RAFA Kidz is a friendly, safe space for babies and young children to grow and develop all the while involving parents; keeping us up to date with learning and special moments. Activities, food/weaning, exploration and development are considered even for young babies like my 9mo.

My daughter has been at RAFA Kidz Cosford for almost a month and I am incredibly impressed with everything so far. Admin communication has been helpful in regards to days requested. The staff are caring and passionate about child development. The safeguarding measures in place are reassuring for any parent. On every collection so far my daughter has been happy and I've had an informative handover. They also use the app to update you on their and including a weekly update on activities they have done hitting all the criteria in the early years education.

My son has recently started at RAFA Kidz Cosford. Such a smooth transition into nursery. From the registration, settling in sessions and to starting at nursery. The staff are extremely supportive and are very quick to respond. I have recently started work and have felt at ease leaving my baby at this nursery. He has been there briefly and already he has matured very much, getting more confident with saying a few words and his play and interactions have improved.

We had two settling in days before they started, we were so amazed by the place.
They have been attending since September 2024 and they absolutely love the place and we do also.
Everyone is so welcoming and nice, it's so comforting for us to know we can leave the boys and they will have the best time.
They have both come along so much with such little time spent there already and we can't thank the team enough for all they do for us.

RAFA Kidz Cosford is a beautiful nursery, I had a lot of anxiety about sending my son to nursery as he is only 11 months old but they really put you at ease. I love reading the updates of what he gets up to while he is there and seeing the photos, he always looks so happy. All the staff are so amazing and so caring. Sending my son to RAFA Kidz was definitely the best decision I have made for my son as I know he is well looked after and developing well I can't recommend this nursery enough.

My daughter has been with RAFA Kidz Cosford since she was 8 months old and she has come on so much with the support of the staff and her key workers. My son has been attending Rafa Kidz Cosford since late August 2024, he is so happy to go each day, he always enters the room with a smile. The staff are great in both of the rooms he has been in, they are all very friendly. The activities the children do are varied and enjoyable. It's a great nursery, we very much recommend it.

RAFA Kidz Cosford is a wonderful place for my son, the staff are amazing. We're always greeted and made to feel welcome. I would highly recommend. It is such a safe place with lots of fun activities for my son to join in with. He's becoming a bright boy with the help of his practitioners.

Both of my children attend this nursery and love it. It is such a relief dropping our boys off knowing they are very well looked after with a great range of daily activities, what I also love is that we are continually updated throughout the day and can see what they have been up to. The staff have been great in supporting us with our eldest who is currently potty training and has really helped with his journey and can't do enough to support this. Great job to all the staff at Rafa Kidz Cosford!

This is an incredible nursery. They are brilliant at working hard to make sure the nursery is up to great standards. Members of staff are welcoming and very friendly. There are so many activities for my child to play with as well as many planned day activities for parents to participate in by joining their children even if just for a couple of hours.

My little girl has had the most wonderful nursery experience so far she started in February 2024. All her key workers have been incredible, caring and supportive. They give daily feedback on development and learning. The app used by the nursery also gives you peace of mind. It is very informative, and gives weekly learning journeys, wow moments and daily logs. Overall we have had an excellent experience.

Since my son joined RAFA Kidz Cosford all the staff have been absolutely amazing with him in helping him come out of his shell and enjoy his time at nursery and helping and supporting him with his potty training and praising him and making him happy and smile. Since then, we have loved knowing the activities our daughter is taking part in on a daily basis, the amount of time they spend outside is so great and the meals are super varied and healthy. As well as having access to the sensory room.
I appreciate how proactive the nursery is with improving things, taking the children out for little outings around the local area, having parents coffee mornings, stay and play sessions and parents evenings.
It is also encouraged each week to all parents to introduce a new sign to help with communication with our children. I was apprehensive before my daughter started nursery but would 100% recommend RAFA Kidz Cosford.

The communication has improved and the overall look of the nursery is better. The staff have always had a genuine care for the children who attend and I really do feel that my child is properly looked after and has all her needs met.
The staff engage great with parents and have the family's best interest at heart.
The food offered is nice and varied and in my experience, there has never been an issue with meeting dietary requirements.
The outdoor spaces are suitable and the children will spend as much time outside as possible should the weather allow for it!

Meet the Team (6)
Rachael has worked for RAFA Kidz since 2024 and has been in Early Years for over 30 years. During her time in Early Years, she has gained a wealth of experience from the different settings she has worked in. Rachael is NNEB qualified, Pediatric First Aid trained, Forest School and ELKLAN trained and is also the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the nursery.
Aimee has worked for RAFAKidz since April 2024 and has been in the industry since 2016. She has a wealth of experience, from being a student to working her way up to becoming Deputy Manager.
Aimee holds her Levels 2 & 3 and is our SENDCo for the settling, Level 3 forest school leader and Deputy Designated Safeguard lead.
Hi my name is Ellie and I have worked at Rafa Kidz Cosford since April 2024 when it opened. I have my level 2 and level 3 child care qualification since 2019 and have worked my way up to being baby room leader. I have always worked in baby room and enjoy watching the babies grow and develop into the happy little children. I have my first aid qualification and baby room training.
Elaine has worked at RAFAKIDZ since it opened in April 2024. Elaine has a wealth of knowledge from all of her previous settings that she has been it. Elaine has been in the childcare industry for over 30 years and loves what she does.
Elaine holds her level 3 in childcare and is a paediatric first aider within the setting.
Lorraine is a level 6 early years practitioner. Lorraine has a BA Hons Degree in Early Childhood Studies. She has her paediatric first aid and a wealth of knowledge.
Kulvir has worked at RAFAKIDZ since April 2024. She has been a teacher in a mainstream school, specialising in early years for the past 13 years.
Kulivr holds a QTS in Education and Early Years, paediatric first aider and also has a leadership qualification
