Day Nurseries Owned by Partou in Hertfordshire

We have had both our boys at Partou Shepherds Lane over the last 4 years and so have come to known the staff and team really well. Fantastic outdoor space and nurturing team with regular updates on the app. The food always seems lovely and both boys have always seemed very happy there and blossomed. They are both quite cheeky and I love that the staff have a sense of humour that seems to make them feel at home away from home. We will be very sad to leave in January! We would definitely recommend :-). Thank to you all.

Our daughter was happy and the staff were kind, but as parents we need clear, consistent insight into our child's day and development. That level of transparency just wasn't there.

Overall we Love this nursery, but have found it difficult to get much specific feedback on our child which seems unusual given most nurseries use apps or emails. Have also found it extremely difficult to get a place for his sibling despite ample notice, due to apparent poor awareness of school capacity from management. The day to day care and the facilities and the teachers in his setting are all brilliant and I can't fault that side of the nursery.

The staff at Partou Shepherds are amazing. They really care for the children and support them to progress. The nursery has a wonderful garden and great indoor play resources. I feel my daughter has developed here, and that the staff know her very well. Thank you, Partou!

My little boy started at nursery at 11 months and we are delighted with the progress he has made over the past 3 years. He has really developed in confidence and has a lovely circle of friends at Partou. The nursery has fantastic grounds which is great for my son who loves spending time outdoors. He has formed close relationships with all of his key workers and he is very fond of all the permanent members of staff. The nursery puts on some really exciting activities and we enjoy seeing photos of Tommy on the app having fun with his friends.

I'm very pleased with the care in your nursery for my son. I see him enjoying activities, outdoor play and learning new skills while spending time at the nursery. He is well taken care of and supported during his time here and the staff do an amazing job. Thank you very much!

We are so happy our girls joined Bourne Explorers earlier this year, they have settled in so well thanks to the great team there. The team are very welcoming and create fun filled days with lots of activities and outdoors play. They are very informative with updates on food, naps and progress!

My son is 4 and has been attending this nursery since he was 2. He is always so excited to go in, and tell me about his day when I pick him up.

Since joining, his confidence has grown so much and he has really excelled. He's also made such lovely friendships, and as we don't have a garden at home, he especially loves spending time playing outside at nursery.

The staff are incredibly caring and supportive - not just with him, but with our whole family, even helping with my other children who don't attend.

We feel very lucky to have found this nursery and would highly recommend it.

Sucking's Yard has been great for both of my children. My first joined age at 18 months in the toddler room and is now in pre-school and my second joined the baby room at 8 months. All of the staff are excellent; they are kind and professional and have built lovely relationships with both children. They really care about the individual children and get to know them well. The food is very good as are the activities. The outside space is fairly small but they make good use of it and always go outside when the weather is good enough. Communication with the nursery staff through the app and at drop-off/pick up is generally good. Communication with the head office is less good but most things can be done directly through nursery manager who is excellent.

Partou have been excellent with both our little boys who have gone through and attended nursery since they were 13 months old and our 2-year-old is really enjoying his time there and is developing some nice friendships and loves playing with his classmates and carers, particularly he likes anything to do with vehicles and outdoor play! He seems to be getting more confident with his vocabulary and general interactions with his friends. The nursery team have been excellent throughout our experience.

We've had such a lovely experience with this nursery. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely care about the children's development and happiness. It's been wonderful to see how much our child has grown in confidence and curiosity since starting here. The environment feels safe, nurturing, and full of engaging activities. A great nursery that I'm happy to take my child to. She enjoys interacting with the staff as they all put a lot of effort into making sure she's safe, happy and learning. I have a second child on the way and I'll be sending her here too.
