My daughter has been going here since she was 1 and she is now nearly 3 & a half. She truly loves going to nursery & has made some really adorable friendships. The staff are always friendly to myself and all the children, they are always quick to help even without being asked. I love the independence the children get as they get older to help them learn skills such as dressing and toileting alone. Really great communication across the board, and the food they offer throughout the day always sounds enjoyable and healthy. I'll be truly sad when it's time to leave for school.

Our daughter is in the toddler room and has been going to Hemsley House since she was 1 yrs old. We have been really impressed with the nursery; how friendly and welcoming the staff are each day, how communicative they are and the experiences they offer the children. The food must be excellent as I hear seconds are often requested! My little one has never made a fuss going in and is always a happy girl on pick up. Thank you Hemsley House for doing such a great job.

We have had a couple of little blips over our journey, however it hasn't been anything we can't resolve some communication. Management have been amazing during these times. I would recommend to a friend or family member.

Overall, the staff are amazing and obviously care for all of the children at nursery. Unfortunately, they have been through many leadership changes during my son's time there which has lead to communication issues along with a disjointed approach to his care.

Our child has attended Hemsley House for the last couple of years, and we have loved seeing him thrive and develop during that time. He is happy and settled, making positive relationships with both adults and children. My husband and I are confident that when issues arise, we can address these and work with the setting to find appropriate outcomes. The routines, activities and general atmosphere of the nursery has certainly helped our child grow in confidence.

My son had a wonderful time at Hemsley House. Although he can be anxious with new activities and he had a challenging start, the staff took very good care of him and made him settle really nicely. He is very sad to end this chapter, but he will have a great foundation for reception and wonderul memories from Hemsley House.

We'll be sad to see our eldest leave, but it's lovely knowing our youngest is just starting her time here. We're very happy we chose this nursery for our girls and would happily recommend it.

Ickle Pickles has been great for my son. He's gained in confidence and has lots of engaging activities to do everyday. All the staff have been amazing and supportive. I would highly recommend this nursery.

We are extremely grateful for the outstanding care and support our child has received. The team has been incredibly patient, understanding, and attentive, especially in helping her with potty training alongside her neurodivergent needs. They have taken a truly personalised approach, adapting strategies to suit her pace and ensuring she feels comfortable, safe, and encouraged at every step. The consistency they've helped establish between nursery and home has made a huge difference in her progress.

What stands out most is their genuine compassion and commitment. The staff go above and beyond to create an inclusive, nurturing environment where every child is supported to thrive. Their communication with us as parents has also been excellent - always keeping us informed and involved. We've seen a significant boost in her confidence and independence, and that is largely thanks to the dedication of the team. We couldn't recommend them highly enough.

We're extremely happy with this nursery. The staff and management are kind, supportive, and attentive, helping with everything from daily needs to potty training support. It feels like a second home for our child, and we've seen great positive growth. Highly recommended.

Pre school team of Alison and Blossom has helped my son settle in very well after he moved from a different nursery. Sophie made this transition really easy for us as a family, always available to answer any questions that we had.

Both my children attend Hemsley House and massively enjoy their time there. The staff are great and friendly, with efficient handover information given when collecting. The activities my kids are involved in are great and the variety of food received is healthy and balanced.

I couldn't recommend Hemsley House highly enough - it's a fantastic nursery with a team that genuinely cares about every child and family.

I found this little nursery when I moved to the area with my son and it was THE best choice. Not only has my son thrived whilst he's been under the care of the Hemsley Team, they have provided me with unwavering support. They work WITH me and not against me (something I found with his previous nurseries). They listen and respond and ALWAYS have my son's best interests at heart. Hemsley is the best choice and I'm so glad I chose them.

My baby girl started in jan and she has come on massively with her development. The ladies in the baby room are so caring and always go above and beyond. I felt reassured leaving my girl in their care. The staff at hemsley are absolutely lovely and always make you feel so settled and welcomed. Id highly recommend.

My daughter attend this nursery since October 2025. From beginning of her journey she was welcomed by her new nursery members with love, kindness and care. Although I went through lots of difficult times, Claire the manger was very kind, supportive and understanding with my needs , and she was able to help with all the invoices, funding options and even writing a letter to support my daughter's benefit entitlement. I am truly grateful for all their support.

My son felt welcome and happy being at Ickle Pickles nursey school. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. I have seen a big different with my son learning, he started make more sentences and he enjoy playing with he new friends. I do think this is the best nursey and I'm happy to put my daughter down for next year.

My little boy started here after moving from a different area back in April. When we came to view, they were really friendly and welcoming. Transition went really well, and it was like he had always been there. My boy loves it there and is thriving! He adores the staff. They accommodate his dietary needs. Including during baking sessions.

A wonderful nursery. My daughter has developed so much since starting here and is so happy every time I pick her up. The staff are exceptional and really care for every single child. I do not have a single bad thing to comment on and no areas of improvement from me! Amazing facilities, amazing communication and amazing staff!

Connie & Faye are our stand out carers in the nursery. Our little man loves them and is always got a full smile on when he sees them. You can see the love and care they give to him during the day and puts our minds at ease when having to leave him.
