I cannot fault Ashbourne nursery - all the staff are absolutely amazing and there is nothing more important than your child being in safe hands. My child has attended the nursery for a year and a half, every morning you are welcomed by happy, helpful and kind staff. My little boy has coealic disease and his diet is taken very seriously by them.

We will be leaving the nursery soon to attend school and I will be absolutely gutted to say goodbye to the nursery.

Our son has been at the nursery for around 14 months, and we find the atmosphere is genuinely one that fosters great development and growth in general. They have recently invested in improved outdoor space, which is challenging given the fairly small footprint of the site. The location isn't ideal - Parking is always fraught and the entrance internally and externally is cluttered and narrow. The building also relies on natural ventilation so during recent hot weather they have struggled to safely stay open which is inconvenient and uncompensated. Updates are given regularly, although we do find some entries for food, sleep and nappies might not be entirely accurate. As first time parents we don't quite know what to expect with regards to minor injuries and incidents but staff don't always see how they happened. Important to stress that there have however been no serious incidents in our time there to our knowledge. Management is responsive and the majority of staff are very friendly.

We have been part of the Ashbourne family for over four years with our two children and have seen the nursery develop into the fantastic setting it is today. We genuinely cannot fault the current setup.
Our son is always happy going into nursery and coming home. He eats and naps well, and it is clear he feels safe and supported. We particularly appreciated the personalised approach when he wasn't developing quite as expected. The team worked closely with us and he is now flourishing.
When I was concerned about his transition to a new room, the nursery listened to my worries and worked with me to ensure the move was gradual and in line with my wishes.

The staff's commitment to continuous professional development is evident, as is their happiness and pride in the setting. This is reflected in the environment, presentation, and excellent resources available to the children. We would highly recommend Ashbourne to other families.

I have had a wonderful experience with Ashbourne day nursery Leighton Buzzard. I have used them for both my children 5 years apart as they are great, my youngest now has lots of outdoor experiences and fun daily stimulating activities that keep him busy and involved. I would recommend this nursery to all who are looking for a fun, fair and caring place for their child to be.

Highly recommend - excellent environment and staff who go above and beyond for the children in their care and their families I can say from first hand experience.

I honestly can't recommend this nursery enough. My daughter absolutely loves going in, which says everything we need to know. She has settled in so well and as a mum/ parent, that's the biggest reassurance one can have.
Since starting, I've seen such a difference in her. She's become so much more confident and has developed so many new skills. It's been amazing to watch her grow and flourish.
The staff are so lovely, accommodating and genuinely caring. The communication from her teachers on the app is honestly top notch - they're always keeping us updated with pictures and taking the time to speak to us at the end of the day or commenting on posts which means so much.
I love how they send home activities for us to do together, so there's continuity in her learning and we can be involved in what she's doing at nursery.

The nursery/ staff have made such a positive impact on our daughter's development, and we so grateful we chose this nursery. I would choose it again and again.

Our 13-month-old has been attending the nursery for two weeks now, and we've been really happy so far. The staff are so friendly and welcoming - they've helped make the settling-in process much easier for both us and our little one. We get regular updates and photos about how the day is going, which is really reassuring. There are lots of opportunities for play and exploration, and our child already seems more confident and happy going in each morning. Would definitely recommend!

This nursery has been a fantastic place for my child. The staff are so caring and supportive, the large garden space is a real highlight. My child loves all the outdoor play and exploring. I also really appreciate the app they use to keep parents updated; it's great to see photos, daily reports, and milestones. It gives me real peace of mind and makes me feel involved in their day. The manager is approachable and accommodates extra sessions if needed. I would highly recommend this nursery.

As an uncle, I've had the pleasure of watching my niece thrive since she started attending Ashbourne Day Nursery. From the very beginning, the staff made us feel at ease with their warm, caring, and professional approach. It's clear they genuinely care about the children and take the time to understand each child's unique personality and needs.
Every time I pick up my niece, she's smiling, full of stories, and eager to show off what she's learned. Whether it's a new song, a craft project, or a new word, I can see her development progressing in the best possible way. The nursery provides a nurturing environment that's both safe and stimulating, and the balance between learning and play is just right.
The staff keeps us updated with regular photos, notes, and reports, which I really appreciate as a family member who's involved but not there every day. It gives us insight into her day and reassures us that she's in the best hands.

Our daughter has attended Ashbourne Day Nursery since she was 9 months old and it has always been a positive experience. She loves attending full-time Nursery and has developed many strong relationships with all of the Nursery staff that work alongside her.
The Nursery has strong communication links via the app and email, which keeps us up to date with our daughter's development, wow moments, as well as her everyday care, such as nap times, meals and nappies. We are regularly emailed with updated policies and changes to the week. For example, wearing certain clothes to raise money for charity.
In terms of learning, the environment is age appropriate to help engage, stimulate and develop the learning of each individual child to help them reach their important milestones. Activities in the baby room has ranged from painting, water play to story time and role play.

Overall, if you're looking for a stimulating, creative and nurturing nursery, we would definitely recommend this Nursery.

When my little boy started in the baby room, he was so shy, didn't say a word to anyone and spent most of the time with his key worker. He is now in the preschool room and although still shy, he plays with peers, talks and enjoys telling us all about his morning. He is like a different child to when he first started and that is all down to the friendly and supportive staff who have helped him to feel comfortable. It was a big step starting nursery and like any parent, I worried about how he would settle in and adapt with changing from the different rooms, but the staff have all been so reassuring and kept us up to date with his progress. Super friendly staff, always there to help. Always courteous especially at events within the nursery. I'm super happy with my child's development while there so far which makes me choose the nursery again for my next child.

I am very delighted to find out the nursery has many events, to accommodate parents for the transition to school, Christmas events, graduation and so on.

Since my little boy has been with Ashbourne, we have really been welcomed and he has settled in so well.

He always seems so happy and always has a great time. The staff are so friendly. His key person is so good with him but also all staff within his room (baby's one). So happy.

My daughter started in the toddler room in January 2024 and is absolutely thriving from being there.
Pre her starting, the staff were fantastic in assisting a first-time mum with a million questions and reassuring me along the way. She attended 3 settling-in sessions which the team were fantastic in accommodating as I had to work them around me being called for jury service.
Food, snacks, nappies and sun cream are all included in the cost which is really helpful.
The menus and snacks are seasonal and varied, my daughter who is usually a fussy eater at home. Somehow she manages to eat everything they give her.
The updates from the team throughout the day on the app are so lovely to see, I get pictures of her playing in the garden, messy play and lots of role play. I've also had cards for Mother's Day and Easter.

I couldn't be happier with her being there, and this is all down to the fantastic staff there.

Our son has been attending the nursery since November 2023, about a month after it opened. The team are always welcoming and friendly, and they always welcome our son directly when he is dropped off. The facilities available have improved since he started with more things being delivered for them to use, play with and explore. He particularly enjoys the garden and exploring outside. The team do sensory and craft things with them as well and we have had a few mementoes through - salt dough, paintings, cards etc.

Our son has a dairy allergy and the team have been great in ensuring that he has dairy-free food and milk available.
