Welcome to RafaKidz Wittering, a 99 place setting, open 51 weeks per year, catering for both Military and Civilian families. At RafaKidz Wittering little ones can experience a nurturing, warm and stimulating environment from 3 months to 5 years, ultimately preparing them for school.

At RafaKidz Wittering staff strongly focus on play based learning taking leads from the children's interests, the indoor areas are filled with age appropriate resources that cater for different aspects of each child's development. Each room has their own separate garden area, allowing the children to engage in physical activities and connect with nature. There is also a dedicated, fenced-off nature space as part of the nursery that children can really learn about all things nature in.

Parent partnerships are very important and you will be kept up to date regularly with your child's day and development through the Famly app.

The Nursery also operates a small out of school club within the setting and can accommodate 26 children.

Absolutely brilliant nursery. From the baby room where our daughter receives care and nurturing to help her development and she has lots of fun! To the older two in before and after school club which allows us to work while trusting our kids are safe and happy.


I couldn't recommend it any higher.

We couldn't be happier with this Nursery and the amazing care they've given our daughter since she started at 1 year old. Now at 3, she has absolutely thrived - socially, emotionally, and developmentally.


The staff are not only kind and nurturing, but they really see each child as an individual.

It's so clear how much thought goes into creating a fun, safe, and enriching environment. Our daughter comes home every day excited to tell us what she's learned, who she played with, and what new songs she's singing!


We've seen such a boost in her confidence, language, and independence - and most importantly, she's happy and secure. We are so grateful to the whole team for creating a space where she feels loved, supported, and encouraged to be herself.

My son has been at this nursery for four months we have never had any issues he settled very quickly into the nursery and the staff are amazing my son is very happy at this setting , I'm always kept updated with what he's doing and have always been a variety of activity for him to do there .

My daughter has been at this nursery for just over 18 months and she's always excited to go.
Anytime i have had queries or issues the staff have always gone above and beyond. Including the lovely chef who caters for my daughter's dietary requirements. She has thrived and learned so much here and it's
given her more confidence, this is due to having lots of outside play and learning, aswell as indoor. I couldn't ask for a better nursery for my children. I can't wait for my other daughter to start here and be looked after and cared for as if they were family.
They are a great support when a parent is deployed also. I would recommend this nursery to anyone without a shadow of a doubt.

The place is lovely and my daughter loves it. Always asking to go everyday. She has come on so much with everything it lovely to see at she is enjoying it and having fun. Making lots of friends and comes home and tells us what she has done for the day.

Great nursery and the people that work there are just incredible. They have made going back to full time work so easy and my little boy loves going. I don't even worry about him anymore as I know he's having a fantastic time and they are giving him as much love and care as I would be at home

Having only just moved into the area, we were very impressed with the nursery, plenty of child-friendly facilities, outdoor play equipment, sand/mud pits, and lots of toys and books. The environment feels very safe and welcoming.
The staff are so friendly and warm and our daughter seems very happy
there.
All the team members are extremely supportive,not just for the children but to help parents adjust too.
I would highly recommend using this nursery.

Our son has been attending this facility for over a year and he is always looking forward to a pre-school day. He loves playing with his friends in the newly refurbished garden and feels confortable with the staff. The staff is always nice, smiling and greeting us, even if they are not in my son's room.
We have noticed huge improvement in our son's learning in maths, literacy and social skills thanks to the different activities that are carefully thought through by the staff every day. We love seeing the daily reports too! As this is our son's last year at nursery, a lot has been put in place to liaise with the local primary school to help the children transition smoothly, which is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My child has been attending this nursery for over a year and he loves it here. He has a good bond with all of the staff and has made friends easily. I am kept updated about my child on pick ups and the app is regulaely updated with what food my child has eaten. They are always teaching new things, and
different activities are always set up for the children to get involved in. My child is able to enjoy a lot of outdoor play as they have a good space outside. Overall its a great nursery!!!

I cannot praise this nursery enough! Both of my children-aged 3 and 1-attend, and they absolutely love it. The staff are so caring, welcoming, and professional. It gives me such peace of mind knowing that my little ones are in such a safe and nurturing environment every day.
My 3-year-old has blossomed
with confidence, made so many friends, and is constantly coming home excited to tell me about what they've learned-from songs and stories to numbers and creative play. The team really encourage their development in such a fun and engaging way.
My 1-year-old has settled in beautifully too, which I never expected at that age! The care and attention they give to the tiniest details, from cuddles to nap time, has made such a difference. You can tell the staff truly love what they do.
Thank you to everyone at the nursery-you've become such a special part of our family's life. I wouldn't want my children anywhere else!

My Son started here in February and he absolutely loves it. He gets so excited as soon as we get to the nursery and now he's walking he walks in and goes straight into his baby bears room and smiles at the staff.
The staff have been amazing with both my son and myself which I feel is very important.
They keep me updated with any changes, issues, etc and support us both.
He wasn't great with the dinners at the start but the staff have persevered with him and he is gradually starting to enjoy them and has even had seconds on odd occasions!
I hope he continues to enjoy his time as he moves up through the years before school so he can grow with his friends.

Such an amazing nursery! My child comes home happy (and very tired!) every day and always has stories to share and friends to talk about.
By far one of the best things about this nursery are the staff. Their retention of experienced, caring and just fantastic staff is great and I always feel my child
is in safe hands.
Management are helpful and friendly and the nursery has a real comfortable and home like feel which is so important when children are beginning new and exciting life journey's.
