I would not recommend this nursery at all. My child only attended for two months and it wasn't a great experience from start to finish. We were given just two days' notice that their room was closing due to staffing issues, and the communication throughout our time there was consistently poor. Staff
were not consistent, and at no point did I even know who my child's key worker was.
It also took over two months to resolve an incorrect bill because I couldn't get hold of the family care team. Despite numerous phone calls, I still haven't had any contact back from them.
When the room closure was announced, the nursery offered no real support in helping us find alternative childcare. All they provided was a generic council phone number that just rang out, and even after asking for help, none was given.
Overall, a very bad experience. Unreliable communication, disorganisation, and no support for families. I certainly wouldn't recommend this nursery.

My little boy has been attending Ashmoor since September 2024, and he has loved every minute of it. The staff are so incredibly caring, welcoming and communicative, and genuinely seem to love their jobs and the nursery. We especially appreciate everything that the room leaders of Little Willows and
Mini Maples have done for our little boy. The nursery itself is so warm and inviting, and its cosy and homely environment is what made us choose this for our little boy's care, as well as the beautiful garden. He gets so many opportunities, so many exciting things to do and ways to learn, and we're excited to him to continue his time there. Thank you for everything you do!

We are happy with how our child settled at the nursery. It is an ongoing process but I feel staff, especially Emily, have worked hard to help them settle. I think consistency of staff is key and on the whole this has happened. I'm happy that the management has worked on ensuring the building is secure
and our child is safe. The updates on the app are good.

I can't recommend Ladybirds Nursery enough! The staff are absolutely amazing - so caring, patient, and genuinely passionate about what they do. My son has learnt so much since starting there, and when our second baby came along, we got him on the waiting list immediately. It's such a lovely, nurturing
environment where every child feels valued and supported.


As a parent, it means so much to feel confident and comfortable leaving my children while I'm at work, and Ladybirds has given me exactly that peace of mind. I'm so grateful to have found such a wonderful nursery.

My son has been attending the nursery since he was 9 months and he is now 2.5. My daughter is about to start at 9 months and I couldn't feel more comfortable and trusting in a nursery team. They have always been great at communication and I feel so happy with the service my son has had for the past
nearly 2 years. The staff are so friendly and warm. I always feel the security of the nursery is great.
The children do so many great activities and spend so much time outdoors!
My son loves it and I'm sure my daughter will too.

Our son just finished his time with Ladybirds having started at 11 months old through to a boisterous pre-schooler.


In our time we received exceptional support, and advice from the staff. We specifically loved the amount of outdoor play time that the children had, and in no small part the forest

garden. When the weather didn't permit outdoors, soft play or messy play were always on hand to keep the children occupied.


Our son received a great pre-school education, and we noticed his language and counting skills really develop under the guidance of the staff.


The variety and quality of the food was always brilliant.


Specific shout out has to go to Sara (Deputy Manager and Butterflies room leader), Adi (brilliant magician and Spanish teacher), Chloe, Alice and Leanne, although all the staff were always brilliant!

My little boy started in the baby room in February this year, he soon settled in really well with the staff team who went above and beyond for him and myself. He has now moved into the back room of the baby room and he is really enjoying it, there is so many activities for him to do and he has lovely
observations on the app.
The meals are really healthy and he eats them all which makes me reassured he is in very good hands.

Both my girls attend here, my eldest has attended since baby room from 18m old. I moved her from her previous nursery as she needed hip surgery and woodlands said they would risk assess her and still cater to her needs and allow her in the setting. They went above and beyond with my eldest, through
her operation, the 8 weeks of casts and the recovery after which included relearning to walk. She has blossomed so much in speech, understanding and confidence since being here. It made sense her little sister was to join from 8 months of age when I returned to work. And again, they're going above and beyond to cater to my daughters needs and interests and look after her so well. She has a tongue tie and egg allergy and they're so amazing when it comes to keeping her from harm. I can't thank the nursery enough for what they do for my girls, they're so excited each morning to get stuck in and enjoy their days. If I'm brave enough to have more, they'll attend here too!

I knew this was the nursery I wanted my daughter to come to as soon as we went to the open day, it's such a warm and welcoming nursery. So much so I didn't look around any others after being here.

My daughter attends this nursery and has done since around 10 months old. She absolutely loves it here and everyday comes home with a smile on her face. You can see the genuine passion the staff have for their jobs and how much love they have for the children that attend. My little girl has learnt so
much from being at this nursery and her development is so advanced for her age. Her speech and ability to create complex sentences amazes me which I believe is all down to the time and effort this nursery put into their children. I love how whenever you see the staff, they are always at their level to interact with children. The staff know the names of all the children and my child knows the name of all staff members which is not just by chance, it's down to the interest the staff in the children. Thank you for making my child's nursery days special

My son has been going to Woodlands House since April 2025 and he loves it! He's gone from crying when left to running through the door on a morning and doesn't look back!


The facilities are brilliant, plenty for the children to do whether it's independent or with others. The menus are always nutritious

and a good mixture of foods throughout the day.


You get regular updates on the app which is lovely, we know what he's eaten, when he's had his nappy changed and regular photos of activities he's been doing with detailed updates on how he's progressing in different areas!


The staff are brilliant, friendly and always give a detailed handover at pick up time!


Overall, we are very happy with this nursery and would 100% recommend.

We've had such a wonderful experience with Nursery Lane since our daughter started in January 2025. From the very beginning, the staff have been welcoming, caring, and attentive, making the transition so smooth for both her and us as parents.


It's clear how much thought and love goes into every part

of the day - from engaging activities that spark creativity and learning, to the nurturing environment that helps her feel safe and happy. We've noticed such amazing progress in her confidence, social skills, and independence.


Communication with parents is also excellent - we always feel informed about her day and reassured that she's in the best hands.


We're truly grateful to all the team at Nursery Lane for creating such a positive, supportive space for our daughter to grow. We couldn't recommend them highly enough
