As a first-time parent returning to work, I was naturally very nervous about leaving my child in someone else's care. However, from the moment my child started at this nursery, the staff have been incredibly reassuring and supportive, which has made the transition so much easier for both of us.


My

child truly receives the care and attention they need every single day. The staff clearly take the time to understand each child individually, and it's so reassuring to see how happy, comfortable, and settled my child is when they're there. The team genuinely go above and beyond for the wellbeing and development of the children, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where they can learn, play, and grow with confidence.


My little boys key worker has become one of his new favourite people which shows how much care and kindness is shown everyday.


We couldn't be happier as parents.

My son attends and has really settled in, the staff are brilliant and welcoming! Have done some lovely activities, they have put us as parents at ease that our child is happy when at nursery. Only down side is the menu as this is something our son doesn't enjoy so much, seems as though it is too complex
and nothing he would eat usually at home. Overall this nursery has been fab and our son loves to go!

My son has flourished since joining Children 1st Meir Park, and I couldn't be more grateful for the incredible care he receives in the Jemima Puddleducks baby room. From the moment we walk through the door, the team create such a warm, welcoming, and nurturing atmosphere that he settles instantly and
leaves each day full of smiles.
He absolutely loves spending his days with Lilly and Maisy, who have been nothing short of amazing with him. Their patience, kindness, and genuine affection shine through in everything they do. It's clear how much they care about the children, and the bond they've built with my son means the world to us. Knowing he is so happy and secure with them gives me complete peace of mind.
The progress he's made since starting has been wonderful to see. His confidence has grown, he's becoming more curious and independent, and he's always excited to explore the activities they plan.

The staff at Children 1st go above and beyond in the care of my child. I was apprehensive to leave my child at first but the love and care they have shown has been incredible. The videos, photos and updates throughout the day have been wonderful to see. The staff really make a point of getting to know
each child and their family. It is a wonderful nursery.

We are so incredibly grateful to have found Children's First - Buckinghams Nursery. After two very difficult attempts at settling our little boy into nursery and with a childminder due to separation struggles, we were understandably anxious. From the very beginning, Buckinghams took him under their
wing, giving him the time, patience and reassurance he needed, and he settled far quicker than we ever expected.
Miss Amanda and Miss Katie are truly amazing. They truly care about each child as an individual and go above and beyond to provide comfort and support.
Our little boy is now thriving. He loves going, happily eats and sleeps there, and especially enjoys going outside every day. We feel completely at ease knowing he's in such caring hands and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Our daughter attends childrens 1st at Meir Park, she has been there for a little over 12 months and they have been nothing other than brilliant, my daughter loves going and has built great relationships with the staff, she is thriving being there and the support from her nursery teachers is utterly
amazing, my daughter is behind with her speech due a few potential factors and the staff have always supported her and all of us as a family and have worked with others professionals to help our daughter get the best support. We have no complaints with the care our daughter receives!
Anyone who is looking at sending there child to nursery should 100% consider childrens 1st!

The new system doesn't feed as much information to parents than it previously did. Such as activities and meal that child has eaten or not.
I would love to see more activities but understand the weather has been awful.
Overall I love the progress my child has made and now he now loves going to nursery

My child has attended Meir Park nursery for a year and a half now. Whilst staff continue to be friendly and welcoming, I do feel standards have dropped recently. There seems to be lots of inconsistencies with staffing, my child has had around 4 new key workers over the last 4/5 months which I believe
plays a part in why she no longer wants to go to nursery. Children need this consistency to feel safe and as parents, we need that too, knowing we're leaving our child with someone who knows them and they're comfortable with. Another change we're not happy about is the new menu introduced last year, this really isn't a child friendly menu and staff have commented numerous times on how most of the children don't eat it, I don't think many children do want tofu, organic beans or a mushroom stroganoff. My child now says she doesn't want nursery tea every day before going to nursery. I'm hoping this will be reviewed and a normal menu put back in.

I joined in the stay and play at the nursery. I was very impressed having worked as a teaching assistant myself the level of education the children recieve.Iwas particularly impressed how they allow children to do things independently for example serving themselves their own snacks.
The staff are
always very friendly and always inform you of the child's day e.g if they have been happy and if they have eaten well as well as when they have been upset or not eaten that day.
The staff member on the reception desk is always friendly and chatty and acknowledges the children as they come and go.

They're unbelievably loving and patient. My daughter loves going.
Plenty of feedback every day at pick up times, great food, NO TV!!

My little boy settled in absolutely brilliantly, his first time being in a setting with other children and strangers and they made him feel so welcomed and loved, they always update and are very passionate and caring about each and every one of there children here at Buckinghams, Buckinghams was my
first choice for my son and It's lived up to my expectations, the girls are absolute angels and I feel so at ease dropping him off knowing he's catered for and cared for and loved throughout the day. Even meal times, I was worried due to my boy not taking to the foods but I love how different it all is and it gives them a taste for stuff they wouldn't necessarily have at home, brilliant place with brilliant staff

My son has attended the nursery for just over a month now and he absolutely loves it. All the staff are friendly, you are kept up to date with what is going on and how your child is getting on throughout the day. They are very accommodating. He loves it and that makes me a happy mummy that he enjoys

My daughter has attended Children's 1st Nursery for the last year and has enjoyed every single moment. She was 3 years old when she joined and the team have made her feel welcome and cared for ever since. She has made life long friends, which includes her teachers! Every single member of staff is polite
and cheerful with a smile on their face whenever you cross paths. The team have helped my little girl develop into a confident, independent little person in preparation for her starting "big school"! We will miss the nursery team and all they have to offer, but will be back again soon when my second little girl starts nursery in a year or so, a testament to how truly wonderful the place is. Our Daughters Graduation Ceremony this month was extremely emotional.
A huge event in her life to date and she was always practising her songs at home, the preparation for the children to be front and centre on the stage had taken weeks and clearly a serious commitment from the Nursery team to deliver
something extra special for the parents. The songs, the actions, the slideshow of her and her friends over the last few years made our hearts melt.
My daughter has attended this Nursery for 4 years now and its going to be an emotional day when we walk out of those doors for the last time on the 1st September. We both have known nothing else.
Our daughter is so well adjusted after attending Meir Park Nursery that her school transition days were a breeze, no fuss, no trepidation, they have been prepping her to become a 'schoolie' for months now and she walked into the school head held high and excited to see what the next chapter of her life looks like.

Our Daughter has loved the last 4 years at your nursery. I've always found the nursery to be very clean, staff are really nice and when collecting they always give an honest feedback on how she was that day.


Dropping her off i always felt secure in knowing she would be kept safe and learn lots of

fun new things daily.


She will miss Nursery and the staff, but she has been prepared for reception in the best possible way. She's confident around other children now, made lots of new friends and has a willingness to learn new things.
