Our little one has been here for almost two years & I have nothing but praise for the staff & management teams. We've seen our little one coming on so much, especially in the last 6 months, always excited to tell us what she's been doing at nursery & what she's been learning. Overall Experience
We have had a fantastic experience with Holyrood Nursery, particularly with our first child. Before joining, we were told by a previous childminder that he would never settle in childcare due to severe separation anxiety. Naturally, we were worried, but the team at Holyrood approached the situation with patience, understanding, and genuine care.
They worked closely with us over a three-month settling-in period, taking the time to build trust and help him feel safe and secure. Rather than seeing challenges, they saw potential. Today, he happily attends nursery, has formed strong relationships with staff and peers, and has grown tremendously in confidence.
The team have also been exceptional in supporting his food allergies, always taking them seriously and ensuring he is safe. They are attentive, communicate well with parents, and are proactive in identifying and supporting any developmental or learning needs.

We are incredibly grateful for the care, professionalism, and dedication.

Overall Experience

Cannot speak highly enough of this fantastic nursery! My son has the time of his life every day and is always full of smiles and stories when he comes home. The farm animals this month were a particular favourite and the effort the team put in to make sure the kids have fun experiences and learn important life skills at the same time is outstanding. You can see a mile off how much they all adore the kids and working at Holyrood. I will be absolutely gutted when my son leaves for primary school this year. Team Holyrood - you are the BEST!

Overall Experience

My son started thrive weston village in March this year, and it was definitely the right choice. Going back to work and leabing my 11 month old was aways going to be hard but all the girls at the nursery and management with Emma and Claire could not be more reassuring. My son settled so quickly, and after a few weeks weeks he will happily go to the girls in his room, especially Jayde, Lis and Courtney. He eats so well and is always happy on pick up. Highly recommmend.

This is an outstanding and caring setting for our daughter. Staff cannot do enough for our child and she is beyond happy here. The children have meaningful learning experiences each day and she has come on so much. Her development is supported by staff!

Overall Experience
I cant praise holyrood and the staff enough, we've had a challenging few months with our little girl being in and out of hospital and they have provided nothing but support since it all started and even before that.
They have always put her health and well being first but since we have returned after her being unwell they have been so amazing keeping an eye on her and keeping us informed.
She has absolutely thrived in their care, she is so confident and clever and I truly believe it's to their contribution to her life.
She is so happy in their care and I can't tell everything I collect her, she never wants to leave!
I am really grateful for this nursery as I really struggled at the end of my maternity leave, having to leave my daughter but they made me and her feel safe and secure.
I could talk for days about how grateful and happy we are with their care!

Holyrood nursery has been amazing from the minute we enquired.
Our little boy was made to feel so welcome & continues to each day. I cannot fault them for anything. He has come on leaps and bounds since starting. All staff are friendly & helpful and the updates we get each day make my day!!

My husband, I and grandparents have had a very positive experience of the preschool and baby rooms and all staff.

My child started preschool during a period of significant family change with the arrival of a new sibling. The staff, including management, have been consistently patient, kind and supportive, especially during emotional moments. They are honest and fair in their communication, openly discussing challenges while also celebrating achievements and positive behaviour. Staff have shown genuine care through creative learning activities, thoughtful support during stay-and-play sessions, and practical help at pick-up times, often going above and beyond to support both children and parents. Their warmth, humour and consistency have helped my children feel secure, confident and ready to learn. They have also sensitively supported medical and toileting needs without fuss, maintaining dignity& reassurance. Managers are totally dedicated, approachable, EXTREMELY hands-on& professional.

My son has been attending Kirkintilloch Nature Kindergarten for just over a year now and i have never experienced any problems. The staff are incredibly kind, nurturing and dedicated, creating a warm and welcoming environment. Our son has borne so much in confidence, social skills and learning since attending, it's clear the staff genuinely cares for each child and takes the time to understand their individual needs. Communication with parents is excellent and we always feel informed and involved in our son's development. The activities are engaging, educational and fun. We are so grateful for everything the nursery has done for our family and would highly recommend it to any parent looking for exceptional childcare.

