I cannot recommend the baby room at Nara Charlbury enough! My daughter started here when she was 9 months old, and I was naturally a bit nervous about the transition. However, I was blown away by how quickly she settled in; the environment is so nurturing that she felt at home almost immediately.
There
are a few things that really set this nursery apart:
The Staff: The team is incredibly friendly, warm, and professional. You can tell they genuinely care about the children, which gave me so much peace of mind from day one.
The Space: The baby room itself is a beautiful, calming, and well-designed space. It's clearly been thought out to encourage exploration while staying cozy.
Weaning Support: They have been amazing partners in our weaning journey, following our lead and supporting her development with food so patiently.
Flexibility: They have been so accommodating and flexible with our needs, which is a huge help for working parents.

Nara Charlbury is a wonderful nursery setting. My son attended from the age of 10 months until 2.5yrs and was looked after so beautifully. He thrived at the nursery and the nursery staff were warm, loving, attentive, and very supportive to me as a parent. I felt comfortable and confident leaving him
in their care while I had to go back to work. The manager Amelia is outstanding, and a true gatekeeper and responsible figure at the helm. I always knew that the children and nursery staff were being looked after and cared for to a very high standard. The meals and food throughout the day were exceptional and this is a major part that I will miss. My son wouid eat two or three helpings of his yummy home cooked lunches and teas at Nära and he was always so happy when I watched him eating with his peers around the table when I arrived early for pick up. My Daughter has spent 2 years at Nara Horton and I can highly recommend them. All of the staff are extremely caring and several built a fantastic rapport with my Daughter. The nursery has fantastic resources and offers a large range of activities for the Children, such as cookery sessions and forest
school time. The garden is deceptively large and is a lovely space within which the Children can play.
My Daughter has really enjoyed a wide range of delicious home cooked meals that are made on-site with fresh ingredients.
Overall Nara Horton has a lovely homely feeling with a fantastic team delivering great care and I can't recommend this nursery enough!

I only have good things to say about Nara Horton. I feel that our 2-year old is very well cared for and supported to play and explore. The staff are absolutely fantastic, they are happy and engaging, and they take the time to treat each child as an individual and to understand the needs and likes of
every single one.
There are always a wide range of imaginative activities set up and adapted throughout the day, with great variation from baking to building to playing out stories. The outdoor gardens are another highlight and fab for exploring and experimenting.
The nursery management are as wonderful as the staff, with superb communication and flexibility and genuine care for continuous improvement and doing things the right way.

Nära Horton Nursery has been a wonderful part of our lives for nearly six years. Both of our children have thrived in this nurturing, friendly setting. The staff are incredibly kind and genuinely care for each child, creating a warm, home-from-home environment.


The outdoor space and Forest School

are fantastic, surrounded by trees, and the children spend lots of time exploring and enjoying the fresh air. Indoors, the activities are varied and engaging, always tailored to support learning through play.


The team are excellent at encouraging each child's development at their own pace, helping to build confidence, independence, and a love of learning. We love the app, which keeps us up to date with daily photos and updates, helping us stay connected.


The food is nutritious and well-balanced, and the children are even involved in making some on occasions!


We're incredibly grateful for the care, support, and memories the team has given us.

We have been using this nursery since 2022 and had the best experience throughout. Their staff are well trained and their attention to details is outstanding. My kids have learned so much while attending.
The nursery is well managed and led. They ensure to use the latest tech to keep parents informed
of all their kids activities. I highly recommend this nursery.

Nara Nursery in Horton has been an absolute blessing for my two-year-old. From day one, the staff have been incredibly welcoming, making the transition smooth and stress-free. Their warmth and dedication truly stand out, and my child adores attending every day.
Their nurturing environment is exceptional,
filled with engaging activities that support learning, creativity, and social development. Since joining, I've seen remarkable growth in my child's confidence and independence. The team communicates wonderfully, keeping me updated on daily routines, milestones, and progress.
The facilities are well-maintained, safe, and thoughtfully designed to cater to young children's needs. The outdoor play space is a fantastic addition, allowing little ones to explore and stay active.

Eight months ago our son started in Nära and we can honestly said we can't find any problems at all. The staff have always been amazing and very nice to the kids. Our son loves to go there, loves the food they cooked and enjoy a lot in the playground. Everything is in a very good condition and clean.
For a first experience nursery our child and ourselves are very happy.

My son has been attending Nära Charlbury since December 2024, and our experience has been exceptional. The staff's dedication to caring for and nurturing each child is apparent in their warm greetings and personalised attention. They know each child and parent by name and are well-acquainted with the
children's individual needs and preferences. We receive regular contact throughout the day regarding our child's activities and well-being, and we also receive observations and feedback as he progresses into new milestones. As my son started nursery on the earlier side, the staff have been very supportive as we navigated feeding him solids, weaning and improving his sleep routine. The nursery also provides nutritious meals and engages the children in creative activities, both indoors and outdoors, fostering a safe and stimulating environment for exploration. Seeing our son thrive and feel so at home at Nära is everything to us, and we are very happy with our choice.

Nara Charlbury has been a breath of fresh air for our family. My four-month-old started in February, and from day one, the warmth and care from the staff were incredible. Amelia was so understanding when I wasn't ready in January, offering support without pressure. The entire team is kind, attentive,
and truly knows every child and their family. The nursery is spotless, constantly cleaned beyond expectations. A particular staff member is so sweet, and the chef is amazing-she accommodates my daughter's allergies perfectly. Two particular staff members are truly meant for this work, creating a nurturing space. I highly recommend Nara Charlbury for exceptional childcare! Well done to every single one of the staff members from the toddler room to the the person who cleans. I would highly recommend you send your child here. They will be loved and cherished.

Our child started Grimsbury when it first opened having come from another nursery. One thing we love about Grimsbury is the open door policy which means you feel really part of your child day to day nursery journey. You get to know the staff & parents well. The staff members have been excellent throughout
& our boy has come on so much during his time at Grimsbury. As a family we have had an excellent experience and that is all down to the staff members and friends our boy has made, thank you!

My little girl started at Grimsbury Manor in June 2024 when she turned 12 months old, and it has been a wonderful experience. Her confidence and development have grown significantly, and she often surprises us with new skills she could only have learned at nursery. The team regularly organise fun activities
and ensures the children get outdoor play. They've built a strong bond with my daughter and always make an effort to greet her, even if they're not in her room. I'm also really pleased with the nutritious and varied menu. The app has been fantastic, providing live updates on nappy changes, naps, meals and a daily photo. It makes me feel involved and well-informed about her day. The team also provides a thorough update when I collect her.
I would highly recommend Grimsbury Manor to any parent.

We joined today to the messy play which was really fun for the children. They had a lot of fun. Very creative activities. Good for the parents to meet other parents too. We look forward to the next meeting.

Friendly staff, comfortable environment, children seem very happy and making friends. Focused on development, though our previous setting seemed to progress my son's learning in a more tailored manner. Outside space is good, though limited equipment. Early drop off not regularly available.
