About this price
How funding is applied, how the monthly figure is calculated.More info
- Working parents of children aged 9 months to 2 years can usually claim up to 30 funded hours a week. The working-parent hours depend on each parent meeting the minimum earnings rules and earning under £100,000 a year. This nursery stretches funded hours across 52 weeks of the year. You've selected 30 funded hours.
- This nursery applies up to 10 funded hours per day, stretched across 52 weeks of the year. With your selected funding, 21.9 hours are covered each week. Hours beyond this, including the early and late parts of the day, are charged at the standard rate.
- We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.

We are kept upto date with the day to day schedule of our child whilst in setting and it's lovely to have a talk with the leaders at the end of the day to see what activities they have done throughout the day. This is all updated each week with photos of how they've been getting on!
We completely trust the nursery setting and the team there to look after our child whilst also educating them and make them ready for their next stage with primary school.

Our son has been at nursery for 20 months and has thrived throughout. The staff are polite, warm and welcoming, and clearly put real thought into the children's day. Activities are wonderfully varied and creative, with lots of time outdoors and a real focus on encouraging independence. Meals are lovely, varied and home cooked every day.
Staff have been so supportive and accommodating with whatever our son has needed, from fully supporting him through toilet training to taking real care with his medical condition, always following a clear action plan. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
We're sadly moving away, which is the only reason we're leaving. We can't recommend this nursery highly enough and will miss the whole team. Our son loves it here, and that says everything. Thank you so much and we wish you all well!

Louis has improved immensely over the last year and the nursery have had such a large role in this. They have welcomed in Louis physio and occupational therapists to help get guidance in ways to further help Louis progression. Both physio and occupational therapist were really pleased with how Rafakidz worthy down are helping Louis develop.
As parents we couldn't ask for better service and support with the nursery for our son.

My grandson loves coming to nursery and he has made great relationships with the wonderful, kind and smiling staff team. They have helped him to make friends and play happily. He talks about his friends and the exciting activities he has done each day. He also loves all the food and healthy snacks!

My daughter has been at RAFAKidz now for a year and we couldn't be happier! She is so happy to go in and can even get sad at pick up time because she is having so much fun! The staff are absolutely amazing, they are always happy and up beat and really take the time to get to know you as a family...
My daughter is aways saying how much she enjoys the food, she is now eating so much more than before and trying all new foods.
Management at RAFA are also lovely, very approachable and no request is too big.
It is a fab little nursery and I would definitely recommend to any one in the area!
We couldn't be happier with the care our daughter receives at this nursery. The staff are absolutely fantastic, warm, kind, and genuinely caring. It's clear how much they value each child and we've seen our daughter thrive under their attentive support. Each week brings a new and exciting theme,...
Most importantly, we feel complete trust in the team to give our daughter the highest level of care. It's a warm, nurturing environment that truly puts children first, and we're so grateful to be part of this nursery community

I just wanted to take the time to give some recognition to the team at RAFA Kidz Worthy Down.
As im sure all parents are, my wife and I were initially apprehensive about which nursery to choose for our little daughter but we are beyond grateful that we made the right choice. Our little girl has developed so much in her short time there, we have seen her personality really blossom and we know it is due to the hardwork and dedication of the staff. The nursery like all nurseries is just a building but it is the staff that really go the extra mile to ensure our daughter is not only cared for but flourishing daily. Our little girl doesn't love the nursery she loves the staff and we can see why.
Unfortunately I am limited to only 1000 characters but I would just like to say to anyone reading this if you have any reservations about RAFA Kidz, go and visit. I couldn't thank the team enough and my only regret is I wont be able to keep my little girl at this age and there forever.
Thank you so much for your lovely words. It is our pleasure to watch the children grow every day.

My child didn't have long to settle into the nursery (my fault) and she was quite upset initially, as is usual for young children. However, my child's key person got to know my child and their interests and created bespoke activities she was interested in, in order to help her settle. This was beyond my expectations, and I was very very impressed.
Every single member of staff is a delight- so, so lovely and they really care for all the children.
I've spoken to other parents outside the nursery and they feel the same. You can see that all the children are very happy here. This nursery is a hidden gem!
My daughter wasn't a huge eater before she attended this setting, but the food she has tried and eaten here is phenomenal. They even have their own chef! I've seen the food and it looks delicious. My child has changed so much- she has learned to trust other adults due to the kindness of the nursery staff.
I highly highly recommend this nursery.

I always wanted to work with children in some way, so I studied for my level three in college and then went to work in one of the settings I had done some work experience in. This was the start of my early years’ journey. I’ve worked my way up from being a practitioner to now being a manager, and I have recently completed my level five. I have a passion for supporting children with additional needs, so I was so keen to take on the role of special educational needs coordinator for the setting. It is a real pleasure to be able to work with children and watch them grow, and to know you have played a part in shaping their futures.
