My son always has a big smile on his face when I pick him up from nursery. He loves the staff and I'm confident that he is well cared for and looked after. He enjoys all the activities and I love getting updates and pictures throughout the day.

My child started at the nursery in September 2023 in the baby room and moved to toddlers in January. The nursery has been brilliant at every stage.
They do lots of outside play and have always planned something fun for all the children to do.
The staff are amazing and I have been very happy leaving
my child here while I'm working.
My child has always come home very happy!

Our son thoroughly enjoys his time at nursery and adores his key worker. All the staff are professional but equally so friendly. The pictures we receive throughout the day of the various activities like cooking, painting and forest school are testament to the hard work and planning of the staff.
The
varied and nutritious meals my son devours every day is also a very big positive for this nursery

The staff have been so attentive, accommodating and genuinely care about supporting my daughter in her transition to nursery. I'm extremely happy with the progress my child has made since joining the program. He truly enjoys every part of it and looks forward to the sessions with excitement. I've noticed a remarkable improvement in his communication skills and overall confidence. Earlier, he used to be quite shy and hesitant
to express himself, but now he speaks more freely, interacts with others comfortably, and participates with enthusiasm. It's wonderful to see him growing into a more confident and expressive child, and I'm so grateful for the positive environment that has encouraged this change.

My daughter has been attending Grosvenor House full-time since she turned one, and she absolutely loves going to nursery. I truly believe the staff are the main reason for this, they are always so warm, welcoming, and attentive to her needs. I really enjoy receiving the pictures and updates through
the app, which give me a window into the creative and engaging activities she takes part in each day.


All of the staff are wonderful, but I'd like to give special mention to two in particular, who have made such a positive impact. Their care and dedication have given me great confidence and peace of mind, and I couldn't be happier with the experience my daughter is having at Grosvenor House.

My daughter loves coming to this nursery. She has developed strong relationships with all the staff that work with her. We are really happy with the nursery. Our boy loves all of the activities and the ladies are all really lovely.
We were worried about how well he would settle after being at home with myself for 12 months but he is doing great and we are happy he is being well cared for.

The new contract implemented by Thrive on acquisition was poorly communicated and came with a significant increase in fees. Other significant changes included the removal of the sibling discount and a day charge for Bank Holidays when the setting was shut. On the back of this, we were informed the forestry
school and cookery class were scaled back/not running due to numerous reasons which was also poorly communicated to us.
We had also experienced numerous increases in fees, alongside any investment in the facilities or the staff; fundamentally we had been paying more, and getting less.
Communication was lacking from Thrive when concerns or queries were raised and you were often left sending chasing emails to get a response. We experienced and felt a sudden shift in ethos, culture and morals since Thrive took over which did not align with our values. The mass exodus of staff was the final straw for us and many other parents (at least 8 have transferred to a new nursery setting).

Thrive have destroyed everything that we loved about our incredible independent Outstanding rated nursery in the two years since they took over. With hindsight we should have removed our daughter when the first wave of staff resigned and when we first started to see the warning signs. We are now left
in a situation where 7 more long standing staff leave in the space of two weeks and the nursery is being inundated with child withdrawal notices. Sadly underinvestment in facilities, lack of funding to restore forest school and award winning nursery garden after flooding last year and now the planned repurposing of the excellent Cookery School facility combined with staffing concerns have resulted us in withdrawing our daughter.

My child started nursery at Benison in the summer of 2023. He was very shy, and I have really seen him come out of his shell since beginning at Benison. The staff are warm and loving towards him and made it as seamless as possible for both me and him as we got used to the new routine as I went back
to work. Activities are varied, his meals are varied, and overall, me and my partner are very happy with the overall experience. The staff really go above and beyond and are always energetic, smiley and kind.

Absolutely amazing nursery. The team are so friendly, welcoming and supportive. They really helped my son to come out of his shell and build his confidence. The team always went above and beyond. I would highly recommend this nursery and will be sending any future children there.

Staff are always very friendly and provide a review of the day which is nice. They will let us know if there's been anything of note in the day. Like something our little boy has said or if he's had a fall or such like.
Can't fault the nursery at all. Our boy appears to enjoy it - he's content when

Both my children went through Benison from Babies and still go to holiday clubs. Staff always built a great bond with them and supported them and us as parents through many situations from toileting, and teething and now providing a fun holiday club.
They have been very lucky to enjoy forest school
and cookery school experiences which are not offered by many other nurseries.

Both of my children have attended Benison, and we couldn’t recommend it enough. I’ve been very impressed with their management of children with allergies (my son has a nut allergy). The facilities such as their excellent Forest School and Cookery Class with the brilliant chef are second to none and
have provided very precious memories for my two children. Most importantly what stands out to our family is the genuine love and care that the ladies in the nursery show to the children in their care. Entrusting the care of your precious children is a tough decision and one we didn’t take lightly, but as soon as we visited Benison, we knew this was where we wanted our children to go. I’m very thankful for the wonderful staff for the love, care and guidance of our little ones in their formative years, and for inspiring a love of learning that will see them right for years to come.

My son joined Benison aged 8 months in September 2023. The girls at Benison have been outstanding, they are caring, nurturing and supportive, not only for my son but for us as parents as well. They provide detailed information about his day on each pick-up as well as keeping us up to date throughout
the day on the app which is reassuring to see how lovely his day is going. My son has come on leaps and bounds since starting at Benison. They always do so much with him in his day there and send him home with amazing crafts and memories for us to keep. He is always well fed and well slept and they go above and beyond to make sure they follow what you want for your child. Nothing is too much for the girls and I would highly recommend Benison to others.

My daughter joined Benison Day Nursery in the baby room at 15 months old. She is now 3 and placing her here has been the best possible decision I could have made. All three nursery areas (Babies, Toddlers and Nursery Class) have been absolutely incredible in working to ensure she is safe, feels valued
and continuously developing her skills and life experiences.
The experiences she has been fortunate to encounter provided by the nursery have been second to none! From on-site cookery and forest schools to external trips to farms, recycling centre and the river. Benison goes out of their way to ensure her days are filled with excitement, stimulation and adventure. Helping her to grow into the confident, sociable and caring individual she is now!
The staff are always on hand to discuss any worries, provide support and greet us with a big smile morning and evening! Nothing is ever too much trouble!

Benison Day Nursery have gone above and beyond to help my little boy. Since starting he has come on leaps and bounds. He is so so happy there. The staff are amazing very nurturing and caring. Nothing is too much. They have amazing facilities and he attends forest and cookery school which he loves! I
