Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Leavesden

Ashbourne is a really lovely nursery, the staff are all really attentive and professional. My son loved attending and doing various activities, he especially loved the outdoor space which had lots of different equipment to play with. We were sad to leave when he started primary school!

I really couldn't fault all the staff at Ashbourne Day Nursery at Leavesden. My daughter had been there from June 2020 to August 2023 and I can say she loved every single minute of it. All the teachers looked after her and made such strong bonds with her. I would 100% recommend them to anyone who is looking for a nursery for their little one.

We are very happy to have chosen this nursery for our daughter. She loved it from the first day and she wakes up every day happy to go to the nursery. The staff at Leavesden Ashbourne Day Nursery are great, they are attentive to the child's needs and encourage them to express themselves and try new things. Our daughter evolved so much in terms of speech and behaviour and they also got her to try food she would never consider trying at home. Every morning when I leave her at the nursery I go to work worry-free as I know she will be taken care of with attention and kindness.

It is rare to find a nursery where every member of staff gives the same level of enthusiasm and joy to their role as they do at Leavesden. They all care so much for the children they look after. It feels like I am leaving my daughter with family for the day. She goes in with a smile and comes home happy and satisfied. My only comment is that I would like to see more learning and play updates on the app. I love the app so I feel included in her day.

The staff at Leavesden nursery have really taken positive steps in the last few months to improve the nursery. With regular communication on the new app, is great to see what our daughter is up to each day, progress, and daily eating/sleeping. The staff are welcoming and very supportive, always telling us about daily activities and take time to share news. Our daughter is really happy here and looks forward to attending every day.

My son started nursery in January 2020 at about 9/10 months old. As the months went on he developed extremely well, instantly growing his confidence and personality with the help of staff and other children. The staff at Ashbourne are so down-to-earth, friendly and professional that I have been comfortable leaving my son in their capable hands since the beginning. He really enjoys going to nursery as he now gets excited when we walk through the gates to drop him off. He has learned so much in his time at Ashbourne, I feel like he comes home each week with something new.

My son has been attending Ashbourne Leavesden nursery for 7 months (plus 1 month and a half before the first lockdown) and he has settled down very well with only a few tears the first days. The staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating; my son enjoys the nursery activities and when I ask him in the mornings if he wants to go to nursery he gives an enthusiastic "yes". He doesn't talk much yet, so he can't tell us about how he is getting on there, but we are reassured by how happily he enters in the nursery in the mornings. We enjoy very much the online diary updates, especially now, when for health and safety reasons we can't enter inside the nursery.

Our toddler son absolutely loves the staff and nursery. From starting as a one-year-old he has developed so much and I think a huge part of his confidence and curiosity has been encouraged by the nursery. He’s well cared for, enjoys the activities and playing outside with his friends. The nursery have been very flexible in allowing us to bring him in for extra sessions recently to help juggle our working patterns.

My son started at Leavesden in November 2019. He loves going to nursery, all the staff have been amazing, nothing is too much trouble. I have seen such a difference in him and that's all credit to all the staff at Leavesden.

This nursery is one of the best I’ve been too. I’m a mother to four children so have had experience with many others. My two youngest have attended this nursery one from toddler and one quite recently from a baby. My son who attended there years ago still had fond memories of it and he is now 7. The staff are absolutely approachable, friendly and have such a passion for what they do. My little girl goes in smiling and comes out smiling. The new manager has been very helpful as I’ve had to change days since this new lockdown. This has helped me with work and I’m forever in her debt and to the staff who have helped the transition go so smoothly, without them who could work? This nursery is the one to go to, they have looked after my children with me never having to question anything they do. Thanks to all members at Ashbourne Nursery Leavesden. I give you a 10 out of 10 stars from me.

Our son has been attending the nursery for the last six months following our move to the area. The staff are warm and friendly and ensured our son settled in quickly to his new environment. Our son thoroughly enjoys attending and talks about the days’ activities, staff and other children with excitement. We receive regular updates from his key worker relating to his development and have been fully supported with development goals like toilet training.

I would certainly recommend this nursery.

The nursery is just like a second home for my children. Very responsible and caring staff. I couldn't have asked for a better nursery than Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Leavesden. Staff are always happy to help and children are very happy there. They are very flexible in many areas as well.

My son has been attending Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Leavesden for 4 months now. Even though he only attends 1 session a week all the staff have made sure he settles quickly and as a result, has some lovely bonds. It makes going to work so much easier for me knowing he is in safe and such caring hands, especially as my son has a medical condition. The staff have been fully supportive of this and are more than happy to work with my requests for his condition. I can't fault the nursery at all- communication, care, activities its all there. Real home from home feels where nothing is to much trouble.

My son has been attending Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Tots Leavesden for a year and a half now and I could not be more pleased with the service! He is always talking about the staff members and his friends and he will quite often role-play scenarios from his time spent at nursery when at home! There is such a homely feel to the nursery, you can really see that they care and genuinely love what they do!!! The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. The individual care that the staff and management team provide is amazing, always making me feel that my needs and my child's needs are important and valued! I had another baby 5 months ago and I am due to return to work in January and although I am apprehensive about this in general, I could not feel more at ease about my childcare arrangements, knowing that my baby girl and my son will be getting the best possible care whilst I am away from them.

My son has been attending Tots for over 2 years now and he absolutely loves it.

As a parent, I feel very confident in leaving my child at the nursery. The management is very skilled, the staff are amazing and very caring and the activities are great. The nursery delivers everything that I wished for.

My daughter has attended Tots for nearly two years and we couldn’t be happier. Most days she can’t wait to go in the mornings and always is full of excitement when she tells me all about her day when I pick her up. Staff are brilliant and always on hand to chat to about any concerns we have. I always know she will be happy and so well looked after which makes leaving her so much easier.

All 3 of my children have been to Tots from the age of 6 months old. They have played such an important part in my children's lives and have supported, me as a full-time working mum, to feel confident and secure in their happiness. I can't thank them enough for all that they do and feel lucky that my children are being looked after so well by fantastic staff who they feel are part of their family. Thank you Tots!!

This is a lovely, friendly nursery. My daughter attended 5 years ago and I found it to be such a nice place. I now have my son there.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for nearly three years and she loves it. Sometimes, when I pick her up she doesn't want to leave.
