Holyrood Nursery Swinton is proud to be graded 'outstanding' by Ofsted in May 2018.

Holyrood nursery provides care for children from birth to five years of age throughout six large playrooms that are age-appropriate.

Each room provides quality resources in a stimulating environment. The nursery also has two rooms in which carers provide wrap-around care for a local school and a holiday club for children aged four to 11-years-old.

Holyrood also has a large outdoor space that has a sand and mud pit alongside a water pump that the children love to play with on a daily basis.

The nursery chef has been working with Holyrood since December 2005. Alongside making yummy food, she also enjoys covering in the rooms and her 'Cooking with Cath' sessions.

Children are central to all that staff do here so to make sure of this the nursery has a children’s committee, this allows the children to participate in decisions that will affect them at nursery.

The entire key person planning is based on the unique child principle taken from the EYFS document and this allows professionals to cater for and develop the child’s individual needs.

Holyrood provide a range of session patterns to suit all childcare needs including variable sessions, extra sessions and full-time discount.

My son has recently moved here and he is so happy to go to nursery and always in a good mood when we collect him.
He's settled so quick and his behaviour and attitude has improved drastically after a negative experience elsewhere.
He's back to my happy, lovely little boy after such a short period
since starting and I cant thank the staff enough.
I wish we had found this little gem sooner!

Since my son started nursery, it's been a great experience for him. He is thriving and has grown in confidence since joining in May. We were talking about how much a particular member of staff has impacted my sons time at nursery which in turn has made us parents feel so content and welcomed here. We

Staff; the entire staff at Holyrood Nursery have amazing coordination between themselves and are very empathetic towards children which really helps in developing a great emotional quotient at a very young age.
Child app updates; I'm very relieved to see the daily updates about my kid at nursery.
Staff updates about what and how much my kid is eating, about nappy changes and any other relevant notes.
Food and hygiene; the variety choice of food at the nursery are a great offer to kids. The nursery is kept clean all the time
Security; the nursery has a staff room at the entrance door that is controlled by a locking system. This is very important and puts my heart at ease leaving my kid with Holyrood Nursery staff.
Settling Down; it took my kid about 2 weeks to settle down and I can't thank staff enough about their amazing efforts. They really helped my kid to settle down.
I made a great choice in sending my kid to Holyrood Nursery and thanks a lot to the entire staff and management.

I'm having my second kid in Holyrood Swinton, my experience through nearly 5 years has been amazing. All the staff are friendly, experienced and trustworthy.
In my opinion the most important thing about a nursery is that you can trust them with your kids. You can absolutely do that here. Apart from
that, of course my kids have been having so much fun as they have different activities. Food arrangement is good as well.

My daughter has attended this nursery for two months, she has settled in well already and smiles going into the nursery. Communication is fantastic I am always kept up to date with what my child is doing throughout the day via the nursery app. The staff are lovely! Management is so proactive in replying
to any emails/queries and seems to be actively involved within the rooms supporting staff with the children which is great to see. The nursery is clean, and warm and has a welcoming atmosphere. I would highly recommend this nursery as soon as I looked around it I knew I wanted my daughter to attend. It is also a great benefit that the nursery offers a 10% NHS discount as this is a good amount of the bill thank you!

My experience with Holyrood Swinton Nursery has been brilliant.
My 9-month-old daughter started at the beginning of May and from the first day, the staff have shown remarkable ability in making her feel comfortable and happy. I was initially anxious about leaving her, but the team's care and dedication
quickly put my mind at ease!
Each morning, she is greeted with warm smiles and loving attention, making the transition smooth and stress-free.
The variety of activities at the nursery is also really impressive. I love that they have taken time to see what things she individually likes to do, making her as happy and settled as possible. The staff are nurturing professionals and I cannot praise them enough, thank you Holyrood!

Both of my children have attended this nursery and have been treated like a member of their family each time.
The staff are amazing with my boys.
Caring, attentive.
Every time I turn up to collect my son, they're singing or playing with the children.
I love the app and getting daily updates of my
youngest. That wasn't around when my oldest was there and it's a real treat.
It's nice to see so many staff to a room. Something that not all nurseries have and it really shows. The kids are so happy and well taken care of.

My daughter attends this nursery and has done for a few years. My son attended before her too. She absolutely loves it and looks forward to it every week. They both did, even now he loves going back on pickup to see the staff. They are incredible and every single one of them from kitchen, to housekeeping,
to management all make an effort with both me, my son and my daughter and that goes a long way when it comes to childcare. I cannot speak highly enough of anyone in the building, as it's such a happy and caring environment. I can't thank you all enough.

Amazing nursery.
I have and would always recommend this nursery to anyone. The staff are amazing, I cannot fault any of them. My child loves everyone at nursery and they always make the days special and exciting. My child comes home full of stories about how great their day has been and how much they

My son has been attending since March and everyone has said how much his speech has come on since starting. Also, the nursery have been amazing in assisting my son in his toilet training. He is now out of nappies, they are also assisting with taking away the dummy. My son absolutely loves going to this
nursery and he tells me he can't wait to see two staff members in particular when I am dropping him off in the morning. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My son has been at Holyrood Nursery in Swinton for a year or so now and we have seen him progress so well. His interaction with other children is amazing and his interaction with staff is so nice to see. He helps around the Nursery and regularly has his good behaviour recognised with certificates and
stickers that he is so proud of. Safety is the highest priority and he is very well looked after. Education-wise, we couldn't ask for better progress, he has come on leaps and bounds and is so intelligent for a 3-year-old. Staff are always very friendly and welcoming and the few concerns or issues we have had have always been dealt with professionally and promptly. Having had 3 other children in other nurseries I could hand on heart say Holyrood in Swinton has been by far the best I've used. Overall, we are extremely satisfied. Thanks to all the staff!

My son has been attending Holyrood Nursery in Swinton since September 2023. I’m so happy to find a nursery with such amazing staff led by the manager and her team.
I feel so confident that my son is cared for and well looked after whilst enjoying and interacting with the staff and other children.
The nursery keeps me well informed with the app, so I am kept updated throughout the day with sleep, food, and activities as well as pictures which I love to see how happy my son is there.
The nursery has such a welcoming atmosphere and when you drop off and collect you are always welcomed by a friendly staff member who delivers an outstanding service.
I would highly recommend this nursery if you are looking to leave your child in a caring loving environment.

Holyrood at Swinton is unbelievable. Every other parent I speak to is jealous of my experience. They provide everything my little boy needs for the day, which helps me in the morning as all I have to do is drop him off, no extra supplies required. They cater for my erratic shifts by allowing us to book
different days each month. They do lovely craft activities with my toddler. They take him outside every day whatever the weather, which he loves and is excellent for his wellbeing. I love their no-plastic policy, the toys available to him are wooden and not too prescriptive, which allows his imagination to flourish. I cannot praise this nursery enough, the food, the cleanliness and the staff are all exemplary.

All of the staff are welcoming and nothing is ever too much trouble! My child is absolutely thriving and enjoys going to nursery. She has made plenty of friends and I know I'm leaving her in safe, happy hands! I love a chin wag and giggle with staff. They are very approachable, understanding and caring!
All of our family children have attended Holyrood and long may that continue. Management is superb... in a nutshell, you have a fantastic nursery with excellent staff!

Fab nursery. My boy loves coming here, great staff with such a warm and comforting home-from-home environment. The meals are always really nutritional and again warm and comforting! The managing team are 10/10. And have great activities out each week for the children.
