I'm heartbroken by the discrimination my disabled son faced at Partou Nursery Lane. As a non-verbal, autistic, deaf 2-year-old with special care needs, he deserved support but instead experienced inconsistent care: he was left laying in cold wet grass in winter, he'd come home hungry, dehydrated, with
soiled nappies, and it was clear he'd been poorly supervised. Managers ignored emails and calls, refusing to discuss his SEN support, meaning he missed out on help he needed. Staff often asked me to pick him up early when he cried rather than trying to support him. Interactions became uncomfortable and dismissive once I raised concerns. I removed him as I no longer felt confident his needs were understood or prioritised. He was discriminated against for being disabled, despite being a lovely boy who plays nicely and independently.
Once I stated the negligence he was experiencing, they pushed us away and didn't try to improve.
I'm sharing this so SEN parents can make an informed choice.

I honestly couldn't recommend this nursery enough. All three of my children have attended over the years, and the experience has been amazing from start to finish. The whole team are incredible, genuinely caring, patient and so supportive. A special mention to Leanne, the manager, who is always welcoming
and hands on. You can tell how much pride she takes in creating a safe, loving environment. One of the things I appreciate most is the very low staff turnover. Many of the same staff who cared for my eldest child (now 7!) are still there today. That consistency has made such a difference, my children have felt secure, understood and truly nurtured. Each of my kids has absolutely loved their time here, and the support they've had has been fantastic. I've seen them grow in confidence, make friends, hit milestones and really flourish. It's such a comforting feeling. All of the staff are simply amazing!

Partou Ladybirds has been an incredible place for our family over the last three years. Our two boys have absolutely loved their time there, and we couldn't be more thankful for the support, guidance, and care we've received throughout their journey.


From day one, every member of staff has shown

genuine warmth, professionalism, and dedication. They are all a true credit to the nursery - always going above and beyond to make the children feel safe, happy, and encouraged in their learning and development.


We will be genuinely sad when our time at Ladybirds comes to an end, but incredibly grateful for the wonderful start it has given our boys. We couldn't recommend Partou Ladybirds more highly.

I would not recommend this nursery at all. My child only attended for two months and it wasn't a great experience from start to finish. We were given just two days' notice that their room was closing due to staffing issues, and the communication throughout our time there was consistently poor. Staff
were not consistent, and at no point did I even know who my child's key worker was.
It also took over two months to resolve an incorrect bill because I couldn't get hold of the family care team. Despite numerous phone calls, I still haven't had any contact back from them.
When the room closure was announced, the nursery offered no real support in helping us find alternative childcare. All they provided was a generic council phone number that just rang out, and even after asking for help, none was given.
Overall, a very bad experience. Unreliable communication, disorganisation, and no support for families. I certainly wouldn't recommend this nursery.

My little boy has been attending Ashmoor since September 2024, and he has loved every minute of it. The staff are so incredibly caring, welcoming and communicative, and genuinely seem to love their jobs and the nursery. We especially appreciate everything that the room leaders of Little Willows and
Mini Maples have done for our little boy. The nursery itself is so warm and inviting, and its cosy and homely environment is what made us choose this for our little boy's care, as well as the beautiful garden. We are happy with how our child settled at the nursery. It is an ongoing process but I feel staff, especially Emily, have worked hard to help them settle. I think consistency of staff is key and on the whole this has happened. I'm happy that the management has worked on ensuring the building is secure
and our child is safe. The updates on the app are good.

I can't recommend Ladybirds Nursery enough! The staff are absolutely amazing - so caring, patient, and genuinely passionate about what they do. My son has learnt so much since starting there, and when our second baby came along, we got him on the waiting list immediately. It's such a lovely, nurturing
environment where every child feels valued and supported.


As a parent, it means so much to feel confident and comfortable leaving my children while I'm at work, and Ladybirds has given me exactly that peace of mind. I'm so grateful to have found such a wonderful nursery.

Our son just finished his time with Ladybirds having started at 11 months old through to a boisterous pre-schooler.


In our time we received exceptional support, and advice from the staff. We specifically loved the amount of outdoor play time that the children had, and in no small part the forest

garden. When the weather didn't permit outdoors, soft play or messy play were always on hand to keep the children occupied.


Our son received a great pre-school education, and we noticed his language and counting skills really develop under the guidance of the staff.


The variety and quality of the food was always brilliant.


Specific shout out has to go to Sara (Deputy Manager and Butterflies room leader), Adi (brilliant magician and Spanish teacher), Chloe, Alice and Leanne, although all the staff were always brilliant!

My little boy started in the baby room in February this year, he soon settled in really well with the staff team who went above and beyond for him and myself. He has now moved into the back room of the baby room and he is really enjoying it, there is so many activities for him to do and he has lovely
observations on the app.
The meals are really healthy and he eats them all which makes me reassured he is in very good hands.

Both my girls attend here, my eldest has attended since baby room from 18m old. I moved her from her previous nursery as she needed hip surgery and woodlands said they would risk assess her and still cater to her needs and allow her in the setting. They went above and beyond with my eldest, through
her operation, the 8 weeks of casts and the recovery after which included relearning to walk. She has blossomed so much in speech, understanding and confidence since being here. It made sense her little sister was to join from 8 months of age when I returned to work. And again, they're going above and beyond to cater to my daughters needs and interests and look after her so well. She has a tongue tie and egg allergy and they're so amazing when it comes to keeping her from harm. I can't thank the nursery enough for what they do for my girls, they're so excited each morning to get stuck in and enjoy their days. If I'm brave enough to have more, they'll attend here too!

Our little girl was at Ladybirds from the age of 22 months to just over 3. We had a great experience here, it was our first time leaving her with anyone other than my parents so was obviously overwhelming for us but the staff put us at ease and went the extra mile to make us all feel comfortable. I
was so sad when she left for nursery school but I am looking forward to seeing the staff again when our new little girl starts next year.

Fantastic nursery, my child has attended Woodlands House since being 10 months old, and I have never had any problems with the nursery. The staff are brilliant and attentive and provide an expert level of care. They offer a wide range of activities to help the children learn and progress, whilst also
making it fun and interactive. I would recommend the nursery to anyone looking.

I knew this was the nursery I wanted my daughter to come to as soon as we went to the open day, it's such a warm and welcoming nursery. So much so I didn't look around any others after being here.
My little one loves coming to nursery! All the staff are friendly, warm and welcoming which makes drop
offs so much easier. Her development has come on leaps and bounds since starting and I know she's going to have a brilliant time while she is there. She now comes home and tells me about her day and who her friends are.
