From the moment my little boy started at Ashbourne Day Nursery, we were made to feel so welcome and supported. As a parent, leaving your child for the first time can be emotional and worrying, especially when your little one is nervous too. The team were incredibly patient, reassuring and caring, and helped make what could have been a difficult transition into such a positive experience. My little boy has come on so much since starting and has grown in confidence thanks to the wonderful care and encouragement he receives. It is clear that the staff genuinely love what they do, and the children are surrounded by so much warmth, fun and kindness. A special thank you to Sue and Lesley, who my little boy absolutely adores and who have helped him feel so safe and settled. Also, thank you to Cole, Shelley, Hayley and Lou for everything they do to make Ashbourne such a happy and welcoming place. We couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery!

Wonderful staff, lovely cosy setting and fantastic care of the children. Meals are varied and nutritious, the Montessori led approach to toys and activities is also wonderful. I always feel reassured my daughter is in safe, loving hands with the staff at Ashbourne - it has a real family feel with all the staff taking a real interest in the kids individual personalities and I feel reassured they all genuinely care for their little nursery community! My daughter loves Ashbourne!

My son started nursery from a baby and now a toddler and has done really well settling in due to the staff supporting and my son is very happy and engaging well and his development and skills have come on really well. Staff are always very supportive and helpful and happy my son is being well looked after.

Absolutely wonderful nursery - we couldn't recommend it more highly. Our daughter is so happy there; she's constantly learning, exploring, and playing, and the small class sizes mean she gets plenty of one-to-one attention. The staff are exceptionally kind and thoughtful, and it's clear how much they genuinely care about the children. As parents, we really value the regular updates, which give a lovely window into how she's doing and what she's been up to each day. It has a truly homely feel and offers a caring, nurturing environment that we're incredibly grateful for.

We joined Ashbourne in January 2025 and from the first day we all had great experience. Our little girl is loving and thriving at this nursery, which is all because of the wonderful staff working there. She is constantly learning and developing, building great social skills and is always very happy in all of the update pictures we receive (including every time when we pick her up). The staff at Ashbourne are very caring and attentive, and as a parent I have full confidence in them when our little girl is in their care. Really recommend visiting this nursery and seeing it all for yourselves.

I have an older sibling who went to a couple of different bigger nursery's and by far Ashbourne has exceeded my expectations with my youngest and I've nothing but positive things to say about it.

We cannot recommend this nursery more. It's small and homely and the staff make such an effort to get to know your child incredibly well. It's a safe and positive environment and we are so lucky. If your child starts as a baby they will be looked after by a lady who is the best practitioner going.

Staff are friendly. Garden space is amazing and the children are all so adorable and confident. The staff go above and beyond to accommodate for my niece and it is clearly a loving and caring environment. I cannot recommend the small homely feel of the nursery.

A fantastic nursery that my son loves! The staff are so friendly and kind, I love the different activities they set up for the kids and the varied menu. The garden is fab too, there is currently ongoing work to improve the facilities further at the moment. I'm extremely proud to send my son here.

This is a truly lovely nursery. The first impressions of the building; a grand but slightly down-at-heel regency mansion belies the charm to be found within. Our daughter loves the intimate, nurturing environment and has thrived. Staff are kind, motivated and very professional, with a clear focus on encouraging children to engage positively with their peers and their surroundings. We made the right choice.

Ashbourne - Cheltenham- Many thanks from the heart for all your hard work, love, dedication, patience to the children, and for keeping personal belongings in order (toys, clothes), helping with potty training, caring when they were not feeling well, making everyday a fun environment to go to which was also very important.

My Son has been attending Ashbourne for about three months now, and he’s settled in really well. A lovely nursery with a real family feel to it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It can be daunting as a first-time mum taking your little one to nursery - not only were they great with my son, but they were also very reassuring and comforting to me. Would highly recommend.

We've been really pleased with Abbotts Nursery. It's such a friendly, caring place - my daughter is very happy here. She especially likes playing outside in the garden. I would definitely recommend.
