Usually after the Christmas period it takes time for my son to get settled again, yet this time he was overjoyed to go back, running in with such excitement in his actions and speech
I feel this change has come with 2 members of staff who my son idolises. Their nurture and support has made his speech
come on so much and I feel such at ease when I'm working that I know he is happy.
Thank you.

My child was there for over 2 years and left this January 26. My original plan was to keep her there until she went to primary school. However, lots changes in September 2025, followed a wave of staff resigned, it is so hard to communicate with the new management team and issues happened one after another.
Now lots of new staff or agency staff there.

Because of the numbers of complains in late 2025, Ofsted carried out two visits within 2-3monthes. Ofsted served a Welfare Requirements Notice to Holyrood Dryden in December 2025. Ofsted are due to carry up a follow up regulatory visit on or soon after 26 Jan 2026. Please see most recent Ofsted report.

Reply from Jenni McDougall, Operations Project Manager at Holyrood Nursery Dryden StreetThank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are truly sorry to hear that your child's final months with us did not meet your expectations, especially after such a long and meaningful time in our care.

We recognise that the period from September 2025 onward brought significant change, including staff transitions and leadership adjustments. We understand how unsettling this can feel for families, and we regret any communication challenges or concerns this may have caused.

We appreciate your review and take all feedback seriously. We are actively working to address every requirement, strengthen our staffing stability, improve communication with families, and ensure consistent, high-quality care. A follow-up visit is expected on or shortly after 26 January 2026, and we welcome the opportunity to demonstrate progress.

We appreciate your child being part of our community for over two years, and we genuinely wish your family every success and happiness in the future.

I previously had my son at another nursery but decided to move him for numerous reasons. After looking at nurseries in the local area, my son ran to play in this one straight away and we knew this was the one for him. Hannah was very helpful in showing us around and answering any questions we had. Also
reassuring us that our son's needs would be met daily.
Since starting, my son has come on leaps and bounds and is supported daily in his learning. The girls at the nursery are amazing.
Thankyou so much.

My child attended Dryden Street for 1 year (2024-2025), until we removed her due to significant safety concerns. Poor management, poor communication with staff and parents, and a complete disregard for children's safety meant that we were no longer happy leaving our child there. The nursery uses significant
numbers of transient agency staff who cannot form adequate relationships with the children. Management have been quite confrontational when dealing when parental complaints, and a number of staff have recently left including both managers (one of 23 years service, the other 7 years) which speaks about environment within.
As of December 2025, the nursery is under an Ofsted Welfare Requirements Notice - which can be seen on Ofsteds website. I would advise reading this before you consider sending your child here.
Reply from Jenni McDougall, Operations Project Manager at Holyrood Nursery Dryden StreetThank you for sharing your feedback. We are very sorry to hear about your experience and understand how upsetting this must have been.
We acknowledge that this was a challenging period for the nursery, and we have taken the concerns raised very seriously. Since then, we have been working hard to strengthen our leadership, staffing stability, communication, and safeguarding practices.
Feedback such as this is important to us, and our priority remains the safety, happiness, and development of every child in our care. We are committed to continuous improvement and rebuilding trust through our actions moving forward.
We wish you and your child all the very best.

We have had 2 children attending Corner House Nursery Trafford spanning over 4 years. We have always felt reassured that our children were safe, secure and enjoying themselves. The staff have been wonderful, kind and sensible. Our children have loved going and there always seems to be lots going on.
The building is clean and tidy and there is ample space in the car park for safe drop offs. The opening hours are very work-friendly. The management are present and approachable. Overall really happy with our childcare choice.

Five stars from a very happy parent!
I'm extremely happy with this nursery-it's been a wonderful experience from day one. The environment is nurturing and well-organised, with a huge garden that gives the children plenty of space to play and explore. The staff are absolutely fantastic-kind, attentive,
and genuinely invested in the children's wellbeing. A special mention goes to Steff, who has formed a beautiful bond with my child and clearly brings so much heart to her role. My child adores her, and it's lovely to see that affection returned with such care. The nursery is always spotless, which gives me great peace of mind. I couldn't ask for a better place for my child to grow and thrive.

Our son, Milan, finished at Corner House Trafford back in September, and we couldn't let the moment pass without sharing our immense gratitude. The transition from home to nursery felt seamless and loving, and that is entirely down to the wonderful staff.
Thank you to the entire team for your constant
patience, infectious energy, and dedication to making the nursery a stimulating and safe environment.
We want to give a special shout-out to three people who made a profound difference in Milan's time: Aja, Amber, and Emily. The love, care, and specific attention you showed him truly meant the world to us. You helped him grow, learn, and (most importantly) feel happy every single day.
We highly recommend Corner House Trafford to any family looking for a nurturing and excellent environment for their child. Thank you all again!

Really nice nursery location/venue
Convenient
Good opening hours & flexible with offering different time sessions not just full days
My son didn't settle at first & took 8-9 weeks of lots of tears & separation fears but now he's loving it. Every baby takes their own time to settle but persistency
helps. He started at 15 months old & now 18 months old waiting for space in toddlers room to move from the baby room. Most nurseries upload daily pictures to the app but we get one a week but good handovers.
The staff have been good so personal friendly and patient with my requests for certain dietary requirements & feeding methods. They build a good rapport & relationship with the babies & parents. The manager Chloe was excellent & supported us a lot when we were trying other nurseries and came back to corner house nursery.

My child spent four happy years at this lovely nursery, they are well prepared for school and have enjoyed all of the fun activities and outdoor space provided. The staff make genuine connections with each child, it has been hard to say goodbye. I highly recommend this nursery.

Quite simply a wonderful nursery. My daughter has just left Corner house for school and she had the most brilliant time there. All the staff at Corner house go above and beyond to create a lovely environment for the children in which they can gain confidence and develop their skills and personalities.
They are really considerate to both the children and parents. The food here is absolutely fantastic, far superior to other nurseries we visited, it's all home cooked hot meals for lunch opposed to sandwiches, I'd often be jealous of what my daughter had eaten that day! The outdoor areas are lovely for the children with lots of space and greenery. I can't say enough about how good this nursery is and have recently started our son in babies who has settled beautifully and is already really enjoying his days there. Highly recommend to any parents looking for a safe, welcoming and kind nursery for their children.

Holyrood Nursery Salford

Our child joined Holyrood Salford at the start of the year. It is such an anxious time when your baby steps into their new nursery world and we are so glad that his steps were through Holyrood's doors.

His key worker and the rest of the team took such good care of him in babies, seeing his bond grow

with the adults was really reassuring. Picking him up mucky and smiling at the end of the day is a testament to all the fun he has had that day.

Now in the waddler room, his transition has been smooth and he has found a new best friend in the lady who runs the room. We're looking forward to continuing to see him develop and have fun there.
