The staff at LBS have been extremely caring and nurturing towards our daughter, especially her key person and the assistant manager, Emma. Our daughter really admires her teachers and it is clear she loves interacting with them. The facility is great and the activities they plan are excellent.

A great nursery with lovely attentive, caring and enthusiastic staff who really get to know the children. The facilities are great - good outside play areas and lots of varied activities inside - and it's located off a quiet road. Paige and the team have done a great job over the past year. We have had 2 children attend Stockwood Lane (one still there) and despite there having been a few issues over the last few years this last few months we feel they've really turned a corner and we are now super happy that our son has a place there. There is now good consistency of staff, much better

parent communication and our son is very very happy with his key worker Madi. Paige & Carla always have tike to listen to any queries and they are a very friendly and welcoming team!

Overall Experience

My granddaughter simply adores the adults who care for her at nursery, they really go above and beyond their expected job.
She speaks so fondly of her time with friends and happily tells me all the exciting activities and things she has learned.
The new manager is lovely and has is clearly so passionate

about giving the children the best opportunities at nursery. She is very knowledgeable and had made lots of new changes to the nursery including lots of new toys to play with!
There has been some teething problems from the company change over, but the quality has only gotten better.
We will be sad to say goodbye when my granddaughter goes to school next year.

My child started the baby room in June and has settled in very well. The staff within the nursery are very nurturing and she has made incredible bonds with the baby room staff. This shows especially when I leave her in the morning, I can pass her to the staff with no tears and a little smile on her

face. She has come so far in her development in such a short period of time that she has been in the nursery. Learning new skills, engaging in fun activities and socialising with her new friends. Thank you to all the staff at Hawkesbury for everything you do. You are an incredible team!

The nursery have been incredible! My son started April 2025 and I've had nothing but support from them. My son has come on leaps and bounds since starting and to see his confidence grew like it has is amazing! The staff are flawless and amazing with the children. The activities they put on for the children

are second to none and the care my son receives is amazing. Putting my son in this nursery is one of the best things we've done as parents.

I have just dropped off my youngest for his last day at Leaps and Bounds nursery, and now is the right time to share my experience. Both of my boys have been there since age one, and over five years they've grown so much - learning letters, numbers, social skills, and how to be kind friends. When my

eldest struggled with potty training, the staff stepped in and had him nappy-free within a week! Every pick-up came with lovely chats about the day's activities - always varied and fun. The nursery made the transition to school smooth and positive. But what truly sets it apart is the staff. They care deeply, and I've always felt complete trust in their warmth and professionalism. A huge thank you to all the amazing team who helped shape our boys into confident little people ready for their next step.

Overall Experience

Both of our children have attended Leaps and Bounds since they were 9 months old, and now our youngest is preparing to leave for school. Over the years, we've had a genuinely positive experience with the nursery and feel confident recommending it to others.

We went through the challenges of the pandemic

together, and although there were occasional staffing changes, the nursery always did its best to manage these quickly and professionally. The current nursery manager has been a fantastic presence-approachable, proactive, and responsible for some excellent improvements to the setting.

The key staff have all been consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely focused on each child's development and individual strengths. It's clear they care deeply about what they do.

The only limitation we've experienced is the small outdoor space, but the team makes a real effort to take the children out on walks and park visits whenever possible.

My little one is about to graduate from Little Big Steps and has had the most wonderful time here for the last 4 years. There was a very uncertain, scary time back in November 2024 which was tough as a parent and felt nervous about sending them back in, but it was the best decision. The staff were brilliant

at settling them back in and even more attentive to the children's needs. I have no doubts in my mind that they are well looked after as they come home every day happy and smiling.

I would happily recommend LBS to any one of my friends and I am sure my little ones would say the same.

We recently had a graduation party in which they really did pull out all the stops and had the most wonderful morning. I was amazed at the time and effort it must have taken the staff and on a weekend too. Very impressed!

Overall Experience

Everyone on the team in every room is so attentive - to the point our kids look forward to spending time with their favourite keyworker.

The team go out of their way to do fun events for the kids and help them learn as well as keeping us updated on their progress.

With so many tickboxes and

things to keep track of, it can be a challenge for any nursery but the team at leaps and bounds do an amazing job.

Overall Experience

We have now had two children go through the leaps and bounds nursery. Both have always felt happy and supported in that environment. It's clear the staff there go above and beyond to help them and care about the children.
My one star being removed is a general concern re private equity firms and nursery

ownership, and what this can mean for staff and children.
That being said I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to local parents.

Both our children love Leaps and Bounds nursery.
Our eldest daughter struggled with settling and her key workers from baby - preschool were fantastic in settling her.
If we have any questions or concerns the nursery is very quick to answer and appease.
We always recommend Leaps and Bounds when other

local parents ask us where to go.

My daughter has been at the nursery since she was 6 months old, and they have been amazing every step of the way. I will be sad to leave all the wonderful people that worked there that have helped to shape my daughter's life

The nursery threw an end of term fete for all of the school leavers and

it was such a lovely gesture, with so many fun activities for them all to do and was such a special way to bring her time to a close there. They went out of their way to make it a fun and memorable experience

The leavers party at leaps and bounds was such a big effort from all the staff involved. Every member of staff made the effort to come in on their day off. And we really appreciate it. If you are looking for a nursery that will genuinely support, nurture, and engage your child in their early years - look elsewhere!
There is a complete absence of understanding or acknowledgement of what my child is capable of. It's as if the nursery is simply a place to contain children rather than

help them grow. The so-called "activities" lack variety, planning, or basic imagination. The level of care borders on negligent. Staff turnover is out of control; familiar faces disappear without any word to parents. I spent over a month requesting a parents' evening - just the bare minimum - a simple review using the Birth to Five framework. Not only was this ignored, but neither the meeting nor the documentation ever materialised. This nursery is chaotic, poorly run, and emotionally exhausting for any parent trying to be involved. The lack of structure, consistency, and genuine care is appalling. My child deserves better, every child does - and so do their families.

My daughter has been going to this nursery from the age of 1 (she is now nearly 4), she absolutely loves it and has made some great friendships. Although she loves it, the nursery does struggle with communication, they have an app which is meant to be updated throughout the day that will give parents

updates however, this is rarely updated and unless I ask what she has eaten I wouldn't know.
The nursery did make a real improvement at one point following ofsted inspections however, I do feel they are starting to slip back into old ways with their communication which is a shame.
They have had real issues with staffing & as a result there are lots of new staff, i haven't been properly introduced to them and am unaware of their names unless I ask my daughter.
My daughter however loves it here and has reached all her development milestones whilst attending the nursery and the staff are always polite and super friendly. My LG has her favourite key worker and looks forward to seeing her!
