The nursery has a homely feel to the building which helps with the first days of children settling in. Sitting in the middle of 0.3 acres, the nursery has four main rooms to cater for children from birth to five years of age; babies, one-to-twos, toddlers and a pre-school room.
In two of the rooms, the nursery has a sensory area (colourful interactive motion lighting and mirrors), which all children enjoy and is especially interesting for those with special educational needs (SEN).
In all of the rooms, to encourage and promote the use of independence, the resources are stored at a low level for children’s easy access. Furthermore, all the rooms also have dedicated areas for nappy changing or toilets, depending on age. Educationally, the nursery offers a wide range of activities to individuality support all the children.
The nursery has a large outdoor garden area, equipped with a large climbing frame, large playhouses, and a dedicated sheltered and reading area, as well as lots of climbing equipment.
When setting out the garden for the day, staff ensure that all the learning opportunities provided inside are fully promoted and easily accessed in the garden.
The pre-school room has large double French doors, that give direct access (and a nice view) to the garden, so free flow access to outdoors is fully encouraged, a greatly appreciated bonus for children with lots of energy.
Parking is available on the driveway directly outside the nursery for drop-off and pick-up

My kids truly enjoy every moment they spend at nursery and always come home happy and excited. The nursery also has a fantastic chef who provides lovely meals for the children.

From the very first day, the staff have been incredibly welcoming, patient, and attentive. It's clear that they genuinely care about each child's happiness and development. My daughter settled in quickly and absolutely loves going each day, she's always smiling when we arrive, which says everything. The atmosphere is calm, nurturing, and full of positivity. The team create such a warm environment where the children feel safe, engaged, and loved.

He eats well at nursery which is a peace of mind because he's very fussy at home. He loves playing with his peers and is always happy to see his key worker. I really like that I get regular updates throughout the day about what he's eaten, nappy changes and when he is sleeping. Overall we have had a good experience.

My little one has been attending Ashbourne Day Nurseries Dagenham since Spring 2021. She has been full-time since September 2021. She is very happy there and loves to attend each day. The staff are caring and spent time ensuring that each child's needs are met. They have a great outdoor space as well as age-appropriate rooms inside. They have themed activities each day, ensuring the children are stimulated as learn about the world and experience new things. They also have special days celebrating events and seasons throughout the year. There is a chef who cooks fresh meals each day. Children are fed extremely well with 8:00 breakfast, 10:00 snack, 12:00 Lunch with dessert, 14:00 snack and 16:00 tea. I'm kept up to date with activities on their app so know everything from what she's eaten to how many trips to the loo she's had. I'm very happy to recommend Ashbourne Day Nurseries Dagenham to others.

Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Dagenham are always friendly and welcoming, and since the new male manager started, there have been much more activities for my daughter to do. My daughter adores all the staff members and loves to get to the nursery. She most enjoys playing in the garden with her friends. Her personality really shines through, and I can see clear development in her education. One thing I would love for her to learn is to write her name before she starts school in September 2022. She has learnt so much from all her teachers. Thank you for all you do for her; she will truly miss all of the staff there.
