The Learning Hive Nursery School

I honestly couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough. It's clear how much they genuinely care for the children, and I feel completely confident leaving my daughter in their care.

I'm really glad we chose the Learning Hive for our little boy!

The staff are amazing and really care for my little girl. They regularly upload pictures of what she is doing throughout the day, provide updates of what she has eaten throughout the day and when she has had a nappy change. They always have a smile on their face and are happy to support with any changes. They accommodate to shift work and school holidays.

Choosing a nursery is a huge decision, and although this one adds an extra 15 minutes to our commute each way, it is absolutely worth it for such outstanding care.

Our daughter loves everyday at nursery and has made lots of friends. Nursery monitor development of key skills with consistent updates and periodic reviews. The staff are always nice and it is easy to communicate with them.

Our Daughter has attended The Learning Hive for a year now and she loves it. She is well fed and cared for and does a range of daily activities. We are kept well informed via the app and every member of staff is professional, personable and wonderful with the children. Thank you all.

I also wanted to note how helpful the team has been in accommodating our needs as family with my childs schedule. My child absolutely loves it here and he has also made some amazing friends!

The staff is very friendly and make my little girl feel safe and engaged. She surprises me with new words and songs she has learnt in the nursery. They organise additional events and engage with charities which I really appreciate.

My 10 months daugther loves to go to this nursery. The staff is so careful with her and I saw everyday how they help her on developing her skills. So grateful with the management team! Knowing that is hard leaving your child while you are working, they have done so much easier to us

Staff are really warm and welcoming to both parents and children. My child is happy going to nursery and I feel that my child is safe and well looked after when in the care of the nursery. I get regular updates for my child which are lovely to see.

My daughter has just finished after having 3 wonderful years here. All staff have always been extremely supportive & approachable. I have had no issues with communication, any issues/accidents have always been reported straight away. My daughter has always been happy to go to pre school & that has made life so much easier, I'll miss our little chats about her day in pre school! Thanks to all the team for the great experience you provided & being a big part of the growth of my daughter.

My child has developed great social skills. Enjoys going to nursery every day and is looking forward to seeing friends and staff.

Overall, we have had very nice experience in the nursery.

My son has been attending this nursery since September 2024, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From day one, he's absolutely loved it - he runs in every morning with a huge smile on his face, waving at everyone and rushing over to give the staff a cuddle. It's such a comfort to see how genuinely happy and secure he feels there.

The activities are a perfect blend of fun and learning, and he especially loves all the time spent outdoors. It's clear that a lot of thought goes into creating engaging, educational experiences for the children. Mealtimes are another highlight- a variety of healthy options.

One of the biggest improvements we've noticed recently is in communication between parents and staff. The team really listens to feedback and takes action where they can, which we truly appreciate. The app is also a brilliant tool for staying informed about his day - from meals and naps to photos and activity updates.

The nursery is clean with good facilities for the children to play with. Children are not placed in front of a tv they are engaged in activities.

My only small concern is I often pick my child up and they has a very full nappy- only wee- but can tell it's been a while since their last change but I put this down to low staff around home time

The only area of improvement would be communication from the nursery to parents. I think the app is fantastic but only tells us about their personal care. It would be great if there was a quick summary of how their day was, what they got up to, and whether they were happy or frustrated that day as there isn't much to get this information from staff at pick up. Sometimes I don't know if they did any activities i.e. arts and crafts as we don't see them bring any art home or anything of the sort. Also, more pictures on the app would be fantastic as we don't get these often.

Overall, this nursery excels in providing high-quality care and education for young children. It offers a supportive and enriching environment where toddlers thrive and flourish.

We will be admitting our daughter to nursery school in September and already feel sad about her leaving The Learning Hive! We would recommend this nursery to anyone.