Fantastic. Our 2 year old has been attending since he was 9 months old and all the staff have been wonderful. Friendly, attentive, trustworthy and supportive. Our son is bilingual and the nursery have also made a huge effort to incorporate that into his time there. Having recently moved up into the Toddler room, the transition was smooth and he continues to absolutely love it.

My eldest went through Happitots from age one, until he went to school. My youngest is three and still there.
Both kids love this nursery, with my eldest always desperate to come along for nursery pick up!
Both my children thrived here! My youngest could read by two and my eldest is in school, doing maths with the year above him because he is so advanced.
The staff are incredible and I've always said from Day 1 that they make you feel like your child is the most important, remembering events in their lives and making a big deal about every milestone.
The social skills both my children learned here are invaluable - they have a wide vocabulary, excellent communication skills and gained confidence quickly.

An absolutely incredible nursery, all round

Both my eldest son & my daughter came/come to this nursery. My daughter still attends & loves going. The staff are amazing, helpful, caring, kind & compassionate I wouldn't send my children anywhere else. The meals are healthy & nutritious my little girl always eats her meals & mostly has seconds (I could cook the same thing at home & she'd turn her nose up at it haha) I would highly recommend this nursery a 1000 times over.

My daughter has been attending Holyrood Swinton for 2 years and she absolutely loves it there. Every day she comes home having learned or experienced something new. The nursery keeps me up to date daily with her activities and posts regular pictures of what she's been doing. The staff are absolutely amazing and cannot speak highly enough of them; they all go above and beyond and are always there to answer any questions or concerns I may have. My daughter is always talking about her friends and staff at the nursery and goes in with a smile every day because she knows how much fun she is going to have. I would not hesitate to recommend them and I am so thankful I sent her there.

This nursery is just amazing. Both my 2 children have attended this nursery from around 10 months old. My eldest is now in pre-school 2 and the experience we have had at every stage has been amazing. They do a great range of activities and learning. The outside space is great and the staff are just incredible. My boys love nursery days and we really couldn't ask for more. I wish they could stay here forever!

Our daughter started in the baby room here last September at 9 months old and despite my apprehension, the whole team made her feel so happy and settled. She has come on leaps and bounds since then, and now shouts 'yay' when we will pull into the car park! The communication is good and the app used to inform us of sleep, food and activities is updated regularly. We and our daughter couldn't be happier.

We couldn't have asked for a better nursery for our children. It has truly been a home away from home for both of them over the past three years, and we are so grateful for the love, care, and support they have received.

The provisions and activities are fantastic, providing endless opportunities for learning, creativity, and development. The outdoor area is absolutely amazing and has given our children so many opportunities to explore, play, and build confidence in a safe and nurturing environment.

Both my children have attended Holyrood Swinton, my daughter started in 2020 and my son in 2024. Both absolutely love nursery, the staff are amazing.

My son has Down Syndrome and the staff have and do go above and beyond to make sure he has the support he needs and is included in everything the other children are despite his developmental differences to his peers.

Staff are always approachable and take on board our suggestions and our preferences when it it comes to our sons care. They have engaged with Sign -a-lng for him to aid communication, grown sunflowers, do odd sock days. We couldn't ask for more.

A wonderful nursery, with amazing staff, I wouldn't send my children anywhere else.

Holyrood Nursery in Swinton has been fantastic for our daughter. The staff are caring, approachable, and genuinely invested in the children's development. My daughter had been going to the nursery for over 12 months. She was always so happy to go and loved her days there. The staff were exceptional and really helped her develop a range of skills. Everyone was so personable with her and made her feel so at home and so welcome.
We have already put our new daughter's name down for her to go next year, we couldn't imagine sending her anywhere else but here.
