Absolutely fantastic nursery. Amazing in every way.

Old Crofts Bank was always our first choice for our little boy, ever since we first looked around. The facilities are brilliant (the garden is in a league of its own!), the staff are friendly, kind and caring and the whole vibe of the nursery just feels 'safe'. Like when facilities claim to have a 'home from home' feel, Old Crofts Bank actually deliver it.

Fantastic nursery that I would highly recommend. The staff go above and beyond caring for the children, supporting their development and building their confidence. We moved to the area and viewed a number of nurseries and Old Crofts Bank just felt right. Both my children have attended and love going to the nursery. The garden is a brilliant size and sectioned off for each of the age groups. The rooms are bright, clean and spacious. And the staff are lovely, friendly and super caring.

My child is always happy to attend nursery, settles in well, and has formed lovely friendships. The nursery manager is very hands-on, and the setting is well run, with plenty of events that invite parents and extended family to be involved in the children's learning and environment.

We've had a very positive experience with this nursery and are really happy with the care our son receives. The staff are kind, approachable, and very responsive, especially when it comes to his health. They keep us informed and provide reassurance when he's unwell, which is incredibly comforting.

There's a real sense of trust, and it's clear the team genuinely care about the children. The management is hands-on and engaged, often interacting with the children and clearly knowing them well.

The new garden is fantastic and will be a great space for the summer. We also appreciate how they listen to parent feedback, such as improving lighting in the car park during darker months.

Overall, it's been a great experience and we would highly recommend this nursery.

my little boy has been here since 1, all the staff are so personable they really know him like we do, they know what he likes and he feels so safe and secure going in, the garden space is amazing especially so he can be out in nature. Would highly recommend and the management are so helpful

Our daughter has come on a huge amount since joining here and would recommend to anyone in the area.

The staff at this nursery have worked really hard to make our toddler feel more comfortable and confident going to nursery. It is noticeable how they all seem to have a bond with him. Even on drop offs and pick ups, the staff greet you with a smile and always say hello to our son. The learning and activities are fun, and the food menus are very varied. I would perhaps like to see a few more activities revolving around sport and games? Possibly when reaching an older age group. I would recommend this nursery to other parents.

We love Old Crofts Bank - our son is very shy and a fussy eater - and we've really appreciated the care & patience they show with him every week.

The staff are always helpful and have a smile on their face. Our son's key workers have always formed a lovely bond with him and it's really helped him to form trust and also come out of his shell a little more.

Lovely nursery with caring, supportive staff who make the children feel valued. The outdoor space is fantastic - safe, spacious and perfect for play and exploration. My son loves coming here and his confidence, speech and personality have grown considerably.

Excellent Nursery, great staff and our child loves it. She's made friends and has grown so much as a result. She always is happy when going in and loves to tell us about how much fun she's having there as well

We and our little one love this nursery, he's been going full time since he was 12 months old. He's connected brilliantly to key workers. Care and attention provided is above and beyond what we expected. Great food also. As a first time parent and the anxiety that comes with that I could not have asked for more. The search for a nursery for our daughter wasn't an easy one, but when we chose "old crofts" it felt like everything fell into place.

It was a hard transition for me as mother, leaving my daughter to work but I felt very relaxed with the level of care she received.

The staff team are really supportive and amazing and you can tell that they form special bonds with the children. The management is also very responsive and professional. The team is also diverse and that was a bonus for us.

Overall, I haven't felt any regrets for choosing old crofts.

This is a brilliant nursery I couldn't be happier with the care my daughter is receiving. It is like a home away from home. My daughter is so happy going there and has made lots of friends and learning lots too. The nursery employees are so kind and supportive and go above and beyond looking after the children in their care (and their parents!)

OCB has been like a home from home for both our children over the last 4 years. The setting is beautifully equipped to meet the developing needs of the children and feels very homely. The staff are amazing and welcoming and go above and beyond to make the children feel settled and content. The communication is great and they are always looking at ways to improve things through things like parents' forum and additional family days etc. I would highly recommend OCB to anyone looking for a safe, welcoming space to leave their children.

This nursery is great and staff are extremely good at looking after my little ones. Both of my children attended/are attending this nursery. It is lovely and everyone is kind and patient to my children. I feel confident to leave my baby here.

Fantastic staff and environment. My son loves every day at nursery, he is always doing something exciting and fun. The staff are warm welcoming and more like friends/family. He is excited to arrive every day and does not want to leave, it allows us to work without any guilt, he is happy well cared for and has developed so much. All the staff are involved, know who we are and what has been happening at home, the stay and play sessions are excellent. I couldn't recommend them any more.

My daughter is my second child to come to Old Croft Bank nursery and I would 100% recommend sending your child here. The staff are amazing and so is the chef. The meals they prepare are of huge variety and most days, I am envious of the choice they have. The play areas are great inside and out. One of the great things is that the garden is big and not overlooked. My daughter came after covid at 18 months so she knows the majority of the staff, she misses nursery when she isn't there and even named her doll after one of the carers. I picked Old Croft Bank nursery years ago because of it's home from home feel. If you have the time just book to look around and you won't regret it. The app they use is great too, daily pictures and updates to what they are upto is a great tool.

My child has been attending Old Crofts Bank for the past year and we are really pleased with it. He has settled in really well, all of the staff are lovely and everyone is always very friendly. We viewed a lot of other nurseries in the area and chose OCB due to the staff, the outdoor provision and the number of rooms provided for different age groups. He always has a great time at nursery and often doesn't want to come home as he's too busy having fun!
