about the children. Since starting he has come on so much with his confidence and overall development which has been lovely to see. We couldn't be happier with the care he receives and would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents.

We really appreciated the excellent communication with parents and the support our family received throughout his time at the nursery. As a family who moved to the UK from Ukraine, this kindness and understanding meant a great deal to us. Our son has grown in confidence, made lovely friendships, and developed many new skills thanks to the encouragement and patience of the team. My son has only been at the nursery for a month but his speech has come on phenomenally and the nursery has definitely aided to that massively. His imagination and creativity as well as his motor skills has also improved. The nursery have encouraged my child to eat new foods he wouldn't usually such as oranges. Absolute amazing staff they are all so kind and brilliant at keeping me up to date with what my child is up to at school.

My daughter goes to this nursery two days a week and she has progressed so well in her development since going. She comes home so happy and excited it's really pleasing. Myself and my wife think the staff are amazing and have built a really relationship with our daughter. The food is brilliant and monitored so well through the app we can see constant updates throughout the day.

My child has been attending Ashbourne for maybe 2 months now, the difference in my child from before he started to now is amazing, and that is down to the nursery and all the development and learning they have done with him. They involve us in everything and update us whilst he is at his sessions. I can't comment much on the food as he doesn't eat much there (through no fault of theirs) I'd highly recommend this nursery to anyone; the quiet, friendly, homely environment is why we chose it.
