Thrive Lark Hill House

Luna started in the baby room when she was 11 months old and we can't thank Sally, Hannah and the team enough for all that they have done. Sally and Hannah in particular gave us both the confidence to go to work without having any concerns or hesitation about leaving Luna. We knew she was in safe hands and Luna loves them both. She took a liking to them both very quickly (despite me saying she doesn't like cuddles when she started). You can tell they genuinely care about her. They were always happy to take the time to speak to you at the end of the day and tell you about Luna's day. You also never felt like you were bothering them if you rang up to see how she was. We really appreciate everything they have done for Luna over the past 6 months, she has grown so much and we are grateful for the development she has had whilst at the nursery.

We have been so happy with our daughter's time at nursery. She started in Baby One and Hannah, Molly and Sally have been amazing with her. She absolutely loves going and comes home happy and tired after a busy day of activities. She especially loves playing in the outdoor area. She has developed so much in such a short space of time, and we notice something new every week. She is moving up to Baby Two next week, and we know she will continue to thrive there, especially as Molly is moving up with her. All of the staff, including the cleaners, cooks and managers, are so lovely and welcoming. They always greet you when you walk in, know your child by name and treat them as individuals. We also love how they keep us updated on her day and everything she has been doing, eating and sleeping. We couldn't be happier with the care she receives.

From the the first show round my husband and I loved this nursery and felt totally at ease when our twins started here at 14 months old. They talk about their wonderful teachers at home - Charlotte, Amber, Laura and Stacey and have made lots of little friends in their class who they talk about too. They always come home so happy (and tired!) having done a whole range of fun activities. I love the huge outdoor area it's perfect for their learning and when they're a bit older they'll love the forest school. The food they make for them is all homemade and it is rare my boys don't eat the whole lot - it sounds super yummy! Every member of staff we have come into contact with on drop offs/pick ups around the nursery whether they are our boys teachers or not know them well and are so friendly and warm. The boys have come on leaps and bounds since they started here, we couldn't be happier with this nursery.

What really stands out is how invested they are in him as an individual. They know him so well, speak so warmly about him and genuinely celebrate his little achievements and milestones. All staff seem to care so much about the children and always wave and smile when anyone comes in and out. Most importantly, we feel completely safe and reassured knowing he is in their care. The love and dedication they show him means so much to us as parents. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better start to nursery life!

Very caring staff, warm atmosphere- all staff friendly and helped our child feel comfortable and safe so quickly after starting nursery. You can really tell your child is known and cared for in an individual way - we are so glad that our child has been so happy since starting!

We are genuinely going to miss everyone so much when my daughter leaves next week.

The nursery is Fantastic! The Staff are warm, welcoming, thoughtful and my little girl has loved every moment. They have genuine love and care for the children. The environment is lovely! Couldn't be happier!

3 of my children have been through this nursery and they honestly care about every individual. 2 of my 3 children were neurodiverse and they did everything they could to adapt the environment to allow inclusion. This is a forest school who actually embraces the outside in all weathers. Even the adults have wet suits! There is lots of outdoor space and the children access the outdoors every day which was especially motivating for my children. I would definitely recommend a tour if you are exploring childcare options

This nursery is just amazing. Both my 2 children have attended this nursery from around 10 months old. My eldest is now in pre-school 2 and the experience we have had at every stage has been amazing. They do a great range of activities and learning. The outside space is great and the staff are just incredible. My boys love nursery days and we really couldn't ask for more. I wish they could stay here forever!

We couldn't have asked for a better nursery for our children. It has truly been a home away from home for both of them over the past three years, and we are so grateful for the love, care, and support they have received.

The provisions and activities are fantastic, providing endless opportunities for learning, creativity, and development. The outdoor area is absolutely amazing and has given our children so many opportunities to explore, play, and build confidence in a safe and nurturing environment.

Fabulous nursery, amazing grounds and the most wonderful staff I have ever experienced.

Having come from another local nursery that I dreaded dropping my child off at, we moved my Daughter here and we were so lucky that we got the last spot! I can see how it is so popular. The staff are absolutely amazing, they work so hard everyday and are so creative with their games and they care so much for the children. People have asked me about this nursery and I always say it is like dropping my child off with family, I know they will be cherished and looked after every day. My Daughter is in pre school 2, Jane, Karen, Peter and Lauren are amazing people and fabulous at their jobs. My Daughter is moving to school in September and I am gutted! She will miss it so much. Couldn't wish for a better nursery for my daughter who has been attending since she was 12 months, now age 3 and thriving here. Staff are faultless, outdoor space is amazing and like a little Forrest. This nursery is outstanding in every way.

Great nursery. We travel from Wigan twice a week so our son can attend this nursery. The staff are great and really friendly, our son speaks about the staff when he's at home so they obviously have a positive impact on him. They spend a lot of time outdoors to which our son really enjoys.

My daughter recently started here and honestly I can't thank them enough! The nursery was so perfect from our very first visit. The staff are all knowledgeable and make you feel welcome, you never feel a burden no matter how many times you call in a day or how many questions you ask. The menu is varied and the food smells lovely when you come in. The day and activities all feel well organised, honestly we are so grateful to all the staff here and could not have picked a better nursery for our precious child

My daughter attends this nursery and recently is thriving! She has started toilet training and the staff in her room have been very accommodating to meet her needs, she loves being outdoors and the nursery have an amazing outdoor area which seems to be utilised very well. Even the management team have been involved in my daughter's settling in process which has been very welcoming.

I couldn't recommend this nursery enough. My daughter is preschool 2 and I never want her to leave. The staff treat my daughter as if she were their own and they genuinely care about her. My daughter's key work has gone above and beyond in helping her with her additional needs and I can't thank him enough! The other staff in the room are also amazing and I couldn't ask for anything more. The staff make this nursery such a great place for the children. The management team are fantastic very quick in responding and always there for advice or help. The staff are always inventive in games and activities they play. I really love the amount of outdoor time they get and not stuck inside all day. I love that everyone knows each child by name even if they are not in the children's room. A lovely nursery with a great family feel! Thank you for everything you do!

Both our children are thriving at Astley Nature Kindergarten! They love spending time outdoors and visiting the park. Our son's language and communication have developed so well and our daughter's confidence is growing.

This is a fantastic nursery. The service has been consistently great through the three class/groups our child has attended. The team really makes the experience. They are warm, welcoming, friendly, energetic, informative and very professional. This makes you confident that they are in good hands and their development and happiness is a priority. This is exemplified by the range of activities they do on a daily basis, with development-based feedback/updates. Inside and out, the facilities are fantastic. The place is always really well-presented. Overall, it is a great nursery that I would recommend to family and friends.
