I've had a really positive experience with this nursery and would highly recommend it. The environment is warm, welcoming, and well-organised, with a strong focus on children's development and wellbeing. The staff are caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child.


My child loves the new

toddler room, which has given my daughter space to grow, build confidence, and become more independent. It has also helped prepare her for moving downstairs to pre-school, making the transition feel much smoother.


The management team are excellent-professional, approachable, and well-organised. Communication is always clear, and everything runs smoothly thanks to their leadership. I feel confident leaving my child in their care and truly appreciate the nurturing, supportive environment they provide.

Our daughter has been here since she was under a year old, and now at three and a half, we couldn't be happier with her progress. The nursery provides excellent developmental support, and she has built wonderful friendships during her time here.
A huge highlight is the large outdoor garden. The children
are encouraged to play freely outside whenever it's not raining, and it's heartening to see her so happy and energized after a day of active play.
We also want to credit the new management team for their hard work this year. Following some disruption last October due to a temporary merger with another site, they have worked tirelessly to resolve the challenges. The nursery is now completely settled and back to the high-quality standards we've always valued.
Highly recommended for their dedication and fantastic facilities!

We've had a wonderful experience with Partou Gingerbread House for both of our daughters-one in the baby room and the other in preschool.
The staff in the baby room are incredibly warm, attentive, and nurturing. They take the time to understand each child's routine and personality, which gave us real
peace of mind during those early months.We always feel confident that our youngest is safe, well cared for, and happy.
In the preschool room, the environment is equally impressive. Our older daughter has grown so much in confidence, social skills, and independence. The activities are engaging and well-structured, with a great balance between learning and play. It's clear the team genuinely cares about the children's development.
Communication across both rooms has been excellent-we're always kept informed about our children's days, progress, and any important updates.

Our boy, and we as parents, could not be happier with Partou. He gets such a warm welcome and clearly enjoys it. If we walk past it on non-nursery days he screams as he wants to go in. They keep us informed about food, nappy, and sleep times and regularly upload photos and commentary on his progress.
The staff are simply wonderful.

My son started attending nursery in September 2025. It has been wonderful to see the support from teachers, who have helped my son settle in and adjust to the new environment. The nursery is spacious and has a wide variety of toys, allowing the children to enjoy their time there. The staff is very supportive

The staff provide the most amazing service and I know my child has the most amazing time when he is there. My son has settled so well into the nursery and I know this is because of how the staff have encouraged and supported him through this transition. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and

Team are very caring and being a small group, based in a converted house, it feels like a family. I love that they have been so flexible and accommodating; if we needed an extra day etc was never too much trouble, which is the advantage of the smaller more intimate setting.
Feel team are building their
confidence with my son, who was the only baby under 6 when he started, which means he is slightly a test case for provision of this age group for the nursery but also that he is special so gets great 1 to 1 care. Facilities for that age group such as a dedicated room would no doubt come with more babies

My daughter has been attending this nursery since 2023 and absolutely loves it. I always feel secure in the knowledge that she will be taken good care of whilst my husband and I work full time. As she approaches the start of school in a few months, we will be so sad to say goodbye to Turney Road.

Our Son has attended Gingerbread House for the last 2 1/2yrs. He has additional needs. Since the change in management last year, they have been working with the SENCO from Croydon Council and ourselves in supporting him. We have definitely seen the progression since - how he has adapted to routines,
social skills and engaging. We have really valued the nursery's input in accommodating Bailey's needs to help lead a more independent life. We cannot fault the staff - from welcoming you when we drop him off to when he pick him up - their friendliness nature and how he is always happy from dropping him off to picking him up.

My children attend Rosendale nursery. Lorna has been an amazing support. She's shows the kids so much love and it shows! My son screams her name before walking through the doors. All members of staff have been fantastic. Adam and Nade & Michelle have been key workers for both of my children and they
are fantastic!!! Mel has also played a big part in my daughter development. I would say one improvement would be maybe more educational activities for the older children.

My daughter has been in Partou for 13 months and we are very happy with the experience! The staff are incredible. There is a lot of consistency with good number of permanent staff and even the agency staff is usually the same which is lovely. As many parents mentioned the outdoor space is really unique
by its setting in the fields. The garden allows children to do a lot of imagination playing for example building a pirate ship from crates.
My daughter's communication skills have hugely progressed especially since moving to preschool.
The only thing which could use some improvement is the app they use to communicate and track childs activities.

We've had a really positive experience with this nursery. The staff are fantastic-always friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring, which makes a huge difference. Jess and Claire are great managers and do an excellent job leading the team.
The environment is consistently clean, tidy, and well-organised,
creating a safe and welcoming space for the children. Our 2-year-old absolutely loves going there and has made so many friends, which is lovely to see.
It's clear that the nursery is continuing to grow and move in the right direction, with ongoing improvements that really benefit the children. We also previously had an older child attend, and they loved it just as much, so it's reassuring to see that the high standards have been maintained. We'd definitely recommend it to other parents.

The nursery stuff and management are absolutely brilliant! My child is always so happy going to nursery and coming home from it! My 2-year-old loves coming to Gingerbread. He is always happy and comfortable with the staff and the environment feels warm and welcoming. My older son also attended and had a great experience which set him up well for the transition to school.
Over the past year the nursery has also made significant
improvements. Staffing is now stable and there is a clear focus on meeting each child's individual needs which has made a real difference.
The manager is excellent. She is approachable and genuinely committed to giving the children the best start. I trust her and the staff completely to do what is best for my child.
I'm very pleased with the care both my children have received and would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been attending the nursery since June 2025, and I have been incredibly impressed with the level of care and attention she receives. Since starting, I have seen a significant improvement in her development, particularly in her confidence and language skills.
The staff are attentive,
friendly, and always welcoming. They consistently provide helpful feedback at the end of each day, which I really value. My daughter has developed a strong bond with her key worker, who clearly understands her individual needs and supports her very well.
The activities provided are engaging, child-led, and thoughtfully planned to support the children's development. I especially enjoy receiving updates and photos through the parent app, which is a lovely way to see how much fun she is having throughout the day.
The management team are caring, approachable, and always available, creating a warm and welcoming environment for parents. I am very happy.
