Our daughter has been attending since August 2023 and they helped her settle in with lots of care and attention. She has grown fond of several staff members during her time here and made friends. They do lots of activities, singing, playing, and arts&crafts etc. Lunch/ snacks are varied everyday.


Some flexibility would have been great when needing to swap nursery days with advanced notice, however, I believe most nurseries follow the same procedure. The only thing we don"t like is having to pay extra for "early start" when this used to be included before and our daughter is usually picked up early too so the full hours are not even being used.


Overall, we are happy with our daughter attending Ashbourne, Barking.

A very warm nursery setting, plenty of different activities offered. Also very nice staff and management. Plenty of outdoor space. Nice team that work well with the little ones to help assist with needs and help them develop further.

My daughter was there from April. At the beginning, she didn’t want to go, but after 2 weeks she loved it. I must thank all the staff. They were lovely and helpful.
The only downside is the fees for the food are way too expensive, £100 a month is exaggerating. Thanks again for the lovely time.

I am very happy with this daycare nursery! They took care of my baby very well when I went back to work. The staff is amazing, loving and caring. They are like a second family to us! My daughter learnt many things while attending the nursery and made good friends.
We are very sad to be leaving soon
and we are grateful to all the staff and for their amazing work and effort over the year.

The staff and manager are so lovely and so helpful towards my daughter, helping with everything she does at the nursery. I would recommend this nursery to any parent to give their kids there such an amazing environment.

The staff at Ashbourne Day Nursery are exceptional. We feel confident that our child enjoys it here as he tells us all the stories of what he’s gotten up to. There were some issues with regards to payment but admin has improved with new management.

Very supportive staff. They helped my son to get settled. I am so happy with my son's development. He has learnt a lot since he started going to Ashbourne Day Nursery.
Staff are also helpful, careful and friendly. They inform me about everything.

I chose this nursery last summer for my boys (28 months now) and I am very grateful that we started at the Ashbourne Day Nursery, the settling time was quite long only because the boys are so attached with me. Today the boys are going happy and I pick them very happy from there. The nursery is quite
small, I took it as a plus, it is a small family there, friendly, kind and supportive and the management is great and active! They do educational and funny activities with an impact on the children's development, they encourage them to be more independent and I like that. I use the app for all that is happening with my boys, is updated with activities, pictures, observations and daily routine which is great!
I have twins and are boys so is more likely to have issues when is about playtime, sharing and the children at this stage they do have tantrums, for every incident I am always informed if something is happening the staff is letting me know about the situation through the app or calls or when I pick up the boys. Thank you!

The nursery has been super accommodating with my son's needs (he had some mild hearing loss and feeding issues due to enlarged tonsils) but I felt he has been well taken care of and really enjoys nursery!

My daughter goes to Ashbourne day nursery and I am very satisfied with the nursery. I want to give my son also this nursery. All staff are very helpful and friendly. They take care of all the children carefully. Every day they give the child feedback. This is the best nursery. Thanks to all.

The team at Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Barking are wonderful. They are all so caring, supportive and professional. Good staff support. They take good care of the children. They gave NHS discount as well. The environment is clean. My child has learnt a lot since he started. The staff and the management it's amazing! I would recommend this nursery. The staff are very professional, supportive and helpful. My son loves to go to nursery and he goes with a smile on his face. Teachers are trying to help him on his speech development and on his journey to potty training. Thanks
to all the staff looking after my baby (even if now is no more a baby) to his keyworker and the management team, you are doing an amazing job! I would recommend! I choose this nursery just reading the good feedback and its worst!

This nursery is absolutely amazing. The staff are all so welcoming when answering the door and phone; they are just amazing. My son has been attending since he was 1 year and 9 months; he loves being in both rooms, enjoys and loves being with all staff members and likes to enjoy playing with all the
children and making friends every day. His speech has come along so well, and I can't thank this nursery enough; he loves it here, and he's always excited to come.

This nursery is fantastic in many ways, my son loved it here… staff are very friendly and loving towards the children… great care/support is invested into the children and their learning - my son has learnt a lot since being here… also you can leave your child knowing they will be well cared for and
are in good hands… also have really good facilities/outdoor space for the children to play

Every staff member is so nice and so helpful to my daughter and does everything with my daughter to make her happy and she loves going there and to play with other kids and I couldn’t ask for a better nursery for my daughter.

I would really recommend this nursery. Amazing staff! Very professional, careful and supportive.
I had a very bad experience regarding childcare in the past and I was worrying a lot about settling. Staff helped us with every single step. My son loves this nursery and to be honest this is the only
place I can leave him without any worries.
