This nursery is the best I have come across in the last 3 years:
The support from the staff, facilities, enormous gardens that were landscaped this year, the car parking, communication, menus, just everything.

I will forever be grateful to such an amazing setting for their support in my son's early years care!

Right from the very start the Nursery have been excellent in setting expectations and in providing excellent care for our baby boy. All the staff, right from the very start, have been excellent in setting expectations and in providing excellent care for our son. All the staff are enthusiastic, involved and transparent at every stage and our son thoroughly loves every second there, especially the yummy meals! Our son's development has come along in leaps and bounds over the last few months from his motor-skills to his speech and we couldn't be more grateful. Any issues or questions we had were dealt with as soon as practical and both

my wife and I can highly recommend this Holyrood for your little one. Thank you so much!

Our daughter has been attending nursery since January, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Since starting, her confidence, independence and communication has grown so much. You can tell the staff really care about the children and what they do. Our daughter is so excited to go into nursery in the mornings and you can tell she has fun and is very well cared for. My son has attended this nursery since he was 18 months old and is now 4 years old. I couldn't be happier with our experience. The staff are caring, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to the children. They create a warm, welcoming environment where the children feel safe, happy, and supported.

The outdoor space is fantastic, giving the children plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and learn outside. I've seen my son grow in confidence and develop so many new skills during his time here. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a caring and nurturing place for their child.

Our daughter has been attending the nursery for almost a year now, and we couldn't be happier with her experience. She has built wonderful relationships with the staff and continues to maintain those positive connections even after moving up from the toddler room.

We've seen a huge growth in her confidence-she is a happy, independent little girl who looks forward to nursery each day. She especially enjoys the preschool environment, spending time outdoors, and exploring the local community.

We really appreciate the care and attention she receives, and it's clear how much she enjoys her time there. As parents, seeing our daughter so happy, confident, and excited to go to nursery every day is all we could ask for. We're so grateful to everyone who has played a part in making her nursery experience such a positive one.

From the moment you walk through the doors, it is clear that this nursery genuinely cares about every child. The staff treat each child as if they were their own, creating a warm, loving and nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued and happy. Their dedication, patience and kindness shine through in everything they do.
The nursery provides a secure and stimulating setting where children are encouraged to explore, learn and grow with confidence. Every activity is thoughtfully planned to support each child's development while making learning fun and engaging. It's wonderful to see children thriving, flourishing and building strong relationships with both staff and their peers.

Communication with families is excellent, and it's reassuring to know your child is in such caring and capable hands. I couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough. DNK has always been a wonderful nursery for our 3 year old and 1 year old. My 3 year old loves all the outdoor play and forest walks. The preschool staff are fantastic and my daughter loves them. The baby room were great when my 1-year-old struggled to settle in and they arranged extra settles to all her to adjust to nursery, ensured continuity of staff and gave us advice on how to best help her settle. Now she loves nursery and is very happy after all the extra effort they kindly made. There is good continuity and good reflection of staff which I have not always found at a previous nursery.

My son has been attending Hollyrood Nursery for the past 16 months and is now getting ready to move up to preschool. I honestly couldn't be happier with the care he has received.
From day one, the staff have made both my son and me feel comfortable and supported. Leaving him for a full day has never been a worry because I know he is in a safe, caring, and nurturing environment. The team always goes above and beyond to provide comfort and reassurance, especially during drop-offs, which has meant so much to us.
The communication is excellent. The nursery portal is updated throughout the day, so I can see what activities he's enjoyed, what he's eaten, and how many nappy changes he's had. It's so reassuring to stay connected and know how his day is going.

The staff are truly outstanding. They plan a wide variety of fun and engaging activities that support the children's learning, development, and confidence. The meals are always fantastic, offering healthy and varied options.

3 of my children have been through this nursery and they honestly care about every individual. 2 of my 3 children were neurodiverse and they did everything they could to adapt the environment to allow inclusion. This is a forest school who actually embraces the outside in all weathers. Even the adults have wet suits! There is lots of outdoor space and the children access the outdoors every day which was especially motivating for my children. I would definitely recommend a tour if you are exploring childcare options

Honestly couldn't be happier with this daycare. From the moment you walk in, the place just feels right - it's clean, bright, and really well laid out so the kids have loads of space to explore but still feel safe. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into how it's set up.
But the biggest thing for me is the staff. They're genuinely amazing. You can see they actually care about the kids, not just watching them but really getting involved, helping them learn and grow. It's not forced or over the top, just natural and reassuring.
The biggest proof for me has been my little one. Since starting here, I've seen such a change. He's become so much more confident, more social, and just generally happier in himself. Even the small things, like how he interacts with others or tries new things, you can tell he's developing really well.

As a dad, that's everything

Overall Experience
The nursery has been a great experience. We switched from a different nursery chain and the staff have all been so accommodating, and really try to go the extra mile to make our daughter feel comfortable and to help her settle.

She now, once again, loves going to nursery and takes full advantage of the amazing set-up and equipment that they have available, which is absolutely above and beyond.

Overall Experience
We can't recommend MKN highly enough. Our twins have spent close to a year here, and in that time we've watched their confidence and abilities grow in ways we couldn't be prouder of. They've loved every member of staff there.
From the Baby Room, where they got endless snuggles and learnt to walk, through to the Tweenie Room, where they've learnt to be adventurous and found their voices.
We're sadly having to leave right now, & will be back !

To everyone at MKN- thank you for the love and care you've shown our girls. We'll miss you all.

Overall Experience
Both our children have been to DNK, with our youngest still there. What we have greatly appreciated is how warm and nurturing the staff are.
We like that there's a lot of outdoor time and the structure the girls provide to the day.

I have no hesitation in recommending and have recommended to friends. Thanks for all your effort to make connections with the children!

Overall Experience

DNK has been great since both my children started in 2024 and 2026. The staff are always happy and take time to talk about the children's day and what they've been up to, they always come home happy and well fed.
