Cannot speak highly enough of this fantastic nursery! My son has the time of his life every day and is always full of smiles and stories when he comes home. The farm animals this month were a particular favourite and the effort the team put in to make sure the kids have fun experiences and learn important life skills at the same time is outstanding. You can see a mile off how much they all adore the kids and working at Holyrood. I will be absolutely gutted when my son leaves for primary school this year. Team Holyrood - you are the BEST!

My child started preschool during a period of significant family change with the arrival of a new sibling. The staff, including management, have been consistently patient, kind and supportive, especially during emotional moments. They are honest and fair in their communication, openly discussing challenges while also celebrating achievements and positive behaviour. Staff have shown genuine care through creative learning activities, thoughtful support during stay-and-play sessions, and practical help at pick-up times, often going above and beyond to support both children and parents. Their warmth, humour and consistency have helped my children feel secure, confident and ready to learn. They have also sensitively supported medical and toileting needs without fuss, maintaining dignity& reassurance. Managers are totally dedicated, approachable, EXTREMELY hands-on& professional.

Both my eldest son & my daughter came/come to this nursery. My daughter still attends & loves going. The staff are amazing, helpful, caring, kind & compassionate I wouldn't send my children anywhere else. The meals are healthy & nutritious my little girl always eats her meals & mostly has seconds (I could cook the same thing at home & she'd turn her nose up at it haha) I would highly recommend this nursery a 1000 times over.

My daughter has been attending Holyrood Swinton for 2 years and she absolutely loves it there. Every day she comes home having learned or experienced something new. The nursery keeps me up to date daily with her activities and posts regular pictures of what she's been doing. The staff are absolutely amazing and cannot speak highly enough of them; they all go above and beyond and are always there to answer any questions or concerns I may have. My daughter is always talking about her friends and staff at the nursery and goes in with a smile every day because she knows how much fun she is going to have. I would not hesitate to recommend them and I am so thankful I sent her there.

This nursery is just amazing. Both my 2 children have attended this nursery from around 10 months old. My eldest is now in pre-school 2 and the experience we have had at every stage has been amazing. They do a great range of activities and learning. The outside space is great and the staff are just incredible. My boys love nursery days and we really couldn't ask for more. I wish they could stay here forever!

The provisions and activities are fantastic, providing endless opportunities for learning, creativity, and development. The outdoor area is absolutely amazing and has given our children so many opportunities to explore, play, and build confidence in a safe and nurturing environment.

Both my children have attended Holyrood Swinton, my daughter started in 2020 and my son in 2024. Both absolutely love nursery, the staff are amazing.

My son has Down Syndrome and the staff have and do go above and beyond to make sure he has the support he needs and is included in everything the other children are despite his developmental differences to his peers.

Staff are always approachable and take on board our suggestions and our preferences when it it comes to our sons care. They have engaged with Sign -a-lng for him to aid communication, grown sunflowers, do odd sock days. We couldn't ask for more.

Having come from another local nursery that I dreaded dropping my child off at, we moved my Daughter here and we were so lucky that we got the last spot! I can see how it is so popular. The staff are absolutely amazing, they work so hard everyday and are so creative with their games and they care so much for the children. People have asked me about this nursery and I always say it is like dropping my child off with family, I know they will be cherished and looked after every day. My Daughter is in pre school 2, Jane, Karen, Peter and Lauren are amazing people and fabulous at their jobs. My Daughter is moving to school in September and I am gutted! She will miss it so much. My daughter moved to Holyrood in January 2026 from being with a childminder for the previous 7 months, Holyrood ensured her transition into an environment with more children was smooth. She has gained so much confidence with the ladies and peers within the baby room, exploring different activities, food and environment. The staff at Holyrood have been particularly 10/10 when it has come down to some ongoing issues I have had. These has been personal issues with my daughter struggling with food, the full team in the baby room along with the management staff have ensured I have been updated daily and adapted her meals to help. Each member of staff greets you at drop off and collection on a personal level, and no question is never too much. The parent portal is updated on a regular basis showing food, nappies and activities. I really cannot wait to continue our journey with Holyrood until we reach school age.

Couldn't wish for a better nursery for my daughter who has been attending since she was 12 months, now age 3 and thriving here. Staff are faultless, outdoor space is amazing and like a little Forrest. This nursery is outstanding in every way.

Great nursery. We travel from Wigan twice a week so our son can attend this nursery. The staff are great and really friendly, our son speaks about the staff when he's at home so they obviously have a positive impact on him. They spend a lot of time outdoors to which our son really enjoys.

We send our child to this nursery right from when she was one year old in baby room and my daughter is now 3.5 years and in preschool room. The staff are great and she learnt a lot of skills and have been looked after very well. We trust the staff and safe to say my daughter is under safe hands of care.

Our little one has been attending since being 6 months old and watching her grow into such a confident, independent and interested toddler is credit to the hard work and dedication of all staff at Holyrood. We cannot thank everyone enough for all of their support always!
