Our son started Blue Ryder end of January. We are first time parents so starting nursery was a big transition for him and for us. We instantly felt that the staff are genuinely very caring towards him. His two key workers are wonderful and he formed an immediate attachment with them. He was fussy with
his diet prior to starting but now eats a fantastic range of food and is very food orientated. We love seeing the updates on the app as it gives us peace of mind seeing how much he has slept, ate, drank and had nappy changes. The photos and videos have made it easier returning to work after mat leave and knowing that he is having fun. The administrator is very responsive. The staff are always open and transparent when he's had any challenges or a bad day. We have noticed lots of positive changes with his development and communication. It was important for us to chose a nursery that is multicultural and that supports diversity. As same sex parents we have found the nursery inclusive.

Absolutely fantastic nursery. Amazing in every way.

Old Crofts Bank was always our first choice for our little boy, ever since we first looked around. The facilities are brilliant (the garden is in a league of its own!), the staff are friendly, kind and caring and the whole vibe of the nursery just

feels 'safe'. Like when facilities claim to have a 'home from home' feel, Old Crofts Bank actually deliver it.

I couldn't recommend this place enough.

Fantastic nursery that I would highly recommend. The staff go above and beyond caring for the children, supporting their development and building their confidence. We moved to the area and viewed a number of nurseries and Old Crofts Bank just felt right. Both my children have attended and love going
to the nursery. The garden is a brilliant size and sectioned off for each of the age groups. The rooms are bright, clean and spacious. And the staff are lovely, friendly and super caring.

The staff consistently go above and beyond to care for my child and are always warm and friendly. I feel completely confident that my child is both physically and emotionally safe in their care. Any concerns I have as a parent are always listened to, and the team is very supportive when it comes to
developmental needs.
My child is always happy to attend nursery, settles in well, and has formed lovely friendships. The nursery manager is very hands-on, and the setting is well run, with plenty of events that invite parents and extended family to be involved in the children's learning and environment.

We've had a very positive experience with this nursery and are really happy with the care our son receives. The staff are kind, approachable, and very responsive, especially when it comes to his health. They keep us informed and provide reassurance when he's unwell, which is incredibly comforting.

There's

a real sense of trust, and it's clear the team genuinely care about the children. The management is hands-on and engaged, often interacting with the children and clearly knowing them well.

The new garden is fantastic and will be a great space for the summer. We also appreciate how they listen to parent feedback, such as improving lighting in the car park during darker months.

Overall, it's been a great experience and we would highly recommend this nursery.

Our daughter has been attending crofts bank for 7 months now and she loves it, we literally have to chase her round the room at the end of the day to get her home.
They do a tonne of outside play, have a wide variety of food that we wouldn't even think of serving, the staff are friendly and attentive,
our daughter loves Ella in particular.
They get monthly activity craft bags to take home with them and the regular photo updates keep our week going.
Our daughter has come on a huge amount since joining here and would recommend to anyone in the area.

The staff at this nursery have worked really hard to make our toddler feel more comfortable and confident going to nursery. It is noticeable how they all seem to have a bond with him. Even on drop offs and pick ups, the staff greet you with a smile and always say hello to our son. The learning and activities
are fun, and the food menus are very varied. I would perhaps like to see a few more activities revolving around sport and games? Possibly when reaching an older age group. I would recommend this nursery to other parents.

We love Old Crofts Bank - our son is very shy and a fussy eater - and we've really appreciated the care & patience they show with him every week.

The staff are always helpful and have a smile on their face. Our son's key workers have always formed a lovely bond with him and it's really helped him

to form trust and also come out of his shell a little more.

Special mentions for Gill and Ant at OCB as well

Excellent nursery! My little boy is very happy here. The staff are incredibly caring and attentive, always making sure the children feel safe and supported. They create a wide range of lovely activities and engaging learning opportunities that really help the children grow and develop. The management
team is also very helpful and well-organised. I would highly recommend this nursery to other parents.

Our son has been at Alexandra Park for almost 2 years and loves it there, always running in and excited to go to nursery. The staff are so friendly and caring, they have been great with everything from room transitions, potty training support, naps, and fantastic communication on what they're up to
both through the app or happy to chat as long as you want at pick up. We love the outdoor space and variety of activities as well as Spanish exposure. The annual art exhibition is also lovely. We have been very grateful with flexibility with changing days, which has been another huge help. This nursery isn't the closest to our home but we chose it over viewing others in Didsbury/Withington and have been extremely happy with our decision and seeing our son flourish there. Highly recommend!

We have only joined the nursery beginning of the month but the experience has been great so far. Really easy to reach to for admin related questions over the phone and really great support when it comes to settling in. As a first time parent it has been a journey sending our one year old to nursery
but the support has been amazing and she is starting to love it 2 weeks in! I also appreciated the possibility to give the nursery a ring to check how she is getting on during the day.

We and our little one love this nursery, he's been going full time since he was 12 months old. He's connected brilliantly to key workers. Care and attention provided is above and beyond what we expected. Great food also. As a first time parent and the anxiety that comes with that I could not have asked
for more. Thank you Crofts Bank Nursery for being brilliant.

The search for a nursery for our daughter wasn't an easy one, but when we chose "old crofts" it felt like everything fell into place.

It was a hard transition for me as mother, leaving my daughter to work but I felt very relaxed with the level of care she received.

The staff team are really supportive

and amazing and you can tell that they form special bonds with the children. The management is also very responsive and professional. The team is also diverse and that was a bonus for us.

Overall, I haven't felt any regrets for choosing old crofts.

My daughter is so happy at Old Crofts Bank! So much so that she doesn't want to leave when I pick her up and she asks to go when it's the weekend. Each person that works in the nursery knows your child's name even if they don't work in their room it's amazing. I enjoy a little chat in the morning with
the key workers when I drop my daughter off too they are so welcoming and easy to talk to.
I recommend the nursery to everyone who asks, never had any issues

We love this nursery, and so does our 1-year-old. The staff are brilliant, and the nursery is much bigger than others locally, with a lovely outdoor space and gardens. It's close to Alexandra Park and has parking right outside. This can be a bit busy, but you never wait more than a couple of minutes
for a space. There are always creative activities going on from painting to light shows and sensory rooms. The food is also amazing, it's a chef prepared vegetarian menu which changes all the time. I would highly recommend to other parents in South Manchester!

My child has been attending The learning hive since he was 9 months and is now 3 years old. The development I have noticed in my child since coming to the nursery has been amazing. The staff are all nurturing and welcoming and my child has created a great bond with them!
I feel like the facilities
within the nursery help aid in further learning and the regular updates/ pictures via the app are lovely to see.
I also wanted to note how helpful the team has been in accommodating our needs as family with my childs schedule. My child absolutely loves it here and he has also made some amazing friends!
