Our experience so far at Hermitage Nursery School has been positive, the staff are friendly and easy to approach with any worries or advice needed. Our daughters development and ongoing skill-learning is down to the commitment of the staff and also their patience each and every day.

Handover with my little one can be tough but staff are always ready for her tears and within minutes she is settled. She loves the outdoors and time spent on the slide or the sandpit are her best memories. I'm certain her confidence and learning have been increased by the kindness and care shown to her intellectual and personal development. It's still a great place to bring your children.

Nothing bad to say here. This nursery has been an absolute foundation for my daughter. They are attentive and understanding. Any queries I have are dealt with promptly and efficiently. They allow my child to fulfil her creativity and be her own little self. The staff are friendly and co operative. Honestly as a mum to have to go to work to sustain our family and put her in nursery full time was a heartbreaking decision. But as a mum to know my daughter is safe, well and happy enjoying experiences I could not provide when working, it is a weight lifted off my shoulders. I can't thank all these staff enough

Since starting at the nursery in 2024, we highly recommend this nursery. The staff develop lovely bonds with the children and adjust to their needs when required. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and our little one loves going each week.

Outdoor activities are very good; love the variety of learning and play

Absolutely wonderful nursery! The staff are so lovely, caring and attentive, and they have made our little girl Nicole feel so happy and comfortable from day one.

The Storal curriculum is a massive benefit to my child - seeing the leaps in development across all areas is truly a testament to the work of the staff at Hermitage. My child thrives there, and the staff are highly attentive to both her needs and safety. Communication with parents is always in the minds of the staff, and we remain impressed at the consistently high level of care and safeguarding provided for the children. The range of food, activities, and socialisation my child is exposed to is unmatchable, and I can't image her at any other nursery setting. We knew from the first time we viewed Hermitage that it felt the right place for her, and we've never once felt any differently.

We have been completely satisfied with the nursery since my daughter started attending 6 months ago. She loves all of the staff and equally I can see how much they care for her. They do activities which really help her development and lots of outdoor play. They also provide fresh healthy meals which is a huge bonus. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

The experience at Children's 1st has been great. Every staff member that we come into contact with is kind and helpful and we know for sure that our daughter is being well looked after. It is a great comfort to know that she is surrounded by such kind people. They've made the transition from parental leave to working again much easier knowing that our daughter is in safe hands.

I previously gave this nursery a 5 star review before Storal took over, however since then the quality and standards have massively dropped. The key workers within each room continue to do a great job as best they can, however management and the Storal group do not care about complaints raised by parents. You will be given generic responses and they hide behind terms and conditions which themselves contradict each other.

My child has been at the nursery since 6 months old and is due to start school this year, and we have seen first hand the dramatic decline: a lack of observations, feedback not being taken on board, a lack of information for parents, high staff turnover, and constant changes in management, all of which started once Storal got involved.

If you are looking at a nursery for your child, you would be best to find somewhere else, at least whilst Storal continue to run it.

My boy has attended this setting since September 2023. The staff throughout the nursery have been great with my boy; it is reassuring when he looks forward to going. The staff offer great oversight of his daily goings-ons. The app and the wider 'family' community is great for development updates, and to track his progression for numbers, music, hand skills, interaction, speech etc. The nursery always enjoys getting parents involved and the setup that they have estabilshed is first class. Since the settling in session, Esha has been very supportive in ensuring that we felt at ease and would communicate with us throughout the day. That made us feel very reassured and supported.

Miss Jordan, Esha and miss Sara in the baby room are outstanding. We Cannot thank them enough for the warmth, care and support they have given to our daughter. From the first time we met them we felt so reassured they would provide a good level of care, but they have all done so much more! we are so grateful to them all and cannot thank them enough . Our daughter has thrived under their care and we were genuinely sad to see her leave the room. Thank you again!

The progress my son has made since attending has been amazing. His learning and understanding have come on so much, and I truly feel that he is now confident and fully ready to start school. The support and encouragement from the team have played a huge part in that.

My son has attended Chidrens First at Syston since he was 1 and now the time is nearing where he will soon be leaving to start school. The support, knowledge and compassion of the team is amazing and my little boy is growing and developing with a confident, bubbly personality. I know this is all down to the fantastic staff that work in each of the rooms he has been part of helping him thrive and my husband and I are grateful to them for everything they do for him each day he is there.
