My grandson loves coming to nursery and he has made great relationships with the wonderful, kind and smiling staff team. They have helped him to make friends and play happily. He talks about his friends and the exciting activities he has done each day. He also loves all the food and healthy snacks!

My daughter has been at RAFAKidz now for a year and we couldn't be happier! She is so happy to go in and can even get sad at pick up time because she is having so much fun! The staff are absolutely amazing, they are always happy and up beat and really take the time to get to know you as a family and
your child. There is always different activities going on and there is a different theme everyweek making it exciting for the childen (and parents). Handovers are very informative and they are always happy to answer any questions! The staff really do make this nursery!
My daughter is aways saying how much she enjoys the food, she is now eating so much more than before and trying all new foods.
Management at RAFA are also lovely, very approachable and no request is too big.
It is a fab little nursery and I would definitely recommend to any one in the area!

We couldn't be happier with the care our daughter receives at this nursery. The staff are absolutely fantastic, warm, kind, and genuinely caring. It's clear how much they value each child and we've seen our daughter thrive under their attentive support. Each week brings a new and exciting theme, whether
it's exploring the sea, learning about animals, dinosaurs, or understanding important values including kind hands which we now use at home. Activities are thoughtfully planned and beautifully delivered. It's been amazing to watch our daughter come home excited, and shattered from all the activities. Our daughter always enjoys the food, and we appreciate knowing that she's getting nutritious, well-balanced meals while in their care often all+!
Most importantly, we feel complete trust in the team to give our daughter the highest level of care. It's a warm, nurturing environment that truly puts children first, and we're so grateful to be part of this nursery community

I just wanted to take the time to give some recognition to the team at RAFA Kidz Worthy Down.

As im sure all parents are, my wife and I were initially apprehensive about which nursery to choose for our little daughter but we are beyond grateful that we made the right choice. Our little girl has

developed so much in her short time there, we have seen her personality really blossom and we know it is due to the hardwork and dedication of the staff. The nursery like all nurseries is just a building but it is the staff that really go the extra mile to ensure our daughter is not only cared for but flourishing daily. Our little girl doesn't love the nursery she loves the staff and we can see why.

Unfortunately I am limited to only 1000 characters but I would just like to say to anyone reading this if you have any reservations about RAFA Kidz, go and visit. I couldn't thank the team enough and my only regret is I wont be able to keep my little girl at this age and there forever.

This nursery is bloody fantastic!
My child didn't have long to settle into the nursery (my fault) and she was quite upset initially, as is usual for young children. However, my child's key person got to know my child and their interests and created bespoke activities she was interested in, in order
to help her settle. This was beyond my expectations, and I was very very impressed.
Every single member of staff is a delight- so, so lovely and they really care for all the children.
I've spoken to other parents outside the nursery and they feel the same. You can see that all the children are very happy here. This nursery is a hidden gem!
My daughter wasn't a huge eater before she attended this setting, but the food she has tried and eaten here is phenomenal. They even have their own chef! I've seen the food and it looks delicious. My child has changed so much- she has learned to trust other adults due to the kindness of the nursery staff.
I highly highly recommend this nursery.

Current Review Score: 9.1 (9.109)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.1 (9.109) out of 10 for RAFA Kidz Worthy Down is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 5 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.2 out of 5 from 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.933 for RAFA Kidz Worthy Down is calculated as follows: ( (56 Excellents x 5) + (4 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 60 Ratings = 4.933
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.176 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for RAFA Kidz Worthy Down is based on 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.5
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 37 number of registered child places is 7.4. 5 Positive Reviews ÷ 7.4 = 0.676
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
