My daughter loves the lindens and her teachers. They care for her and treat her with love and genuine attention. However my child is on the quiet side and sometimes I do feel she gets lost or staff aren't sure on how to engage her properly. Other than this kids are always clean and happy and the nursery has undergone a new renovation so the facilities are wonderful and safe

My eldest daughter attended this nursery and now my second daughter attends. I love it just as much now as I did then! My daughter is only 1 but gets SO excited to go to nursery in a morning. So much so, I can use it as a bargaining chip to get her to put her shoes on, etc!! She's got a wonderful bond with all the staff and gets really happy to see them all. Will 100% also be sending my son when I return to work in January!

Communication with parents is excellent, and we always feel informed about what our child has been doing and how they're progressing. The activities are engaging and varied, and the outdoor spaces are fantastic. We couldn't be happier with the care and education our child receives and would highly recommend Children's 1st Plumtree Nursery School to any parent looking for a caring, professional and friendly. My son thoroughly enjoys his time there and is always excited to go in each day. It's so reassuring as a parent to know he's in such a nurturing and supportive environment. Thank you to all the wonderful staff in Hedgehogs for everything you do - we couldn't be happier with the care and attention you provide.

Aside from that, I'm really pleased with the nursery and the care they provide.

Lovely and welcoming staff that tailor the day to suit your baby. Adapting to your baby every need and timings. The staff are so friendly and ensure baby is settled and happy. They send regular updates and are on hand to adapt the day around baby needs. From some days having no naps to other days needing 2! I would definitely recommend this nursery.

All four of my children have attended the Lindens (formerly Bright Stars) and I don't trust anybody else with my children the way I do the members of staff here. Every member of staff treat my children as they would their own with endless compassion and love, it's definitely home from home. I've had the pleasure of watching the nursery grow over the last 8 years from a small (but still lovely) nursery to the bigger nursery it is now. I definitely recommend the Lindens to everybody!

The lindens nursery have been fabulous with my little boy. I was so so nervous leaving him for the first time it broke my heart but he absolutely adores it there. He gets so excited to go into nursery and always comes out happy. They provide amazing home cooked meals that he loves and all of the staff are amazing. 100% recommend them.

Lindens is a fantastic nursery and staff have a wonderful child approach and amazing communication with parents informing them and keeping updated with their child's day with regular updates through the app. My daughter thoroughly enjoys coming to nursery and has progressed massively in her development during her time here. The staff are always so supportive and helpful always putting parents at ease.

My daughter started in September 2025 in one of the toddler rooms and she absolutely loves it. Settled so well and she can be quite anxious/quiet so I was really nervous to start off with but she loves every single staff member that works with her not just her key worker and they are all so kind and caring. Everyone is so accommodating, understanding and supportive. I couldn't be more grateful to have found such a wonderful nursery. Will always recommend to others and have any future children attend here.

My daughter is happy to go into the nursery,she loves the time she spends there and all the ladies on her group. She has made a very nice and friendly friend there which she is so excited to be with them every day. Happy with time she goes there. Thank you!

One of the biggest signs of how happy he is there is that he's always excited to go in. It gives us real peace of mind knowing he's in such a supportive and nurturing environment. We're very grateful for all the hard work the team puts in.

I can honestly say, hand on heart, that this is one of the best nurseries around! My little boy has been attending since he was 9 months old, and the experience has been phenomenal. All of the staff in every room are attentive, amazing, and full of so much joy. You can really tell they truly love what they do.

My son absolutely loves going; he has developed such an amazing connection with everyone. They greet him readily at the door and adapt to any needs I put forward without question. Even on days when he wants me to walk him all the way up to his room, they are always accommodating and say yes.

I really cannot thank them enough. He has only just turned 2, but I am already dreading his last day here! Every member of the team goes above and beyond-I cannot emphasize this enough. From the practitioners to the office and catering staff, everyone is incredible. I whole-heartedly recommend this nursery 1000x over and always will

We joined Children 1st in Newark Town back in January 2023 with our eldest, and since then all three of our children have attended. We can't speak highly enough of Children 1st, every member of the team goes above and beyond, and our children have truly thrived in their care. What has stood out most is how the nursery has continued to improve year after year. The staff, the activities, the communication, and the overall environment have all grown stronger. It's been reassuring to see each of our children supported (each with a different need), encouraged, and genuinely cared for. We feel confident every day that they're in a setting that keeps getting better and better. Thanks Children 1st

After a bad experience with a different nursery with my eldest daughter and changing her to this one it's the only place I wanted my youngest to go. All the staff are amazing with what they do and really helped my girls feel like they were in a safe place. Could not recommend this nursery enough!

My daughter loves it at nursery, all the staff are brilliant, they look after her very well, they work closely with children with delays like my daughter which is always reassuring, i have no concerns. Such a beautiful clean environment. 5 star!!

My child has been at Children 1st Newark for nearly 2 years and I can't recommend the nursery enough! The staff are all great, they truly are invested in each and every child. From activities to educational learning they are always planning something new and exciting for the children. Outside play is something that's really important to me and the garden and facilities they have is like non other. As soon as you walk through the door it's such a warm, welcoming and safe environment. I feel so at ease knowing my child is being looked after to the highest quality, the communication and feedback from teachers and management is great. My child is always so happy to go to nursery and as a parent that is the most important thing, overall I am so pleased with the facilities and experience we have had over the past few years and I would recommend to any of my friends and family
