Everyone at Ashbourne has been absolutely brilliant. It's a massive relief to us knowing how much he loves going every day, and knowing he's safe and well looked after. He gets a great variety of food and opportunities to try things and activities he wouldn't at home. The facilities could do with a bit of an upgrade, but it's a really minor point given how well everyone looks after him and how much he enjoys it!

We moved our son to Ashbourne after having a disappointing experience at another nursery that we had only chosen because it was close to home in Welwyn. His older brother went to Ashbourne, so I already knew how good it was and didn't think twice about making the move. It was the best decision we could have made. He settled in so quickly and is always happy when we drop him off. It's obvious that he's well looked after and enjoys being there. All of the staff are lovely, but Lucy, his key worker, deserves a special mention. She has been amazing and has really helped him settle in. Knowing he is with people who genuinely care about him makes such a difference. We're so glad we made the switch. I would happily recommend Ashbourne to any parent looking for a nursery where their child will be genuinely cared for and supported.

My stepson previously attended Ashbourne Nursery in Hertford a few years ago and had such a positive experience that when we faced issues with another nursery closer to home, we knew exactly where to return. Despite the short notice, the team accommodated our son and have been amazing from day one. The management team are attentive, supportive, and genuinely care about the needs of both children and parents.

A special thank you to Becky and Lucy, who have been fantastic in helping our son settle in. Lucy in particular has been incredibly professional, always providing detailed feedback at pick-up which gives us real reassurance and confidence leaving our child in their care.

Although the nursery is 20 minutes further away and completely in the opposite direction to work, we know we made the right choice. The level of care at Ashbourne Nursery is outstanding and far outweighs convenience. Thank you to the entire team for your kindness, dedication, and support.

My little one is now coming to the end of her journey here before starting school in September. We have always felt secure in the knowledge she is safe, happy and well looked after while here and I know she will genuinely miss the staff and children when she moves on. She loves the outside space, seems to eat better here than she does at home and her key workers have shown nothing but genuine care throughout.

My son started in baby room in November 2025. He has been thriving in so many areas since joining the nursery. His vocabulary has expanded, both his fine and gross motor skills have improved and his knowledge base has expanded unbelievably! Most importantly, his confidence and his social skills have sky rocketed! I can't thank the staff at Ashbourne for how kind, patient and nurturing they have been.

My daughter joined this nursery in 2024. And she had a great time here she enjoy goin in the nursery n the staff here is excellent.. they looked after my daughter helped her to do everything. Overall I will say the best nursery .

My twins have been attending this nursery for the past two years, and our experience has been absolutely wonderful. The teachers and management team are incredibly caring, supportive, and dedicated to the children's development.

very friendly stuff, very involved in education with children, good and balanced food ..children are fully taken care of. Every week they report how the child is doing..the children are happy, there are lots of activities going on.

We have a 4 year old and a 1 year old at this setting. Both are well looked after and the staff are great with them both. They are attentive and provide perfectly for their very different needs. The food they get is amazing, such a relief to know they are well-fed throughout the day. The children are also very lucky to have such amazing facilities on their doorstep- this includes trips to the on-site farm and allotment, walks to the village and post office as well as the park. Couldn't ask for more in terms of resources.

Our son has been going to Ashbourne Nursery in Swanbourne for 3 days a week since 10 months old. He settled in quite quickly when he first started and the staff, particularly his first key worker were amazing. He has had a few room transitions since, but has always re-settled quickly. He really enjoys going to nursery and often tells us all about what he's done that day. He's also made lots of friends and it's been lovely to see his confidence grow.

A really lovely nursery. The staff are warm, patient, and genuinely caring, and the environment always feels safe and welcoming. My daughter goes in happily and comes out smiling every day. I'm very pleased with the care she receives and would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents.

We have had an excellent experience with Ashbourne day nursery Peterborough. We were very hesitant to put our little on into nursery, having heard some horror stories about other nursery's in the area. Our mind was put at ease straight away having met the team and seeing the environment. We love the updates we get via the app and our little has grown in confidence as well as his learning. We always recommend the nursery when speaking to other parents in the area.

Have had a fantastic experience with this nursery. All staff are very kind and inviting. All staff in the baby room are very helpful and have made my daughter feel very welcome especially after she struggled at the beginning All the staff were brilliant and now my daughter loves it.

Communication has been excellent, with regular updates and photos shared throughout the day via the app. We really enjoy seeing all the activities she takes part in, and we also love attending the stay-and-play sessions held throughout the year.

Very friendly staff, my Granddaughter looks forward to going every morning. It has brought her on mixing with other children and loves doing lots of activities and playing outdoor. She enjoys hers meals and have a good selection.

I couldn't recommend the nursery enough, my little girl loves it, so much that she speaks about it on the daily! She started a year ago and has really come out her shell and her confidence has grown massively. Her speech is amazing which i believe has developed so much from being at nursery. The staff are super lovely and you can tell they love the children as their own. They will always take the time to speak about the little ones day and what they've been up to.
