Happitots Nursery Garrowhill is a purpose built building, situated within Garrowhill Park in the East End of Glasgow and is part of a well-established nursery group. They are delighted to have been awarded NMT Nursery Group Award 2018.

Happitots offers four age-appropriate playrooms that provide safe, engaging and stimulating play areas for children to play, learn and develop. Rooms are designed with children’s learning and development in mind and are well resourced with a variety of educational, messy play, physical, art and sensory play toys.

There are two small bespoke garden areas to the front of the nursery which also uses the adjoining park and church grounds for play and learning opportunities. Happitots make use of the local park, giving children opportunities to run around, play in the sand and improve their climbing skills.

Happitots Staff team are passionate and dedicated to the care of children and ensuring that children are safe and engaged throughout their time at nursery. All staff are fully disclosed and qualified or working towards a qualification in childcare.

Happitots operates in partnership with Glasgow City Council to offer funded pre-school sessions and provide a range of session patters to suit all childcare needs including variable session, extra sessions, full and part-time. Happitots offer a sibling discount and NHS staff discount.

Included in fees are quality early year’s care and education, healthy meals and snack.

Happitots Garrowhill is a wonderful nursery. The staff are so pleasant and have genuine care and concern for your children. My one year old daughter settled in so well. All the staff who have cared for her, three in particular, just to mention a few have been excellent. You get regular updates throughout
the day, sometimes including photos, letting you know how your child is doing which really puts you at ease. In addition, they give a good selection of healthy food, fruits and snacks. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

All of the staff are really friendly, they're happy to give advice and use their experience to help with any questions I have. As I first time parents, obviously first time putting a child into nursery, I've felt comfortable asking questions either in person or by email to understand the nursery process.
My child appears to get on well with the staff and has settled in well to the nursery. Some days the updates on the app are more complete than others but we usually get a quick run down of the day when we do pick up.
I like that my child is taken on trips to the neighbouring park as the outdoor space isn't the biggest.

My 1 year old has been attending the nursery since January 2025. She only goes 1.5 days but she's built up a brilliant relationship with some of the staff and is full of smiles on drop off and pick up and that's all I can ask for. The updates on the app are great.

Can't fault this nursery. My daughter has been in for the last 6 months and has come on leaps and bounds. She is always so happy to be attending and always has the best day. She has developed a great relationship with a lot of different staff; who are always happy and attentive. All so kind and can
tell they care about the job and the kids. Staff are amazing at keeping you updated throughout the day to limit any concerns while working. Any concerns I've ever had have been taken into consideration and dealt with quickly. Overall, a great place that I would definitely choose again.

I cannot praise the nursery enough. My son has been here since he was 1 and is now in his final few months in the preschool room. Every member of staff we have encountered in each room has been as good as the next.
He is thriving in all aspects of his learning and is more than ready for school which
in large is thanks to all the staff.
He is happy and excited to go to nursery every day which as a parent is all you can ask for!
We have already secured a place for our 2nd child for when I return to work!

It's such a nice feeling as a parent knowing you're leaving your child in such a happy and safe place while you work. The members of staff in the 2-3 room are amazing with my little girl she has so much fun in nursery and loves coming home and telling us all about her day. The staff are amazing at keeping

Excellent nursery! All staff are amazing, very helpful and friendly. Plenty of updates on the app to keep me up to date with how my child is getting on throughout the day. Staff in the toddler room go above and beyond to help my child with plenty of encouragement.

We are so grateful for the wonderful care of our child in the toddler room. The staff are incredibly warm and attentive and they truly go the extra mile. I can't praise the team at the nursery anymore in helping my little one feel safe and settled in the past few weeks. I can not praise Happitots Garrowhill highly enough, I have had two children attend here, both straight into the preschool room. Firstly the staff are absolutely incredible from all the teachers to cleaners and cooks. Not a day goes past where my current child isn't greeted by smiles and enthusiasm.
The communication between staff and parents is second to none, I get regular updates on the app and a conversation to back up what they have done throughout the day. The care and attention to all the kids is second to none. The support both my kids have received with learning, developing, trying new activities/foods etc has been amazing. The nursery itself is always clean and tidy due to the hard work of the staff, every single member of staff is a credit to the nursery, extremely hard working and professional. Would highly recommend here to anyone looking for a local nursery.

My girl attended Happitots Garrowhill for 3 years and absolutely loved it! The staff knew her so well and gave the highest level of care and it showed by how much she loved going each day and how confident she was being around each and every member of the staff! My little girl has been attending Happitots since April 2024 and she absolutely loves it! She has come on so much in speech, socialising, independence and confidence! My little one loves Happitots and always comes out having had a fun-filled day. The nursery has improved 1 million per cent since the new staff and the new manager is great. I am always well informed of everything going on in the nursery great communication, the staff are great and always give a great

My son loves Happitots Nursery Garrowhill, the staff are amazing and although we are not allowed inside due to Covid, we are kept up to date with what is happening within the nursery. All of my son's needs are met and he is always happy and smiling going in and coming out of nursery. The staff are all
very friendly and they do lots of fun and educational activities with the children. The children spend lots of time outdoors in the nursery garden doing a variety of activities which is great for their health and wellbeing. They also use the local playpark which is great for the children's fitness levels. The nursery encourages independence and encourage the children to be creative. My son loves reading books, sand and water play, making playdoh and exploring various corners in the nursery which are kept clean and change regularly depending on what topic the children are working on. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone in the area looking for an amazing nursery for their child, 10/10!

Happitots Nursery Garrowhill is a fantastic nursery. The staff are lovely and are always welcoming in the morning when we arrive. They always provide a breakdown of the day at pick up and also upload photos/posts to the app. My son loves Happitots - highly recommended!
