Day Nurseries Owned by Thrive Childcare and Education in Cheshire

Having been quite apprehensive about sending my son to nursery I am so glad we chose this one. Being a bit older he struggled with separation at drop off and immediately the nursery workers swung into action, coming up with loads of brilliant ideas to help and within 2 weeks (2 days a week) he was looking forward to going everyday and still does. The activities he does, the food, the cleanliness, the place is superb! We looked at 4/5 different places and are so happy we chose thrive frodsham hill! The staff couldn't be more caring, professional, friendly people, the whole ethos from the minute you walk through the door is a loving, nurturing, caring one with a real focus on developing the kids in all aspects. The hard work that has created this environment should be massively appreciated! We certainly do! Thank you!

Always smiling and happy when they are collected at the end of the day. They get plenty of outside time with the daily mile.

What I appreciate most is that the staff really take the time to get to know the children and their individual personalities. You can tell they genuinely care. I couldn't ask for more from a nursery and feel very lucky to have found somewhere our little boy is so well cared for. A huge thank you to all the staff for everything they do!

My little boy started at Corner House nursery just after he turned one. The girls in the baby room were so lovely and welcoming and helped him settle in so quickly. They were very understanding of the emotions involved in leaving your baby for the first time and took the time to talk things through and provide support with settling in sessions.

My little one is now in the toddler room, and again, they were very good in managing that transition. He gets so excited every time we arrive at the door, and I get a nice detailed handover explaining how his day was when I pick him up.

The group sizes seem relatively small so my little boy has good supervision and interaction with staff.

The resources in the toddler room are good and there are always different themed activities set up for the children. They also have a newly set up outdoor play area which looks great fun.

I would definitely recommend this nursery to others; the communication is great and my little boy seems very happy.

Our daughter has attended Thrive since September 2024 and we cannot fault her nursery journey so far. The staff in each room have always been approachable and they genuinely care about the children. The staff have always been supportive with transitions to the next room and made us feel at ease. We would highly recommend this nursery.

The team really care about the children and I feel that our daughter has been given a great start to her education journey because of their care and support.

Since joining Culcheth day nursery 9 months ago our daughter has come on in leaps and bounds and throughly enjoys every day she spends at nursery. The nursery staff communicate with us clearly and consistently and provide a wide range of activities for her to do.

Mere nursery really is a fantastic nursery with very attentive staff and a model that is set up to have kids thrive. I love the app where Zoe in particular regularly provides us personal insights into our daughters day there. I look forward to seeing whatever it is when it pops up on my phone. This was particularly useful for me as a fulltime working mum who didnt want to have to be away from my baby, but had no choice. I really felt like I could trust the team with her care from such a young age (baby room) right through to now (toddlers) where my daughter literally runs in with barely even saying bye to us! My only little wish was that porridge was served to the toddlers at breakfast instead of cereals that, despite the "nutrition" labels still have more sugar in them than I'd like my daughter to eat. But if thats my only gripe I think thats fantastic going! The outside space is fab and the constant thought and attention to all the daily activities they do is really outstanding!

Overall experience has been good. A lot of staff changes over the last few years has created a little uncertainty, including several changes of our child's key worker. Some of the staff have been extremely nice and helpful and it generally seems a nice environment for children. Still wonder about the staff morale since the takeover and get the impression staff are putting on a brave face at all times. But overall pretty pleased with the nursery experience and our child is typically smiling/happy to go, which is only a good thing. Many thanks for the care over the years.

We honestly cannot thank everyone at Thrive enough for the incredible experience our daughter Lily, has had. When she first started, we were naturally nervous and apprehensive, especially as she has additional needs.

Those worries quickly disappeared as we saw how happy she was and how much she loved coming to nursery. The care, patience and encouragement shown by every member of staff have been exceptional.

Lily's progress in her confidence, communication and independence has been remarkable and is a real testament to the wonderful team at Thrive.

My now toddler has had an incredible experience at The Mere, starting in the baby room where Sarah, Rachel and the team helped her settle in and built her confidence brilliantly. Now she is in the toddler room and we are just as delighted with the staff and experience here. Huge shoutout to Zoe who has provided us with advice along the way on potty training and other huge milestones. Everyday I'm astounded with the activities that have been completed in just one day, themed weeks and plenty of outdoor play. I can see the confidence the nursery has helped my child bring and would like to extend a massive thank you to the staff.

I will forever be grateful to such an amazing setting for their support in my son's early years care!

We could have not asked for better experience so far, as a new parent knowing your child is safe and happy enjoying their time at nursery makes you feel so much more reassured and content when you do have to return to work

Both of my children have thrived at Holyrood and we've always felt like they have been so well looked after and cared for. The preschool team having been fantastic in preparing my daughter for school. Big thank you to the team x

We're so, so pleased that we chose Thrive - I'd visited a few other nurseries in the area which seemed a lot more hectic and "business-like" but Thrive is very homely, calm and the staff feel like an extension of family now!

My son started at Holyrood in the babies room in May and the team couldn't have been more amazing. They have gone above and beyond to ensure he feels comfortable, safe and welcome in the baby room. But above all he is having fun, is really stimulated and doing lots of activities!

My son started thrive weston village in March this year, and it was definitely the right choice. Going back to work and leabing my 11 month old was aways going to be hard but all the girls at the nursery and management with Emma and Claire could not be more reassuring. My son settled so quickly, and after a few weeks weeks he will happily go to the girls in his room, especially Jayde, Lis and Courtney. He eats so well and is always happy on pick up. Highly recommmend.

The whole journey from when my son started at 12months old up until now in his last few months in Pre School, has been wonderful. My son has been so happy here the whole way through. The staff are all wonderful and so caring. Thank you to everyone over the last 3 years!

Fantastic. Our 2 year old has been attending since he was 9 months old and all the staff have been wonderful. Friendly, attentive, trustworthy and supportive. Our son is bilingual and the nursery have also made a huge effort to incorporate that into his time there. Having recently moved up into the Toddler room, the transition was smooth and he continues to absolutely love it.

Our daughter started in the baby room here last September at 9 months old and despite my apprehension, the whole team made her feel so happy and settled. She has come on leaps and bounds since then, and now shouts 'yay' when we will pull into the car park! The communication is good and the app used to inform us of sleep, food and activities is updated regularly. We and our daughter couldn't be happier.
