Day Nurseries Owned by Ashbourne Day Nurseries in Buckinghamshire

Our son joined this nursery as he turned 1 and we have only just left due to a nursery opening closer to home. We've been through the last agency with them and change of managers. The new manager, Delia, and her team have been brilliant. They were always available if we needed to speak to them and greeted our son at the door with a smile everyday, no matter what. He loved going in and would always talk about what/who he'd played with.

Thank you so much for the wonderful care and support the team of Ashbourne at Oxley Park have given my son from when he started nursery at 7months to 4years. I truly appreciate the patience, warmth, and all the fun activities Ashbourne planned. The teachers have all made such a positive impact on his confidence and love for learning and I couldn't have asked for a better nursery than Ashbourne.

We would definitely recommend this nursery. The staff are lovely, caring and welcoming, a special thank you to Lily and Maame in the toddler room, who have been incredibly kind and supportive, especially during our son emotional drop offs. They have been so patient and reassuring, and we've seen such a lovely change in him. He now looks forward to going in, has become much more confident and has really come out of his shell. The nursery also has a good sized garden, which gives the children plenty of space to play and enjoy the outdoors. We're very grateful for the care and support they have given him.

The team are wonderful, and we're so grateful for the way they support her learning and development. We especially love the focus on nature, cooking, and arts and crafts, which gives her such a rich and well-rounded experience.

My daughter goes to this nursery two days a week and she has progressed so well in her development since going. She comes home so happy and excited it's really pleasing. Myself and my wife think the staff are amazing and have built a really relationship with our daughter. The food is brilliant and monitored so well through the app we can see constant updates throughout the day.

From the moment you step through the doors, this nursery wraps you in a feeling of warmth, welcome, and genuine care. The environment is bright, thoughtfully organised, and full of rich opportunities for children to explore, imagine, and grow. What truly sets this nursery apart is the team. The staff are consistently nurturing, attentive, and deeply attuned to each child's individual needs. They take time to build trusting relationships, celebrate small steps, and create a sense of belonging that helps children feel safe, confident, and ready to learn. Communication with families is open, honest, and supportive, making parents feel like valued partners in their child's journey.Daily routines are calm and predictable, giving children a strong sense of security, while activities are creative, engaging, and beautifully aligned with the EYFS. Whether it's sensory play, outdoor adventures, early mark-making, or shared story time, every experience is delivered with intention and joy.

We have a 4 year old and a 1 year old at this setting. Both are well looked after and the staff are great with them both. They are attentive and provide perfectly for their very different needs. The food they get is amazing, such a relief to know they are well-fed throughout the day. The children are also very lucky to have such amazing facilities on their doorstep- this includes trips to the on-site farm and allotment, walks to the village and post office as well as the park. Couldn't ask for more in terms of resources.

Our son has been going to Ashbourne Nursery in Swanbourne for 3 days a week since 10 months old. He settled in quite quickly when he first started and the staff, particularly his first key worker were amazing. He has had a few room transitions since, but has always re-settled quickly. He really enjoys going to nursery and often tells us all about what he's done that day. He's also made lots of friends and it's been lovely to see his confidence grow.

The staff provide a positive, supportive and engaging environment for our son, where his development and exposure to new activities has grown.

He is always happy to be there, and is thriving, which is great to see!

Have had a fantastic experience with this nursery. All staff are very kind and inviting. All staff in the baby room are very helpful and have made my daughter feel very welcome especially after she struggled at the beginning All the staff were brilliant and now my daughter loves it.

Communication has been excellent, with regular updates and photos shared throughout the day via the app. We really enjoy seeing all the activities she takes part in, and we also love attending the stay-and-play sessions held throughout the year.

All of the staff are kind, caring, fun and loving. They all really create an environment for my children that feels like a home from home. It's so nice to know that I am dropping my children off each morning to a place where they are going to feel loved, safe and valued.

Extremely satisfied with my pre schooler s experience at Ashbourne day nurseries. He has been going since he turned 2 in toddler room and couldn't complain then cannot complain now. The teachers and the whole staff lot are absolutely wonderful and it's always a delight to talk to them about my kiddy. Recommend Ashbourne to everybody I know for a safe , sound and happy school experience .

Amazing nursery, amazing staff and a wonderful manager. Both kids attended and my youngest love it there. He is refusing the idea of going to a different one. He loves his teachers and friends. At some point he calls his teachers as his friends. The manager Carly is amazing, patient and understanding. She helps and attends to requests almost every time we need her and instantly.

My daughter is enjoying her nursery a lot, but more than anything, she is genuinely happy there. Her smile says it all, and that's everything for me as a parent. She is learning so many good things which helps us.

The enrichment activities, such as the cooking sessions and the visits to the church and the local care home, are greatly appreciated and clearly having a positive impact.

Overall, my daughter is very happy and loves attending the nursery.

My son attends this nursery and is getting on very well. He is learning new skills all the time and developing really well. We receive frequent photo updates through the nursery app, along with general feedback on his progress, which we really appreciate. The staff are supportive and keep us well informed, giving us confidence that he is happy and well cared for.

The nursery staff are wonderful! My daughter struggled to settle in to nursery at first, and now she is so excited to see each and every one of them at morning drop off. She's tried lots of new foods at lunch time, and we can see her becoming more sociable as the weeks go on. I feel so relaxed leaving my daughter there when I go to work, and have no concerns. A wonderful team who plan so many activities for the kids, and keep the parents updated with photos all week.

My child has been attending this nursery since he was 12 months old and a lot has changed since then. There appears to be a high turnover of staff which can unsettle the children and I think it's taken a while for the nursery to adjust to change. It would be nice to see some of the actions being implemented following the Ofsted inspection but they seem to be outstanding yet nursery prices have continued to rise, which is incredibly frustrating. However, I think the staff genuinely care for the children and this is lovely to see.
