Holyrood Nursery Shaw

My daughter has been going to this nursery for around 6 months its absolutely brilliant. The staff are amazing, my daughter settled in very quickly and always comes home happy at the end of the day. Would recommend this nursery to anyone.

My eldest went here from 2022 to 2024 and absolutely thrived here. Now my youngest is here and is doing great! The staff are amazing and take really good care of the children, and give a clear handover when picking the children up. I am very happy with my decision to send my children here and highly recommend this nursery to anyone who's looking for a day nursery.

My son loves going here and all the super friendly staff have helped him come along a lot with his speech and toilet training. He always comes home telling us how much fun he has had and asks to go nearly every day.

Brilliant at supporting my child with his emotions and his confidence has come on amazingly since starting in September 2025. The staff in toddler room have done a great job with my child in helping him progress in all areas.

Excellent nursery. Staff in the baby room are incredible. Our baby has been here since April after moving from a different Holyrood nursery, only moved due to location of my work. Ever since our baby started at this nursery, she has never shown any negative emotions when she attends nursery, always comfortable with all staff within the room and the surroundings. The variety of meals is excellent and nutritious. The activities that are done with the babies are extremely good and totally focused on development stages of each child. All staff are very approachable. The safety measures in place are very good which is reassuring to know your baby/child is in safe hands whilst at the nursery. Would highly recommend. Our baby always comes home super happy and well cared for.

As she's now getting ready to move up into the toddler room, I feel so confident knowing she'll continue to thrive. Thank you to everyone at the nursery for everything you've done for my little girl. You've helped give her the best possible start, and I'll always be grateful.

Fantastic nursery, cannot praise the staff enough for the excellent care they give to my daughter. After a tough start to nursery life in a different setting my child is now happy every day going in nursery and staff recognise the different needs each child has.

Holyrood has been nothing but wonderful for my son. He has flown through his targets while being there, and as an anxious parent, knowing he is cared for and happy to be at Nursery has been such a relief. The staff are knowledgeable, there is a good relationship between management and the teams on the ground, and there has never been a single day where I have been turned away when I have a worry or issue. His staff have been wonderful since he joined as a baby in December 2022. The parent's evening have been great too, and it is very obvious that the staff knew my son inside and out. Having the opportunity as a working family to come and spend days in nursery doing activities has been a blessing too, as we get to see him being happy with his friends and staff team. The nursery is a credit to Management and the team. I highly recommend Holyrood Nursery to any family.

My daughter has been going to Holyrood Nursery for coming up to a year in April and I can honestly say it’s the best decision I have made. I love how spacious and open the nursery is always very warm and welcoming. The duty of care and patience the staff have toward the children is remarkable and always has the child’s needs and interests at best. My daughter loves attending this nursery and is always happy going in staff always have plenty of activities and messy play activities for children to join in. Staff always keep you updated via their app on your child’s progress thank you Holyrood Nursery for all your support.

Out main reason for choosing Holyrood was to ensure that our son was kept busy all day, as he likes to be busy. We can definitely say that he is kept busy and loves his time at Holyrood.

He loves coming in to nursery to see all his teachers and friends. Staff are all amazing! They are all so, welcoming and a credit to Holyrood!

Holyrood Nursery has been absolutely incredible for my daughter. She has flourished and her confidence has grown. She loves attending and the staff are amazing. Huge thanks to every single staff member. Will definitely recommend tor everyone I know as it is just outstanding.

All staff here go above and beyond for myself and my child, the care and attention to detail are second to none. The Valentine's breakfast was so lovely and every detail was thought about. Such a lovely welcoming place.

My daughter has been at Holyrood Shaw since she was 1 and has thrived. Honestly, it’s like a home from home for both her and me. The staff are fantastic and you can tell they love their job and love children and are professional. My daughter has been in every room and has encountered most of the staff of whom she loves. The facilities, learning experiences are also all great and I can see that through my daughter's development throughout her various stages. She loves attending nursery and not a day goes by without her asking if she will be going. She leaves this year to go to reception and I know it will be very emotional for her and myself as she has literally grown up at Holyrood Shaw. It’s a fantastic nursery that I will recommend to anybody who is considering taking their child there. We moved out of the area however she still attends and my son will too.

The nursery really has been a godsend, they are like a second family to my little boy. So caring and kind with my son and with parents too. I know he has a great time and is stimulated when he's there with his little friends.

Both my children have attended Holyrood Nursery, Shaw. They have both had a very happy time there. All staff are kind and considerate and have supported our family with many milestones and preparation for school.

Holyrood is an absolutely fantastic nursery. We have felt so lucky our son is able to attend. The staff are very polite and helpful. They have built a very special bond with our son. We feel that the nursery has really encouraged our son to develop and many skills. During a very difficult chapter for us as a family personally, Holyrood supported us greatly. I last left a review when my daughter was 6 months old and had been at Holyrood a month. She is now nearly 3 and has been at Holyrood ever since. I cannot fault anything about this nursery. They have the best attitude towards your child’s development and they are always a pleasure to greet in the mornings/ pick up. I honestly believe my daughter eats such a good variety of food due to Holyrood. She can’t wait to get to nursery, so that says it all!

This nursery is amazing, my son has come on leaps and bounds since attending. All staff go above and beyond. It's a very clean and sage environment. The care each child receives is amazing and individual to them. My son stuggled at first and did cry a lot but no matter what staff members attended to him they always started with a hug and reassurance.
